Die BMW X3 Langversion (G46) bringt 11 cm mehr Radstand und richtet sich exklusiv an den chinesischen Markt. Mit einer Gesamtlänge von 4,87 m und einem Radstand von 2,98 m bietet das SUV mehr Platz im Fond – ideal für den luxuriösen Fahrkomfort, den viele chinesische Kunden bevorzugen.
Unter der Haube arbeitet ein 3.0L xDrive mit 258 PS und 400 Nm Drehmoment. Die Kraftübertragung erfolgt über den Allradantrieb, perfekt für lange Fahrten mit Stil. Produziert wird der XL-X3 durch das Joint Venture BMW Brilliance Automotive in Shenyang.
Zusätzliche Highlights: Panorama-Glasdach, M-Sportpaket und eine kabellose Ladestation in der Mittelarmlehne. Komfortkissen sowie eine individuell einstellbare Skylounge-Beleuchtung runden das Premium-Gesamtpaket ab.

00:11Even before the new BMW X3, internally designated G45, officially hits the market, a second variant is already being introduced, the long wheelbase version G46, which was developed specifically for the Chinese market.
00:24For the first time in China, the X3 will have a wheelbase that has been extended by 11 cm, giving the vehicle an overall length of almost 4.87 m.
00:35The width is 1.90 m and the wheelbase has increased to almost 2.89 m.
00:41The design of the XL X3, as it is called, is tailored to the needs of Chinese customers.
00:46In China, iconic glow contour lighting for the BMW kidney grille is standard equipment and there are five metallic paint finishes to choose from.
00:55The basic model of the X325LX drive comes as standard with the M Sport package, in which many add-on parts are finished in the body color and contrasted with bronze colored accents.
01:07The higher quality variant of the X330LS drive, on the other hand, presents itself with predominantly black surface finishes.
01:17Inside, passengers in the rear seats benefit from the extended wheelbase and enjoy particularly generous legroom.
01:24The front seats are equipped with comfort cushions and a center armrest as standard, in which smartphones can be charged wirelessly.
01:32A panoramic glass roof with optional Skylounge lighting creates an open feeling of space and enables atmospheric lighting effects in several colors and with modern graphics.
01:43The first row offers the latest BMW ambience with a curved display that combines a 12.3-inch driver information monitor with a 14.9-inch infotainment screen.
01:57The entire system runs on the new BMW OS operating system and is complemented by the interaction bar.

02:26Under the hood of the long Chinese X3 is always a two-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with all-wheel drive.
02:35The basic version of the X325LX drive delivers 190 horsepower and a maximum torque of 310 Nm.
02:43The high-performance variant of the X325LX drive achieves 258hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm.
02:52In both cases, an 8-speed automatic transmission takes care of the power transmission.
02:57For those who want even more power, the new X3 will also be launched in China as the M50IC drive.
03:03However, this sporty mild hybrid version with a three-liter six-cylinder engine is only available with a short wheelbase.
03:12It is produced at the U.S. plant in Spartanburg and exported from there to China.
03:18There is no precise information yet about the market launch and prices.
03:22The current X3 discontinued model starts in China at 399,600 yuan, which equates to around 51,000 euros.
03:30Given the longer wheelbase and the more luxurious overall concept, the new addition is likely to be more expensive.
03:39The first long wheelbase version of the X3 with the internal shortening of 46 will join the extended versions of the X1 and X5 and will be offered exclusively in China and built locally.
03:51With its new size, it fits seamlessly into the portfolio for Chinese customers.
03:55Interestingly, the Chinese X3 is only about 6 centimeters shorter than the current X5 with a regular wheelbase.
04:05As usual, the main benefit of the growth lies in the improved comfort for the passengers.
04:10Longer doors make it easier to get in and the more generous space turns the second row of the BMW X3 into a spacious lounge.
04:17Comfort features on the headrests and a special center armrest with integrated wireless charging function for smartphones provide additional comfort.
04:28There is no choice of drive for the long wheelbase version.
04:32It is only available as the BMW X330L Corner X Drive, i.e. with the 258-horsepower turbo four-cylinder B48.
04:40Just like the long wheelbase version, this drive is also not available for European customers.
04:46In Europe, the G45 will only be available as a base petrol X320, a four-cylinder diesel 20D, a plug-in hybrid 30E and a top-of-the-range X3M50.
