00:06which will be rolling out into the hands of customers just in time for the next brand new season.
00:11With 10 horsepower more power and even better handling, the racing car presents itself as a sharper,
00:17but at the same time easier to drive racing car.
00:21The designation GT, previously included in the name as the GT3 Cup,
00:25will be dropped in the future and will only be reserved for special racing series or segments.
00:31The heart of the car is still the water-cooled 4.0-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine,
00:36which now delivers 520 horsepower.
00:41A clever automatic engine restart function prevents long downtimes after an accidental start,
00:47and a strobe brake light function provides additional safety in critical racing situations.
00:52Visually, the new 911 Cup is based on the design of the 992.2-generation 911 GT3.
01:02The three-part front spoiler lip reduces repair costs after bumps,
01:06while the omission of daytime running lights reduces the risk of radiator damage.
01:10Fenders with integrated air vents, an aerodynamically optimized underbody and special turning vanes
01:19behind the front wheels improve downforce and airflow on the front axle,
01:23which is particularly noticeable at high speeds.
01:27The completely new development is striking at the rear.
01:31The swan neck rear wing has a modified connection for easier handling
01:36and the engine compartment cover has been redesigned.
01:40Almost all add-on parts, including the doors,
01:43are made of recycled carbon fiber fleece in combination with bio-based epoxy resin,
01:48which underlines the sustainability concept.
01:51There are also noticeable innovations in the cockpit.
01:54The electrically-assisted power steering has been optimized for smaller curve radii
01:59and the multi-function steering wheel now has central rotary controls for abs and traction control.
02:05The control panel has been reduced from 10 to just 10 switches
02:09and an additional button leads to an extended menu page in the display
02:13without the need for a laptop connection.
02:17A new foam lining on the door cross also provides better protection for the driver during tough maneuvers.
02:22The Porsche 911 Cup is offered at a net price of around 269,000 euros,
02:30making it an exclusive yet competitive package in its class.
