00:00Jono, one million people have actually been evacuated.
00:03I think just to put that humanitarian crisis into context is huge.
00:09It's huge, but also 500,000 people are missing.
00:12So a death toll of 700 is a very, unfortunately, it's a lowball estimate
00:18on how many are going to actually have perished in this as well.
00:21But we're talking exactly like Gemma said,
00:23villages that have been completely unreachable by foot or any other means.
00:26The bridges are gone, the roads are destroyed.
00:28The humanitarian crisis that will now ensue is going to be astronomical.
00:32Hospitals are simply overwhelmed.
00:34We don't know what the situation is like with hospitals
00:36which are within areas which have been completely cut off
00:38because we've got no communication with them.
00:40And the operation is stretched across these three different provinces as well.
00:44So it's, yes, one of the largest natural disasters Indonesia
00:47and the region, in fact, has faced in years.
00:49But the scale of the emergency response is absolutely enormous here.
00:53And it will require the entire world to come to the fore to support this.
00:58At a time like that.
00:59And again, there's a lot of speculation as regards
01:01what may have caused this.
01:03And Indonesia, for one, has fallen victim of the last couple of years
01:06of massive deforestation.
01:08Thank you for the fire.
01:10Thank you, Anthony.
01:12Thank you for the support of this.
01:13Thank you, Anthony.
01:15And I will see you next time.
01:17Have a good day.
