00:00Welcome to the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:11Today, we'll show you the 10 most popular Chinese cars that will really take off in Germany in 2024.
00:18The best-selling Chinese electric car in Germany.
00:20With an impressive 11,000 new registrations in the first few months of 2024,
00:31the MG4 Electric has firmly established itself in 5th place in German electric car sales,
00:37making it the most successful electric vehicle from China on the German market.
00:44The 4.90 meters long compact car, known in China as the MJ Mulan,
00:49was first launched in September 2022 and is manufactured by the renowned Chinese SAR IC Group,
00:55which has also included the former British brand MG since 2008.
01:00The MG Electric is based on C's innovative modular scalable platform,
01:04which enables flexible and efficient production.
01:09The MG4 Electric compresses with its sporty design,
01:13which can be recognized by the striking, jagged front with large air intakes.
01:19A striking roof spoiler and black sill trims give the 1.50 meters tall model an athletic appearance,
01:25while the interior of the vehicle is understated and elegantly designed.
01:29In total, 5 different versions of the MG4 Electric are offered,
01:35including 4 rear-wheel drive and 1 all-wheel drive variant.
01:39The basic version, also known as the standard,
01:42is equipped with a 125 kW engine and has a 51 kWh battery,
01:47which enables a range of up to 350 kilometers.
01:50For those who want a bit more power and range,
01:54the RWD variant's comfort and luxury each offer a more powerful 150 kW engine
01:59and a larger 62 kWh battery,
02:02which offers an impressive range of up to 450 kilometers.
02:09These two versions differ mainly in the equipment,
02:11with the luxury variant offering additional comfort and technology features.
02:15The extended-range variant of the MG4 Electric is equipped with a 180 kW hoe drive
02:24and has a generous battery capacity of 77 kWh gross or 77.4 kWh net,
02:31which enables a WLTP range of 520 kilometers.
02:34For those looking for maximum performance,
02:39the X-Power is the most powerful version of the MG4 Electric.
02:44Equipped with a powerful all-wheel drive system that delivers 320 kW,
02:49this version has been configurable since the beginning of 2024
02:52and is aimed at drivers who do not want to compromise on performance.
02:55Following a price increase in spring 2023,
03:00prices for the MG4 Electric now start at just under âŹ35,000.
03:07A particular highlight of the vehicle is the recuperation function,
03:10which can be set to low, medium, high and adaptive levels via the touchscreen.
03:16In high mode, which serves as the starting mode,
03:19you can get by with almost no brake pedal in the city,
03:21even if the car does not offer true one-wheel drive to a standstill.
03:27A crawling gear with a range of around 5 km per hour
03:30still ensures comfortable driving in urban areas.
03:35The batteries of the MG4 Electric use prismatic cells from KL
03:38while the basic model uses a lithium-iron phosphate chemistry, LFP.
03:43The large battery uses a nickel-manganese-cobalt chemistry, NMC,
03:47which offers a higher energy density and therefore a longer range.
03:51When charging, the MG4 Electric offers a charging capacity
03:57of up to 11 kW AC and an impressive 135 kW DC in the higher-end versions.
04:04This allows the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in just 35 minutes.
04:09According to the datasheet,
04:11a maximum AC charging capacity of 6.6 kW is possible in the basic model,
04:16which indicates single-phase or two-phase charging.
04:19However, due to the unbalanced load regulation in Germany,
04:23the actual charging capacity could be somewhat lower.
04:27Nevertheless, the battery can be fully charged overnight in around 7.5 hours,
04:32which makes everyday life much easier.
04:35The MG4 Electric is entering the market against strong competitors
04:38such as the VWi D3, the Renault Megane,
04:41the Opel Astra Electric and the Volvo EX30.
04:44The technical data of the MG4 Electric is very similar to that of the VWi D3,
04:51which indicates that the MG4 was specifically positioned as an alternative to this model.
04:56In our tests, we have already compared the MG4 Electric with the VWi D3,
05:01but still with the older generation of the i D3.
