00:00Welcome to the video from AutoMagazin Tuning Blog about the 2026 Honda Accord Facelift.
00:13As always, you can find the link to read the article in our magazine in the video description.
00:19Honda didn't wait long to give its mid-range model an update for the Chinese market.
00:24Although the 11th generation of the Accord has only been on sale there for less than two years,
00:30the sedan has already received a visual refresh.
00:34The changes are focused exclusively on the front end, but still ensure a more striking appearance overall.
00:43The revised headlights retain their original shape, but the internal lighting modules have been modified.
00:49Particularly noticeable is that the LED daytime running lights now extend further to the edges of the radiator grille.
00:57A small but welcome detail is the disappearance of the previously installed orange reflectors,
01:03which previously did not exactly flatter the design.
01:07The new radiator grille relies on a simple but precise pattern of 19 silver horizontal slats,
01:13while the front bumper has a sportier design with more pronounced angles.
01:20At the rear, however, everything remains the same,
01:23so that the sedan is still equipped with the familiar taillights and a continuous LED light strip.
01:30There are also no innovations in the interior,
01:33so that the large 15-inch infotainment screen
01:36and the digital instrument cluster remain among the highlights.
01:40A small, circular control surface with a rotary control is located below the air vents.
01:48Under the hood, everything also remains the same.
01:51There are two engine options to choose from.
01:53A turbocharged 1.5-liter petrol engine with 189 HHN speeder
01:57and 260 Nm of torque and a 2.0-liter.
02:01Plug-in hybrid with 181 HHN speeder and 335 Nm.
02:06The hybrid variant enables a purely electric range of 106 km.
02:14It is currently unclear whether these changes will also be adopted for the Global Accord.
02:20Honda is keeping quiet about this,
02:22and given the rather restrained modifications,
02:25a worldwide rollout is by no means guaranteed.
02:27In China, the Accord also competes with the Inspire,
02:32a virtually identical model with a different front and rear design,
02:36which is produced by Honda's second Chinese partner Dongfeng.
02:40The Inspire is also available as both a classic combustion engine and a plug-in hybrid.
