Leeds United Head Coach Daniel Farke has issued an injury update ahead of the Whites’ Premier League clash with West Ham United at Elland Road, whilst Bradford City Manager Graham Alexander has made clear that the Bantams are a big club, but wants them to be seen as a great team on the pitch.
00:00Leeds United head coach Daniel Farker has provided an injury update for the Whites, ahead of their Premier League clash at Elland Road, against struggling side West Ham United.
00:12Yes, we will be prepared in terms of what we have to expect and how we want to go into this game. So from the tactical point of view, we are and will be well prepared. In personal terms, we have to take some late decisions. That's definitely for sure.
00:28Obviously, we have a few problems in the offense in terms of availability. Noah Okafor and Willignanto are making some good progress in the rear, but they were not able to complete the whole team training during this week so far.
00:45We'll definitely take some late decisions. Obviously, Noah was not out as long as Willi. Perhaps for him, it's a bit more realistic to be involved, but we'll see.
00:55Also, a few players are struggling with illnesses at the moment, like probably the whole country is doing at the moment. Also, Eastern Badu and Pascal Stroik missed team training today, so also question marks about their availability. So there will be some late calls and then we'll see who is available.
01:13And Bradford City boss Graeme Alexander believes that the Bantams are a big club, but also wants them to be seen as a great team on the pitch as well.
01:22Well, one of the first things I said when I came here was every opponent talks about Bradford as a big club. I wanted them to talk about Bradford. They're a good team.
01:36Yeah. I wanted them. I want that to be the first thing they thought of, you know, and that's with all due respect to the supporters and the atmosphere we create here.
01:44But I wanted, you know, they're coming here to compete. So I wanted any opponent to know that they're in a competition when they come to Valley Parade.
01:52It's not just quiet in the crowd and then you just walk over the team. So I'm quite amused when a team turns us around. I'd like the supporters to cheer when they turn it around because I think we're already in people's heads.
02:06That's what I generally feel. I feel right. They've obviously talked about that. They're thinking of different ways to overcome our strength and our power.