05:03This showed that the MG4 is similar to the VWi D3 in many areas.
05:10The MG4 only has some catching up to do in terms of maximum range.
05:15Even the 77 kWh version cannot quite reach the impressive 559 km of the i D3 Pro S in terms of price,
05:23the two models are now at a similar level.
05:25The basic pro version of the AD3 and the comparable MG4 Electric Comfort in terms of performance each cost around âŹ40,000.
05:36We tested the MG4 Electric in December 2023 and were impressed by the luxury version we drove.
05:44The car appears agile and the chassis is excellently tuned with just a hint of hardness,
05:49which is hardly noticeable.
05:51The charging test also went very well.
05:53In the range from 8% to 80% state of charge,
05:57the MG4 achieved an average charging power of 105 kW,
06:01which enables fast and efficient charging.
06:06However, there is still room for improvement in the assistance systems and the displays,
06:10some of which are illegible or poorly translated.
06:15However, it is possible that MG has already fixed these details with overt updates.
06:23The 2025 SUV has not only received a fresh exterior design,
06:31but also impresses with an improved hybrid system,
06:34which takes it to a new technical level.
06:38The prices for the redesigned Lincoln Kona 1 are now known for the German market.
06:42The core variant starts at âŹ42,995, while the more variant is available from âŹ46,995.
06:53In addition, there will once again be a subscription model,

07:13both in local clubs and online at Lincoln Kona 1.

07:30and supports the brand's plan to build an extensive dealer network in Europe.

07:39which combines its own locations with strategic partnerships
07:42to improve accessibility, diversify sales channels and expand service points.
07:50The new, improved version of the O1 plug-in hybrid impresses
07:53with both refined design updates and innovative technical improvements.
07:59Lincoln County has taken into account feedback from its customer base
08:03to further optimize the vehicle.
08:05The exterior appearance of the 901 has been enhanced
08:09with targeted design optimizations.
08:10The SUV now features a glossy black grille,
08:15new wheels and modern LED taillights.
08:19The expanded color palette includes the new colors crystal white,
08:23sparkling black and mineral green metallic,
08:26which give the vehicle a fresh and appealing look.
08:30Inside, Lincoln Co. rely on advanced infotainment technology.
08:34The system has been optimized for faster response times
08:38and now offers a high-resolution driver display
08:41and a 15.4-inch HD touchscreen.
08:45A powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 851 chip ensures improved performance
08:50and a smooth user experience.
08:53In addition, physical controls have been integrated into the steering wheel,
08:58which are designed to allow drivers to always keep their eyes on the road.
09:01A key element of the new O1 is the advanced plug-in hybrid powertrain concept,
09:07which increases both performance and efficiency.
09:12With a combined output of 206 horsepower, 276 horsepower and 535 newton meters of torque,
09:19the SUV offers better acceleration and more agile handling on the road.
09:23Fuel consumption has been further reduced,
09:28which underlines the vehicle's environmental credentials.
09:33According to Lincoln & Cole,
09:35these improvements emphasize the O1 as a bridge to an all-electric future
09:39with a near-silent all-electric range of up to 45 miles for the daily commute.
09:43Lincoln Company sees itself not only as an automobile company,
09:51but also as a mobility provider that pursues flexibility as its core principle.
09:57With a diverse range of ownership models,
09:59from subscriptions to leasing to purchase,
10:01Lincoln Company aims to be at the forefront of the car-sharing movement.
10:04These versatile offerings make the new Lincoln Canon 1 an attractive option
10:12for a wide range of customer needs
10:14and underscore the brand's commitment
10:15to providing innovative and flexible mobility solutions.

19:27steering wheel,
19:28there are only
19:29a few buttons.
19:31The center console
19:32impresses
19:32with a high-quality
19:33row of toggle switches,
19:34which creates
19:35an elegant ambience.
19:38The two
19:38high-resolution
19:39digital displays
19:40offer an excellent
19:41user experience,
19:42while the innovative
19:43voice control
19:44supported by
19:44artificial intelligence
19:46surprises with
19:46its functions.
