00:05Today we're talking about the new 2026 Havel Big Dog,
00:09which was unveiled with fresh official images and will officially be launched in China on July 17.
00:14The Havel Big Dog, a model from the Chinese manufacturer Great War Motor,
00:19is getting a subtle facelift for the 2026 model year,
00:22with the main changes being made to the look and interior.
00:24The angular off-road-like design is largely retained.
00:33The redesigned radiator grille at the front is particularly striking,
00:37while the striking retro-style LED headlights are retained.
00:41With a luminous intensity of around 47,800 candelas in the low beam and around 94,500 candelas in the high beam,
00:49the manufacturer says the brightness has been improved by 20%.
00:53At the rear, the continuous L-shaped light strip remains,
00:57as do the classic door handles and the roof wheels on the side.
01:01Buyers can choose between five colors.
01:04Fog blue, moss green, meteorite gray, moon white and black.
01:09The dimensions are expected to remain identical to the current model.
01:12The Havel Big Dog measures approximately 4.6 meters in length,
01:171.9 meters in width and 1.8 meters in height with a wheelbase of around 2.7 meters.
01:23The interior has been modernized.
01:28A new steering wheel with a flattened bottom and a larger central display with a diagonal of 14.6 inches await the driver,
01:34as well as a 9-inch head-up display and a fully digital instrument cluster.
01:41The infotainment system is based on JWM's Coffee OS 3.
01:46Ventilated seats and a sound system with 10 speakers ensure greater comfort.
01:51The trunk can be expanded to up to around 1,400 L by folding down the rear seats.
01:56No official information has yet been given about the engine of the 2026 model.
02:03For reference, the current Havel Big Dog from 2024 is offered with either a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine
02:09with 224 horsepower and 275 newton meters of torque
02:14or with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 239 horsepower and 385 newton meters.
02:19Depending on the engine, power is transmitted via a 7-speed or 9-speed dual-clutch transmission.
02:27The prices of the currently available model range from around €16,000 to €19,000.
02:35Since its market launch in 2020, over 600,000 units have been sold worldwide,
02:41with over 10,000 units per month in the last 12 months alone.
