Die Diem Motors X-01 ist ein innovatives Elektromotorrad direkt aus Berlin, das für den urbanen Einsatz entwickelt wurde. Vorgestellt wurde das Konzept im Januar 2025 auf der MBE in Verona, der fahrbereite Prototyp folgte im Juni auf dem Reload Land in Berlin.

Mit 35 kW Leistung, einem direkt angetriebenen Axialfluss-Nabenmotor und einem neu entwickelten Einrohrrahmen bringt die X-01 eine komplett intern entwickelte Technik auf die Straße. Der Motor sitzt direkt an der Hinterachse, wodurch auf klassische Antriebskomponenten wie Kette, Ritzel oder Getriebe verzichtet werden kann – das reduziert Gewicht und Wartungsaufwand deutlich.

Diem Motors setzt auf vollständige Eigenentwicklung: Rahmen, Motor und Batterie stammen aus einer Hand. Das Unternehmen verfolgt zusätzlich ein umfassendes Nachhaltigkeitskonzept – von der Materialauswahl bis zur Produktion.

00:03Today, everything revolves around the pioneering electric motorcycle D-Motors X01 from Berlin,

00:09which aims to set new standards as a prototype for urban mobility.

00:15The X01 was first presented as a concept at the MBE Trade Fair in Verona in January 2025

00:21and unveiled as a functional prototype at Reloadland in Berlin in June of the same year.

00:25D-Motors developed and manufactured all of the key electrical components,

00:33from the engine to the battery, entirely in-house, which represents a clear commitment to vertical integration.

00:42The electric drive of the X01 delivers an output of 35 kW and optimally uses the

00:47immediately available high torque of the electric motor for city traffic.

00:51In terms of technology, the motorcycle relies on a newly developed monotube frame

00:57and an axial flux hub motor that drives the rear wheel directly.

01:01This engine architecture is not only compact and lightweight,

01:05but also completely dispenses with classic mechanical components such as chains, sprockets, or transmissions.

01:11This significantly reduces the mechanical complexity and makes the motorcycle particularly low-maintenance.

01:17The special placement of the engine on the rear axle also allows for an alternative arrangement of the battery unit,

01:24which in turn enables an innovative frame design.

01:29This has been optimized for minimum weight, structural stability, and simple production.

01:35In concrete terms, this means that the frame remains stable even under heavy loads,

01:40such as braking, acceleration, or fast cornering.

01:42It does not warp and does not require any additional reinforcements.

01:49Despite its lightweight, it is resilient, durable, and safe.

01:54Team Motors was founded by an experienced team that can look back on over four decades of expertise in motorcycle and vehicle design.

02:01The corporate philosophy is based on complete control over development and production, i.e. vertical integration.

02:11This means that important components such as the frame and drivetrain are not purchased, but developed in-house.

02:19This not only enables optimized system integration, but also lowers production costs, reduces weight, and accelerates development.

02:26The company structure has been deliberately kept lean in order to be able to respond flexibly to technological innovations,

02:34for example in the areas of battery technology, engine development, or material selection.

02:40In addition, Motors pursues an extended approach to sustainability.

02:43This not only refers to the emission-free drive, but also includes the use of environmentally friendly materials

02:51and resource-saving production processes in order to keep the ecological impact as low as possible.

02:59All in all, the X-01 presents itself as a serious solution for the urban mobility of tomorrow.