19:50For example,
19:51the Oron O3
19:52starts a quiz
19:53when you say,
19:54I'm bored,
19:55or regulates
19:55the windows
19:56to prevent
19:56drafts
19:57while driving.
20:00The Oron O3
20:01also offers
20:02exceptional extras
20:03in its class,
20:04such as air-conditioned
20:05massage seats
20:06and an infotainment
20:07system with
20:07permanent online
20:08access via
20:09a separate
20:09SIM card.
20:11Safety is a top
20:13priority for the
20:13GWM Oron O3,
20:15as the Eurocap
20:16crash test proves.
20:18The Oron O3
20:18received the
20:19maximum rating
20:20of five stars.
20:21Particularly
20:22noteworthy are
20:23the occupant
20:23protection for adults
20:24with 92%
20:25and the assistance
20:26systems with 93%.
20:28Child protection
20:30is also at a
20:31high level
20:32with 83%,
20:33while pedestrian
20:34protection lags
20:34slightly behind
20:35at 74%.
20:36The GWM Oron O3
20:39has been available
20:40on the German market
20:41since 2023
20:42and starts at a price
20:43of 26,990 euros.
20:46Despite the renaming
20:47from Oron Funky Cat
20:48to GWM Oron O3,
20:50the impressive
20:51technology of this
20:52electric compact car
20:53remains unchanged.
21:00The Zarin One,
21:01which will first
21:02be available in
21:03Europe in 2023,
21:04is receiving a
21:05comprehensive update
21:06that will initially
21:07be released on the
21:08Chinese market,
21:09but will probably
21:10soon also be
21:10available in Europe.
21:14Zekir,
21:15a brand under
21:15the parent company
21:16Gilly,
21:17is positioning itself
21:18as an electric
21:18luxury label
21:19with the aim of
21:20competing with
21:20giants such as Tesla.
21:24The facelift of
21:26the Zier 001
21:27brings numerous
21:27improvements,
21:28especially in the
21:29drive technology.
21:31While the exact
21:32performance data
21:33has not yet been
21:34released by Zier,
21:35the new version
21:36is expected to be
21:37slightly higher than
21:38the previous
21:38271 horsepower
21:40electric motors.
21:42The Zier 001
21:44will continue to be
21:45available both with
21:46both rear wheel
21:47and all-wheel drive,
21:48with a dual-motor
21:49configuration delivering
21:50a system output
21:51of 544 horsepower.
21:55The facelift will
21:56be available in
21:57single and dual-motor
21:58variants,
21:58with the dual-motor
21:59version's improved
22:00acceleration to 100
22:01kilometers per hour
22:02of 3.3 seconds
22:04indicating increased
22:05performance.
22:08Particularly impressive
22:09is the sports
22:10variant,
22:11the Zekir 001
22:12FR,
22:12which is equipped
22:13with four E engines
22:14and achieves an
22:15impressive output
22:16of 247 horsepower.
22:21This variant
22:22sprints to 100
22:23kilometers per hour
22:24in just 2.37
22:25seconds and reaches
22:26a top speed of up
22:27to 280 kilometers per
22:29hour, making it a
22:30serious competitor to
22:31the Tesla Model S.
22:32The range of the
22:33sports variant is an
22:34impressive 550 kilometers.
22:36The starting price for the
22:41Zekir 001 facelift in
22:43China is around 34,600
22:45euros for the dual-motor
22:46version, while the
22:47sporty FR variant has
22:49been available since
22:49October 2023 for around
22:5197,800 euros.
22:56These prices reflect the
22:57high-quality equipment and
22:58advanced technology that
23:00Zier has integrated this
23:01technology into its
23:02vehicles.
23:03The ranges of the
23:05facelift are also
23:05impressive.
23:07Up to 675 kilometers for
23:09the dual-motor version and
23:11up to 750 kilometers for
23:13the single-motor version.
23:16Although the battery
23:17capacities were not
23:18explicitly mentioned, an
23:19800-volt system is used,
23:21which enables up to 256
23:23kilometers of range to be
23:24recharged in just 5 minutes.
