00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about an electric powerhouse on two small wheels.
00:07The Dreyer 010X Scooter.
00:11At first glance, this model may seem like just another toy for adults.
00:16But a closer look reveals a serious, technically ambitious vehicle for urban adrenaline junkies and discerning commuters.
00:22The Zero 1X is equipped with two powerful electric motors, which together achieve a peak output of around 4 horsepower.
00:34That's enough to accelerate the scooter, which weighs around 32 kilograms, to an impressive top speed of around 69 kilometers per hour, mind you, with electronically limited power.
00:48Those with technical knowledge can get even more out of the system here.
00:52To ensure that the scooter can also handle smooth asphalt roads with ease, Dreyer relies on a sprung chassis with pistons and spring mechanisms.
01:02This combination ensures that uneven surfaces are significantly dampened.
01:07This is supported by air-filled tires, which additionally ensure a comfortable ride, as they effectively dampen vibrations.
01:16Stability at high speeds has also been considered.
01:19The wide tread surface offers enough space to stand securely.
01:24Even during rapid acceleration by the two motors, which each deliver 1,000 watts and together reach a peak of 3,200 watts.
01:34The power supply is provided by a battery with a capacity of 21 ampere hours at almost 60 volts.
01:40In Eco mode, the manufacturer promises a range of up to 90 kilometers.
01:47A remarkable value that is certainly more than sufficient for most everyday routes.
01:53However, if you call on the full power and use both motors permanently, you should expect to pay around half that, which is still sufficient for many exciting kilometers.
02:02The brake system is available with either a cable or hydraulic system.
02:09Even if the hydraulic version is around 100 euros more expensive than the simpler cable option at around euro 1300, this investment is worthwhile.
02:18More braking power, better controllability and greater safety clearly speak in favor of it.
02:23The 010X is particularly practical when it comes to transport.
02:29Like many ES scooters, the frame can be folded up, but the handlebar grips can also be folded in.
02:36This means that the scooter also fits into smaller cars or can be taken on public transport to save space.
02:42So if you value performance but don't want to compromise on flexibility, you'll find an interesting overall package here.
02:51Dreiter produces the 0-1X in limited quantities and anyone interested in the model can currently secure a place in the next production run.
03:01The price is currently around 1,200 euros for the basic version with cable brakes.
03:07For just 100 euros more, you can get the model with hydraulic brakes.
03:12A worthwhile surcharge for anyone who values safety.
