00:00The fully-electric Nissan Townstar IV will be even more versatile and attractively priced in the future.
00:08With new variants and a revised range of features, the practical small van is aimed at a broad target group.
00:16New to the range are the Townstar EO panel van with a double cab and long wheelbase,
00:21as well as the EV station wagon with a seven-seater version, also with a long wheelbase.
00:25Nissan has thus created more space for passengers and luggage and significantly improved the everyday suitability of the electrically-powered vehicle.
00:35The previous basic equipment has been eliminated with the facelift.
00:39In future, the range will start with the Accenta line, which already includes extensive safety features.
00:46These include, among other things, an intelligent emergency braking system, fatigue detection and lane departure warning.
00:53The NC connector and Technor equipment options are available for additional comfort and technical highlights.
01:01The Technor variant in particular now also offers a cross-traffic warning system for the rear area, thus increasing safety when maneuvering and reversing.
01:09All panel van variants are also equipped as standard with a Mode 2 charging cable for connection to standard household Shuko sockets.
01:20Under the hood is an electric motor with an output of 122 horsepower and a torque of 245 Nm.
01:27The energy is supplied by a battery with a capacity of 45 kWh, which can be charged either with alternating current or with direct current via the CCS connection.
01:40A quick charge from 15% to 80% is possible in just 37 minutes.
01:46All Townstar EVs have a 22 kW onboard charger for charging at ball boxes or public AC charging stations.
01:53Only the Accenta version of the van is optionally available with an 11 kW charger.
02:02An integrated heat pump enables efficient heating in the interior, which also reduces energy consumption.
02:09In addition, a battery cooling system helps to extend the service life of the high-voltage battery.
02:14These components illustrate the great importance Nissan places on durability and economy in the Townstar EV.
02:24Nissan grants a manufacturer's warranty of 5 years or up to 160,000 km mileage on all versions of the Townstar.
02:33There is an additional 8-year warranty for the battery.
02:36During this period, it is guaranteed that the battery capacity will not fall below 70%.
02:42This is an important signal for buyers who rely on long-term reliability.
02:49The Townstar EVO is now also more attractive in terms of price.
02:54The van is now available from around 33,000 euros net,
02:57which represents a reduction compared to the previous price of just under 34,000 euros.
03:02The EV station wagon now starts at around 36,500 euros gross,
03:08having previously been available for around 40,000 euros.
03:14With this pricing strategy,
03:16Nissan is pursuing the goal of strengthening its position in the electric van segment
03:19and making the Townstar EV accessible to a wider customer base.
