00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog on the topic of the 2025 Citroën C5 Aircross.
00:09This article is about the exciting presentation of the new generation of the large French SUV,
00:14which comes with many innovations and some impressive changes.
00:19The new Citroën C5 Aircross makes great progress on several levels.
00:24The SUV has grown significantly in its new version, by 15 cm to almost 4.7 m in length.
00:31The width has also increased by 5 cm, reaching around 1.9 m.
00:36The height, on the other hand, has been reduced slightly by 2-3 cm to just under 1.7 m.
00:43The occupants in the rear particularly benefit from the changes,
00:47as the wheelbase has grown by 6 cm to around 2.8 m,
00:50which noticeably improves the amount of space available.
00:55The design of the Citroën C5 Aircross is a further development of the concept
00:59that was already presented at the Paris Motor Show.
01:03It now harmonizes more closely with other current models of the brand such as the C3,
01:08the C3 Aircross and the C4 Facelift.
01:13The front is particularly striking with a large, flat radiator grille
01:16and a wide grille that contrasts with the slim LED matrix headlights.
01:22The wheels, which are up to 20 inches in size,
01:25reinforce the powerful appearance of the sideline,
01:27while the rear is enhanced by so-called cantilevered taillights,
01:31which Citroën claims are intended to improve aerodynamics.
01:35Inside, the C5 Aircross presents itself in a modern and futuristic way.
01:40A two-spoke wheel and a horizontally running dashboard
01:43give the front section an extremely wide appearance.
01:48The 10.25-inch instrument cluster is complemented by a color head-up display
01:53and a 13.6-inch vertically arranged touchscreen for the infotainment system.
01:57The design has an ultra-modern feel and offers a wide range of functions,
02:04such as the integration of Chad GPT for the voice assistant
02:07and massage programs for the seats.
02:11The slim air vents and the subtle ambient lighting
02:13also contribute to the high-quality impression.
02:18The seats of the Citroën C5 Aircross are comfortably upholstered,
02:22although large parts of the interior are made of hard plastic.
02:25However, these surfaces are enhanced by a piano lacquer finish
02:30with a three-dimensional effect.
02:33Particularly commendable are some of the decorative strips
02:35on the doors and center console,
02:37which are made of 20% recycled vines.
02:41Even tall passengers enjoy generous space in the rear.
02:46Le Groom is excellent and headroom has been improved
02:49by 7 centimeters compared to its predecessor.
02:51In addition, the seats can be individually tilted by 20 to 30 degrees,
02:57which significantly increases variability and comfort.
03:02The boot volume ranges from a minimum of 650 L to around 1700 L
03:07with the rear seats folded down in a ratio of 40 by 20 by 40.
03:12Although there is no frunk in the all-electric versions,
03:14the double-loading floor offers sufficient space
03:17to accommodate the charging cable.
03:21The new Citroën C5 Aircross is powered by several engine variants.
03:29Based on the Stellantis platform,
03:31it shares many elements with models such as the Opel Grandland
03:34and the POOT 300.
03:35It is based on a 1.2-liter petrol engine
03:38with a 48-volt system
03:39and an output of 145 horsepower
03:42combined with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
03:48The range is supplemented by a plug-in hybrid
03:50in which a 1.6-liter petrol engine
03:52together with an electric motor
03:54delivers a system output of 195 horsepower,
03:5830 horsepower less than its predecessor.
04:00The battery of this plug-in hybrid
04:04has a capacity of 21 kilowatts-hours,
04:07which enables an electric range of almost 90 kilometers.
04:11The charging speed is 3.7 kilowatts as standard.
04:15Optionally, 2.5 kilowatts-hours are possible.
04:19Particularly noteworthy are the two fully electric versions
04:22of the Citroën C5 Aircross.
04:23The first version offers 210 horsepower
04:28and a 73 kilowatts-per-hour battery,
04:30which should enable a range of around 520 kilometers.
04:36The second variant delivers 230 horsepower
04:39and relies on a 97 kilowatts-hour battery,
04:42which promises a comfortable range of 680 kilometers.
