00:00And Michel, we're just speaking to Riyad there, and he talks about the atrocities, about the displacement, about the humanitarian crisis that's unfolding in Sudan.
00:11What are you hearing? What are MSF teams saying on the ground? What are they witnessing? How serious is this?
00:19So MSF is working in several states in Sudan at the moment, and we were forced to withdraw our staff and medical activities in El Fashir in the past year due to the ongoing violence.
00:37And we had as well to close and stop all the activity in the neighboring internal displaced people close to El Fashir in Zamzam in the month of April when the RSF attacked the camp.
00:48So the last week, what we are seeing, because we open a new hospital, or we support a new hospital in 60 kilometers from El Fashir,
00:59and what we see from the people coming and taking refuge in Zamzam is really that a massacre is ongoing.
01:07The people are exhausted and dehydrated.
01:10We are doing the case management of civilians affected by gunshots.
01:16So in the past two days, we are taking in charge roughly 100 people affected by gunshots.
01:24And since mid-August, we treated more than 500 people who have been victims of torture.
01:32I can talk as well about the sexual violence.
01:35So this is more than 200 cases that we manage in the month of September.
01:41But this, in the past week, is a peak while the people are moving out of El Fashir.
01:49But this is a pattern we have seen in the headlines that some people were arrested in the past days.
01:55But this is not the case of one person alone.
02:00This is a system.
02:01This is ongoing since months.
02:03And this is what we portrayed in a report that we issued in June.
02:07So one of the big questions that we have today is the flow of people moving out of El Fashir,
02:15reaching this city of Tawila, but even the other cities around.
02:20This flow of people has stopped since a few days.
02:24So our big question is, where are the thousands of people who were supposed to move out of El Fashir?
02:32So we are very concerned, or they detain, is there any bloodbath somewhere?
02:37So this is one of the questions.
02:38So everyone is referring to El Fashir like something is over.
02:42Although we are calling to the LSF to spare the civilians, spare the medical structure, the humanitarian.
02:49But there is a big question on, where are the thousands of the people of El Fashir?
