00:00Newcastle United found a way to win against Fulham in the Premier League at St James' Park on Saturday afternoon.
00:07That's according to their head coach Eddie Howe.
00:09The Magpies were ahead through Jacob Murphy, but Fulham equalised in the second half
00:14before Brunica Moraes came up with the winner late on.
00:18Yeah, I didn't think the poor performance was bad. Definitely the result we were looking for.
00:23Difficult game today. Can't underestimate the challenge of Tuesday to Saturday.
00:27Emotions, playing a very difficult opponent.
00:33Delighted with how we found a way to win late goal at home.
00:36There's no better way to win, arguably.
00:38And I thought the strongest part of our performance was the last 20-25 minutes, half an hour.
00:43And that pleases me because that means the squad's in a good place.
00:46The attitude of the guys coming on the pitch was excellent.
00:48It's the best way to win for us, the players and the supporters, because it's dramatic.
00:53It just gives you so much more belief winning that way.
00:57I'm not saying that's the way I want to win, but you need to find a way to win depending on the scoreline.
01:02And as you say, we've had the heartbreak of the goals going in against us.
01:06We've done a lot of talking about how we manage the late latter part of games
01:10and delighted to see the players get their rewards.
01:13And Sunderland claimed an unlikely victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
01:19Regis Libris praised the set-up that his side employed.
01:22Yeah, it's a good performance, especially after this early goal.
01:30It wasn't obvious to stay in the game, but after probably 15 minutes, we found the right balance
01:38with good quality on the ball with these four midfielders and the ability to defend high
01:45when it was possible and to set a deep block connected, very strong, hard to beat, to avoid
01:53and to protect their goal and to protect our box.
01:56I didn't change the game plan because it was the way we wanted to build this game.
02:02But when you are on the pitch, it's different.
02:05Emotionally, I think it's sometimes difficult to find the right balance.
02:10We still have a really young squad.