04:48When charging, the Citroën achieves up to 11 kilowatts
04:51with alternating current and up to 160 kilowatts
04:54with direct current,
04:55which means that a range of around 160 kilometers
04:58can be charged within 10 minutes.
05:01The new C5 Aircross will no longer be available
05:04with a diesel engine.
05:06As for prices, Citroën has not yet published an official list.
05:12However, the starting price for the 48-volt petrol engine
05:15is expected to be around €40,000,
05:18while prices for the electric version
05:19are likely to start at around €47,500.
05:25As always, you can find the link to read the article
05:28in our magazine in the video description.
05:31Welcome to the fantastic display of the Signpost Milano
05:34where today we welcomed the new SUV Citroën C5 Aircross,
05:38the latest arrival from the Citroën house,
05:40the Vettura, or Mirai,
05:41which will complete the innovation process
05:43of the Doubler Chevron brand range,
05:45which will see the light for the first time in Italy today,
05:47as we do together.
05:49It is a model of the all-new,
05:51a model that marks a major advance
05:53under all the points of view,
05:54with the C5 Aircross generation already having had
05:57and having had the opportunity to introduce
05:59a major advance in terms of dimensions,
06:01increasing by 16 centimeters to 4.65 meters.
06:05Finally, in the current CSUV segment,
06:08one of the most important in Italy
06:09is growing in content,
06:11more technological,
06:12more comfortable,
06:13as is often the case with the Citroën brand
06:15and as all the latest launches of the Citroën brand
06:17are available in a multi-energia platform,
06:20built on the Stella Midem platform,
06:22but Infati is available with a 48-speed iDrive motor
06:25with 950 kilometers of autonomy,
06:27a plug-in hybrid that offers the best in iDrive motorization
06:30with the comfort of electric driving up to 100 kilometers
06:33of autonomy in urban areas
06:35in the 100% electric version,
06:37completely redesigned with two batteries,
06:39one of 520 kilometers of autonomy
06:42and an additional 680 kilometers of autonomy.
06:46Overall, everything is new outside.
06:49The attention paid to the aerodynamics of the vehicle
06:52was very impressive,
06:53which required a very special level of efficiency,
06:56as great as the great innovations inside.
06:59Interiors that are often reinterpreted
07:01by people already familiar with the new Citroën C3,
07:04the new Citroën C3 Cross.
07:08The interior is often referred to as the C-Zen Lounge,
07:11but also the advanced comfort seats,
07:13the CIT advanced comfort suspension,
07:15but the interiors dominated by the infotainment system
07:18are also being transformed,
07:19with the man-machine interface being very responsive,
07:22in order to make every moment extremely appealing
07:24to all occupants,
07:25including those in the second row.
07:29Why?
07:30Because among the most affordable SUVs in the second line,
07:34there are none with a larger luggage compartment.
07:39Then there are some really great surprises.
07:41Flight R-Arch and we are sure
07:43that even the new 5 Aircross,
07:44like the rest of the Citroën range,
07:46will be a hugely successful success.
07:50Today, we are presenting in Italy
07:52the new C5 Aircross SUV,
07:54a basic model that represents the diamond tip of our range.
07:57It is a car that will complete a double route for our brand.
08:04The first one is already relatively design-related
08:06because with the C5 Aircross,
08:08we have today taken off the new Citroën logo
08:10and the family feeling,
08:11also with the company's bright logo
08:13at three points in the entire range.
08:16And the second route,
08:18which has been completed a little over a year ago,
08:20is the one about electricity.
08:21Yes, because the new C5 Aircross
08:25will also be available in a 100% electric version,
08:28then it will be available in both 100% electric versions
08:31and one with a 73 kWh battery
08:33for 520 kilometers of autonomy with 210 horsepower.
08:40A second, more powerful version
08:42with a range of 680 kilometers,
08:4597 kWh of battery for 230 horsepower.
08:53We believe that with this range,
08:55we leave the house safely charged,
08:57even because the versions can be charged
08:58to 160 kW in ultra-fast mode,
09:01after which it goes from 20% charging
09:03to 80% in just 26 minutes.
09:05Not only electric,
09:10but also this is a platform,
09:12it is the Star Medium,
09:13a modular platform
09:14that also allows you
09:15to accommodate thermal motorizations.