23:28Compared to the previous
23:29model, which used batteries
23:31with 86 ampere hours and
23:32100 ampere hours, the
23:34facelift shows a
23:35significant improvement in
23:36charging speed and
23:37efficiency.
23:39Visually, the Zier 001
23:42facelift has received some
23:43subtle but striking
23:44changes.
23:46The front apron has been
23:48slightly toned down, while
23:49the civilian version adopts
23:51the dynamic lines of the
23:52sporty FR without the
23:53protruding carbon spoilers.
23:57The characteristic canines
23:59at the front are retained, as
24:00are the applied daytime running
24:01lights, the continuous light
24:03strip at the rear and the
24:04retractable door handles.
24:07These elements give the
24:09vehicle a modern and elegant
24:10appearance.
24:11The dimensions of the vehicle
24:13remain the same at around 5
24:14meters long, 2 meters wide and
24:161.5 meters high.
24:18The ZAKAR-001 facelift remains
24:20virtually unchanged, ensuring a
24:22confident presence on the road.
24:24Inside, the ZAKAR-001
24:26facelift combines luxury with
24:28functionality.
24:30Although no detailed
24:31information or images of the
24:32new interior have been
24:33released yet, the design will
24:35likely be based on the
24:36previous model.
24:40The interior is uncluttered and
24:42spacious with a curved cockpit
24:44finished in high-quality
24:45materials.
24:46A small display is located behind the
24:51steering wheel, while a large
24:52central touchscreen at the height of
24:54the center console controls the
24:55vehicle.
24:59The ZAKAR-001 offers five seats,
25:02although the rapidly sloping roof
25:03line in the second row of seats
25:05could limit headroom somewhat.
25:08The facelift also has a lot to offer
25:10in terms of technology.
25:11An expanded range of assistance
25:15systems increases safety and
25:16comfort, while the new eye-based
25:18infotainment system with improved
25:20voice recognition and eye movement
25:21control creates a modern and
25:23intuitive driving experience.
25:28The chassis of the entry-level model
25:30retains classic coil springs, while
25:32the higher-spec variants are equipped
25:34with an air suspension.
25:37This combination of ride comfort and
25:40sporty road-holding is achieved by the
25:41long wheelbase of 3 meters and the
25:43100 kilowatts battery located in the
25:45underbody, which ensures stability.
25:50Safety remains a central issue with
25:52systems that reliably keep the vehicle
25:54on track even in dynamically driven
25:56curves.
25:59In summary, it can be said that the
26:01ZAKAR-001 facelift 2024 is an
26:04impressive upgrade for an already
26:06strong electric shooting brake.
26:10With improved performance data, longer
26:12range, modernized design elements and a
26:14luxurious interior, ZR sets new
26:17standards in the field of
26:18electromobility.
26:22In view of these developments, the
26:24facelift will meet with great
26:25interest both in China and in Europe and
26:27will represent a serious alternative to
26:29established brands such as Tesla.
26:30Today we will introduce you to the new
26:40plug-in hybrid SUV from the Chinese
26:42manufacturer war, which is coming to the
26:44German market with impressive technical
26:45data, a wide range of features and an
26:48attractive price-performance ratio.
26:52Chinese car brands are becoming
26:53increasingly present on European roads and
26:55in addition to names such as I-Waze,
26:57BYD or Neo, Great Wall Motor GVM is now
27:00also bringing its Wee brand to Germany.
27:03With the Coffee Note 1, Way presents an
27:06SUV that is not impresses not only with
27:08its size, but above all with its inner
27:10values.
27:12The Y Coffee Note 1 measures an
27:14impressive 4.87 meters in length and is
27:16therefore positioned between midsize and
27:18luxury SUVs, comparable in size to a Kia
27:21Sorento.
27:22But what really sets it apart from the crowd
27:25is its exceptionally large high-capacity
27:27battery with a capacity of 39.7
27:30kilowatt-hours.
