00:04Today, it's all about the DS No. 8, the brand new electric SUV coupé with which the premium brand DS is making its confident foray into the luxury segment.
00:15Since the introduction of the independent brand in 2016, DS has increasingly emancipated itself from its parent brand Citroën and is now presenting itself as a serious player in the upscale vehicle segment under the umbrella of the Stellantis Group.
00:30The DS No. 8 impressively embodies these ambitions.

04:38which is particularly advantageous when fully loaded or in poor visibility.
04:43The new wrong pedal prevention safety system detects when the accelerator and brake pedals are mixed up
04:48and intervenes electronically to correct the situation.
04:52The active chassis system uses cameras and sensors to analyze the road surface and adjust the damping in real time.
04:58This ensures a comfortable yet controlled driving experience,
05:04even with an unladen weight of around 2.3 tons.
05:08The all-wheel drive is only permanently activated in sport and AD driving modes,
05:13otherwise only when starting off, when traction is lost or when kickdown is activated.