09:18In this case,
09:19we have a plug-in hybrid,
09:20so a 150 horsepower thermal engine
09:23combined with an electric motor
09:24to reach a total of 195 horsepower.
09:28This variant is very interesting
09:29because it allows you to travel
09:31100 kilometers on an urban cycle
09:33in 100% electric mode.
09:35Therefore,
09:37we believe that in the case
09:38of working at home in the week,
09:39you have the option
09:40of not starting the thermal engine anymore
09:42and even more
09:43if we combine the two variants
09:44to exceed 1,000 kilometers
09:46of comprehensive range.
09:48This also means
09:49that the motorization
09:50is still more accessible.
09:51We are talking about a mild hybrid,
09:53but also a 48 volts mild hybrid
09:55of the latest generation,
09:56145 horsepower
09:58combined with a double clutch transmission.
10:00In this case,
10:01a deviation of more than 900 kilometers
10:03is achieved with a reduction,
10:04a reduction in CO2 consumption
10:06of 15%.
10:08In the city,
10:10it is charged by itself,
10:11it has the ability to recycle
10:13by 50% of the speed
10:14in electric mode.
10:16The C5 Aircross
10:17has been a major innovation
10:18in terms of design.
10:20In this case,
10:21the design objective
10:21was doubled.
10:22The first one
10:24was to have
10:24an extremely spacious living space.
10:29Spacious
10:30because this means
10:31greater comfort
10:31for those who are on the edge
10:33and a functional design
10:34that once again
10:34increases energy efficiency.
10:40There are many features
10:41of the C5 Aircross
10:42that are functional
10:43and that help
10:44to increase
10:44aerodynamic efficiency.
10:45For example,
10:49we have the new
10:50Citroen Light Wings
10:51behind us.
10:54They are made of
10:55real and artistic materials,
10:56which we like
10:57from a design perspective,
10:58but also present
10:59functional elements,
11:00once again
11:01to make the vehicle
11:01more efficient.
11:06Inside,
11:07you will find
11:07incredible comfort,
11:09as we have a lounge
11:09on wheels,
11:10and we have not only
11:11the famous
11:12Citroen Advanced
11:12Comfort Seats,
11:13which have the highest
11:14levels of comfort
11:15to ensure maximum comfort
11:16even on long journeys.
11:20This is great
11:21technology inside.
11:24In the center
11:24of the dashboard,
11:25we have a beautiful
11:2613-inch vertical touchscreen,
11:28the largest in our range,
11:30which allows us
11:30to control
11:31all the functionality
11:32of the car.
11:35Ventilated seats,
11:36in this case
11:36to maximize comfort,
11:38are also heated
11:39in the rear seat row.
11:43The rear seat row
11:44is particularly noteworthy
11:45because it takes up
11:46space above the head
11:47and knees,
11:48thus providing maximum
11:49comfort for all occupants.
11:55In addition to the technology,
11:57the latest generation
11:58UDOSH,
11:59a quadruple front-facing
12:00instrument cluster,
12:01is fully digital
12:02and, above all,
12:03an extended display
12:04that ensures the projection
12:05of key guidance information
12:06without having to
12:07disturb the road ahead.
12:08in the front,
12:15we are introducing
12:16a new feature
12:16for what concerns
12:17the Citroen brand,
12:18the Citroen Matrix,
12:19with 20 LED lights
12:20that light up
12:21and function
12:22as required for guidance.
12:28A solution
12:29that will definitely
12:30be perfect
12:30for a family audience,
12:32but also for B2B,
12:33which has a significant
12:34weight in this segment
12:35and we still want
12:36to use the C5 Aircross
12:37again to guarantee
12:38the promise that we make
12:39to our customers,
12:40even in terms of accessibility.
12:44The mild hybrid version
12:46is offered
12:46at a promotional price
12:48of €29,900.
12:53€900 in the case
12:54of a power outage,
12:55if confirmed
12:56as being the case,
12:57future state incentives
12:58will be available
12:59at a price
12:59of €25,400,
13:01which will provide
13:02additional accessibility
13:03to ensure
13:04the energy transition
13:05as well.