27:31By way of comparison, the Mercedes GLE 350D,
27:35which is already known for its large plug-in
27:37battery, has a capacity of 31.2 kilowatt-hours.
27:41Thanks to this battery, Wee claims an
27:43impressive electric range of 146 kilometers
27:46according to WLTP.
27:47Another highlight is the ability to charge
27:51the battery via a DC charging port with
27:53up to 50 kilowatts.
27:56This is not a given for plug-in hybrids and
27:58allows the large battery to be recharged
28:00in a short time.
28:03Under the hood is a Miller Cycle turbocharged
28:06gasoline engine, which is combined with an
28:08electric motor and a new dual-clutch
28:10transmission.
28:10Particularly noteworthy is that the rear axle is
28:16driven by an additional electric motor with a
28:18dual gearbox.
28:21This concept not only enables a stronger
28:23acceleration, but also higher speeds in pure
28:25electric mode.
28:28The engineers that we speak of over 200 kilometers
28:30per hour that can be achieved with gentle
28:32acceleration.
28:33In practice, the Coffee 01 accelerates from 0 to
28:38100 kilometers per hour in electric mode in just
28:41over 7 seconds.
28:43For a plug-in hybrid of this size, that is
28:46impressive.
28:49However, if you press the accelerator pedal all the
28:51way to the stop, the combustion engine automatically
28:54switches on to provide maximum power for overtaking
28:56maneuvers or spontaneous acceleration.
28:58This function makes sense for safety reasons, but
29:03could be fine-tuned.
29:06The total system output of the Wild Coffee
29:08Nun 1 is an impressive 476 horsepower.
29:11The electric motors produce 120 kilowatts, 135
29:14kilowatts, while the gasoline engine contributes
29:17204 horsepower to the total output.
29:20The system torque of 847 newtons of torque ensures
29:23powerful propulsion.
29:26In hybrid mode, the Coffee 01 accelerates from
29:280 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.0 seconds and
29:32reaches a top speed of 235 kilometers per hour.
29:38Despite these impressive figures, acceleration in
29:41sport mode does not always feel as powerful as one
29:43might expect.
29:46Occasionally, the system needs a moment to provide
29:49full power, especially when accelerating abruptly.
29:53In everyday use, the transmission usually operates
29:55smoothly and unobtrusively.
29:57However, slight jerks can occur under high load.
30:00The shift paddles on the steering wheel react with a delay,
30:03which makes them less suitable for dynamic driving.
30:07In terms of driving dynamics, the weight of around 2.4 tons
30:10is noticeable.
30:12The chassis with passive shock absorbers and steel springs
30:15is clearly designed for comfort, which is at the expense of
30:18sportiness.
30:18It lacks precision in corners and the steering offers little feedback.
30:23In addition, the recessed grips behind the steering wheel memory are
30:28ergonomically suboptimal, which becomes annoying at larger steering
30:31angles.
30:32The Coffee 01, on the other hand, scores with high-ride comfort.
30:37The chassis usually irons out unevenness with ease and body
30:40movements generally remain moderate.
30:44On undulating roads, however, the vehicle can occasionally tend to rock.
30:49The seats are comfortably padded and offer good support, even though the
30:52basic model lacks adjustable lumbar support.
30:54The interior is of high quality and impresses with attractive materials.
31:01The dashboard looks elegant, even if slight vibrations are occasionally
31:05noticeable.
31:07The noise insulation is good overall.
31:10Only the tire noise penetrates the interior a little more clearly.
31:14The infotainment system is operated via a 14.6-inch touchscreen, which
31:18responds quickly to inputs.
31:21The menus are logically structured, but operation requires
31:24attention, as many important functions are hidden in submenus.
31:30There is no traditional climate control unit, so the temperature and fan
31:34speed have to be adjusted using two fingers, which can be distracting
31:37while driving.
31:41An interesting feature of the Y Coffee 01 is the sensor system with camera
31:45mounted on the A-pillar, which monitors the driver and warns in the event
31:48of inattention.
31:51If you look at the screen or the exterior mirror for too long, you will
31:54first hear a voice prompt, followed by a gentle tug on the seatbelt.
