00:00Sunderland came away with a 1-1 draw against Everton in the Premier League, with Regis
00:05Libris praising his side's composure.
00:08Yes, we didn't start well or the opponents started really well and they were better than
00:14us. They were dominant. We were not composed on the ball and we turned the ball over many
00:24times. So it was like, with this situation, their dynamic was fed. Do we say this? We
00:42feed their dynamic. Because they like spaces, they like counterattacks, they like 1v1s,
00:51Grealish, NDI, Barry, they are really good when they have space to exploit and because
00:58of our turnovers, it was possible to do that. Later in the game, I think we were more composed
01:04and we dominated the game, but these first 30 minutes were not at the level of the Premier
01:13League.
01:14And Middlesbrough head coach Rob Edwards has reflected on what he described as a strange
01:18game as Borough lost 3-0 away at Watford ahead of their next fixture against Leicester City.
01:25A bit like what I said after, it felt like a strange game. And we did. When I look at
01:30it back, we got into a lot of good areas and didn't make the most of it. And the goals were
01:36really, really disappointing. I know they're big moments because that's what you win and
01:40lose a game with the goals. But it was the sort of manner of it. We're in a brilliant position
01:46for the first goal, to maybe go one-up ourselves. But some of our positioning wasn't quite right
01:52in other areas. And then on that transition, as soon as we lose it, which is a big, big
01:58strength, we don't quite deal with it. So the first goal was important. Those moments
02:04were really frustrating. And like I said, we got into good areas and didn't make the most
02:09right. And even right towards the end, there's some quite big chances. Sanjay had one, David
02:16had a couple.
