00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04Today we're talking about an extraordinary electric motorcycle with a 3D printed fairing,
00:09which was designed by Dab Motors together with the Vita Veltios team
00:12and is strongly reminiscent of Shotaro Kaneda's iconic bike from the Anime Akira.
00:20The unique two-wheeler celebrated its premiere at the birthday party of the Colombian singer Jay Bayin,
00:25who is also co-founder of the Vita Veloz team, together with the designer Matthias Gallen.
00:30Together with Simon Daddy, the founder of Dave Motors, this futuristic electric motorcycle was designed,
00:37the body of which was completely manufactured using the 3D printing process.
00:43State-of-the-art AI tools were used during development to precisely model the shape and details.
00:50The solidly built monolithic bodywork completely encloses the large tires and is equipped with a windshield for fast rides.
01:00The entire frame structure shines in a deep matte red, which has been patinated by hand.
01:08Minor scratches and signs of wear are deliberately integrated,
01:11because the goal was not to create a flawless motorcycle,
01:14but one that seems to tell a story even before it hits the road.
01:17Although the design team never explicitly mentions that the motorcycle was inspired by Shotaro Kaneda's vehicle,
01:26the similarity is unmistakable.
01:30From the special rim to the closed body and the futuristic-looking wheels.
01:33The design process began with initial sketches and 3D printing and ultimately led to a finished product
01:42that combines 3D printing, sanding, painting and precise manual assembly work.
01:46This is where high-tech processes meet traditional craftsmanship.
01:53No expense was spared on the technical details either.
01:57Sound-absorbing foam is located between the wheel covers and the rims,
02:01which produces low-frequency sounds when riding.
02:05This allows the rider to feel the vibrations of the electric drive directly on their own body.
02:10The motorcycle also has atmospheric lighting that makes it glow in the dark.
02:18Thanks to the hidden LED strips on the outer shell,
02:20a violet-blue glow is created that visually highlights the bike during night rides.
02:27Although this first example was built especially for J Balvin,
02:30Diab Motors and the Vita Veloci team are announcing a limited edition.
02:36This underlines the fact that this electric motorcycle with 3D printed fairing
02:39is not a concept vehicle, but fully functional and ready to ride.