31:59This function can be deactivated if required.
32:04Regenerative braking can be set to three levels, but only via the infotainment menu.
32:08Even at the highest level, the vehicle does not decelerate sufficiently to enable one-wheel
32:14driving.
32:17A positive feature is the seamless transfer of recuperation to the mechanical brake,
32:21which enables smooth stopping.
32:23The Coffee Note 1 offers numerous assistance systems, including active lane guidance, which works
32:30reliably on motorways.
32:33On winding country roads, the system deactivates itself when the driver makes minor corrections.
32:39However, it reactivates shortly afterwards, accompanied by voice output.
32:42The adaptive cruise control can only be set in 5-hour-kilometer increments, which somewhat limits precision.
32:51The extensive standard equipment includes matrix LED headlights, 21-inch rims, a head-up display
32:57and a high-quality sound system from Infiniti.
33:00Added to this is a DC charging port and various camera systems.
33:05With a starting price of âŹ55,900, the Coffee Note 1 is attractively positioned.
33:11For comparison, a Kia Sorento plug-in hybrid is similarly priced, but offers less power and a significantly
33:17lower battery capacity of 30.8 kW compared to the 39.7 kWh this way.
33:23In the Euro NCAP crash test, the Coffee Note 1 received 5 stars and impressed with a rating
33:30of 91% for occupant protection for adults and 87% for children.
33:37In the rear, passengers enjoy plenty of head, leg and foot space, while the low height of
33:42the center tunnel offers additional comfort in the middle seat.
33:48Minor defects were identified during the test drives, including an unmotivated engine control
33:53symbol and a washer fluid system that only weakly reached the lower part of the window.
33:59Whether this is due to isolated cases or teething problems remains to be seen.
34:05Interested parties can experience the White Coffee 0-1 until the end of the first quarter
34:09of 2023 in around 60 car dealerships of the Emil Freigroup.
34:13The vehicles are also serviced there.
34:17In conclusion, it can be said that the White Coffee 1 is an exciting new addition to the German
34:22car market.
34:25With its impressive electric range, extensive equipment and attractive price, it offers
34:30an interesting alternative to established brands.
34:40Today, it's all about the BD-Ato 3.
34:43Before we start, remember to subscribe so you don't miss any exciting content.
34:47The BD-Ato 3 is a real highlight among all electric compact SUVs.
34:54The vehicle delivers a remarkable output of 204 horsepower to the road, which is more than
34:59impressive for a compact SUV of this size.
35:03Its range of up to 420 kilometers makes it a reliable companion not only for the city,
35:08but also for longer distances.
35:09The powerful front-wheel drive with 150 kilowatts ensures that you have enough power, no matter
35:17what terrain you are driving on.
35:20A special highlight of the BD-Ato 3 is its innovative infotainment system.
35:25The rotatable 12.8-inch screen not only fits perfectly into the stylish interior, but also
35:33offers you all the information and entertainment you need while driving.
35:37Combined with the panoramic glass roof, it creates a feeling of freedom and a wide view,
35:42which further enhances the driving experience.
35:46BYD has also done everything right with this model in terms of safety.
35:49In the aero and cap safety tests, the Ato 3 received a full 5 stars.
35:55Thanks to numerous assistance systems such as lane departure warning and automatic emergency
35:59braking ensure you are optimally protected on every journey.
36:03The interior of the BYD-3 is not only functional, but also stylish and comfortable.
36:10It features sophisticated fitness and music design elements that lend the whole thing a fresh
36:14and dynamic touch.
36:15Added to this is the high-quality workmanship, which clearly elevates the Ato 3 into the league
36:21of premium electric vehicles.
36:24The battery can be charged from 30 to 80% in just 29 minutes, which offers you a lot of
36:29flexibility and independence.
36:32So you don't have to worry about long charging times.
36:35And now the best part, the BYD Ato 3 has become even more attractive thanks to a price reduction.
36:41The model originally cost 44,625 euros as a Comfort Tran variant.
