00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:06Today we're talking about the new Azimut, the first crossover from Autowatts,
00:10which was unveiled at the 2025 International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg and is scheduled to go into production in 2026.
00:18With the Azimut, Autowatts is launching a vehicle that boasts features that have never been seen in Russian cars before.
00:24Particularly striking is the wide range of comfort features offered by the Azimut.
00:34These include wireless charging for smartphones, electrically adjustable front seats and an electrically adjustable steering column,
00:41a panoramic window with integrated sunroof, heated exterior mirrors, an electrically operated tailgate,
00:47dual-zone automatic climate control, a camera system with all-round visibility, an electronic parking assistant,
00:53and a driving mode selection that adapts to road conditions.
01:00In addition to these comfort features, the Azimut also offers a newly developed digital platform,
01:05which was implemented together with the Russian technology company Spare.
01:11This enables multimedia functions, an integrated navigation system and voice control via a virtual assistant with Giggage technology.
01:19The Azimut also shows its versatility under the hood.
01:24Two engines will be offered at market launch, a 1.6L petrol engine with 120 horsepower and a 1.8L petrol engine with 132 horsepower.
01:34Both can be combined with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission.
01:39A 1.5L turbo engine with 150 horsepower and classic automatic transmission is also planned for the near future.
01:46This should make the Azimut a confident performer both in city traffic and on longer journeys.
01:54With this model, Lada is taking a clear step towards modern vehicle standards and demonstrating that the Russian automotive industry is also on the way to further developing its technology,
02:04at least in terms of equipment.
02:05How the vehicle will perform in everyday use remains to be seen.
02:11But the Azimut definitely marks a new chapter in the history of Autowatts.
