Der neue KIA K4 Hatchback 2026 feiert seine Premiere auf der New York Auto Show und bringt frischen Wind in die Kompaktklasse. Kürzer als die Limousine, aber mit genauso viel Platz und Technik – der K4 Hatchback punktet mit cleverem Design, smarten Features und zwei Motorvarianten bis 193 PS.

Die GT-Line und GT-Line Turbo setzen auf sportliche Details, verbessertes Fahrwerk und mehr Ausstattung. Dazu gibt’s ein digitales Cockpit mit fast 30 Zoll Displaybreite, Sprachsteuerung per KI und zahlreiche Assistenzsysteme für den Alltag.

00:23the new K4 hatchback builds on the success of the sedan while emphasizing an even sportier character.
00:30The vehicle is aimed at people with an active lifestyle.
00:33Whether it's for weekend adventures, pets, or everyday life in the city where parking is tight,
00:40the K4 hatchback offers the same high-quality features as the sedan,
00:44but scores points with more flexible cargo space and a more spacious interior.
00:50The shorter overall length ensures greater maneuverability,
00:54making it a smart and versatile choice for urban environments and beyond.
01:00U.S. launch is planned for late 2025.
01:03The model will be offered in standard and GT-line variants.
01:07The K4 hatchback's visual cues are reminiscent of the sedan's striking proportions and wide stance.
01:15Its distinctive, striking floating roof design blends elegantly into the rear.

01:41The cargo space behind the rear seats is suitable for everyday use
01:47and can be further expanded by folding down the rear seatbacks.
01:51Typical design elements of the sedan have been retained,
01:55including the vertical LED headlights and taillights,
01:58inspired by the award-winning EV9.
02:01The rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar,
02:05further emphasizing the sporty proportions.
02:07The sparkling yellow paint finish is exclusive to the hatchback.
02:12The GT-line models of the K4 hatchback,
02:15as is familiar from the Kia model range, emphasize sporty accents.
02:20A three-spoke wheel, shift paddles, 18-inch lightweight wheels,
02:24high-gloss black mirror caps, side skirts, and wheel arch liners.
02:29The GT-line turbo adds LED projector headlights, LED fog lights,
02:34a standard electric sunroof, and larger front brakes.
02:39The cockpit is designed for the driver, similar to the sedan,
02:43and features a nearly 70 cm wide digital dual display
02:47that combines intuitive operation with the technology
02:50of the connected car navigation cockpit system.
02:55Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard,
02:59as is a wireless smartphone charging function.
03:01Options include heated front seats,
03:06a Harman Kardon premium audio system,
03:08and the digital key 2.0 with ultra-brightband technology,
03:12which allows compatible smartphones to be used as a car key.
03:17Additional digital features and services,
03:19such as premium data services, over-the-air updates,
03:22music streaming, and a Wi-Fi hotspot,
03:25are available through the Kia Connect store.
03:27The voice assistant, based on generative AI,
03:31can control various vehicle functions via
03:33HeyKia, from the air conditioning to music selection.
03:37It now even answers questions about the owner's manual,
03:40offers excursion tips,
03:41and provides entertainment during the journey with language games.
03:45Technically, the hatchback adopts the sedan's engine range.
03:48A 2.0-liter engine with approximately 149 horsepower
03:54and 179 newton-meters of torque is available,
03:57combined with an intelligent variable transmission.
04:00A 1.6-liter turbo engine with approximately 193 horsepower
04:05and 264 newton-meters of torque is optionally available,
04:09coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
04:11Exclusive to the GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo,
04:16a sporty chassis configuration ensures even more agile handling.
04:20In terms of driver assistance,
04:22the K4 hatchback features comprehensive Udash equipment
04:25with lane departure warning,
04:27intelligent cruise control with stop and start function,
04:30and optionally, depending on the model,
04:32evasive steering assist and highway assist.
04:35Blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard.
04:38Blind spot collision avoidance,
04:42blind spot cameras,
04:43a 360-degrees camera,
04:45and parking sensors are also available as options.
04:49The K4 hatchback is expected to launch in late 2025.
04:53Prices, equipment details,