36:49It is now available from 37,900 euros.
36:53That's almost 7,000 euros less.
36:57This makes BYD not only extremely competitive in terms of price, but also offers greater benefits
37:02compared to the VW ID.4.
37:04While the ID.4 offers less range and engine power, the 3 scores with outstanding performance.
37:10The complete package.
37:16Anyone looking for a powerful, comfortable and affordable electric SUV should definitely
37:21consider the BYD Ato 3.
37:23Since 2023, NIO has been competing with market leaders such as the Tesla Model S and the Mercedes
37:29EQS with the high-tech sedan ET7.
37:32The purchase prices for Germany have finally been set.
37:40The ET7 starts at 96,900 euros and offers a range of up to 580 kilometers, depending on
37:47the selected battery capacity.
37:48Up to now, NIO had limited its range to SUVs, but with the ET7, the Chinese company is expanding
37:56its portfolio to include an elegant sedan that is clearly positioned as a flagship.
38:02With a length of just over 5 meters, the ET7 competes directly with established models such
38:07as the Tesla Model S, the Mercedes IQ and EQS, and the Porsche Tayan.
38:14The design of the IT7 is deliberately restrained and also impresses with an excellent drag coefficient
38:20of 0.21, which is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also aerodynamically efficient.
38:25The NIO ET7 is only available with all-wheel drive, realized by two powerful electric motors.
38:35A 180 kW motor provides the drive at the front axle, while a third unit supplements the power
38:41at the rear.
38:43Together, this results in an impressive system output of 480 kW.
38:48That corresponds to 653 hp.
38:50The maximum torque is an impressive 850 Nm, which gives the ET7 impressive acceleration.
38:59NIO promises a time of just 3.8 seconds for the standard sprint, a real powerhouse on the roads.
39:07The dimensions of the ET7 are equally impressive with an overall length of 5,098 millimeters,
39:13a wheelbase of 360 millimeters and a width of 197 millimeters.
39:17The sedan offers generous space for the driver and passengers.
39:23The interior design in particular focuses on minimalism and high comfort.
39:29Sustainable materials such as renewable rattan and karu characterize the interior and create
39:33a pleasant and environmentally friendly atmosphere.
39:38Decorative elements made of karun lend the interior a natural elegance, while the generous
39:42space both in the front and in the back ensures a comfortable ride.
39:45A special highlight of the ET7 is the digital assistant NOMI, which is integrated as a small
39:53display face in the center console and communicates interactively with the passengers.
40:00The vehicle is controlled via a 12.8-inch touchscreen, which can be operated intuitively.
40:05Thanks to the 1.9-square-meter panoramic screen, the rear passengers also have a clear view of the sky,
40:13which makes the driving experience even more pleasant.
40:17The first 7.14-inch sound system to be installed in a car also provides an impressive audio experience
40:23while driving.
40:23Another exciting feature of the ET7 is the battery technology.
40:29The basic model is equipped with a 75 kWh battery, which provides a range of 385 to 445 km according to WLTP.
40:38The 100 kW version extends this range to an impressive 505 to 580 km.
40:44In the future, NIO is even planning a completely new 150 kWh battery, which should enable a range of over 1,000 km.
40:56A special feature of the ET7 is the ability to swap batteries at NIO's unique battery swapping stations.
41:04NIO also announced that the ET7 will be equipped with solid-state batteries in the future,
41:09which can achieve an energy density of up to 360 Watt-hours per kilogram.
41:15This is around 40% more than the batteries currently available from Tesla.
41:21NIO is also setting the highest standards in terms of technology.
41:26The ET7 is equipped with four orange chips from NVIDIA,
41:30which enable a computing power of 20-16 tensor operations per second.
41:35These chips are the heart of the new onboard computer, which NIO calls Atom.
41:39NIO is breaking new ground in autonomous driving with the ET7.
41:44The vehicle is currently at level 2 autonomy,
41:47and the hardware for at least level 3 is already installed and generously dimensioned.
41:54In addition to a laser sensor in the watchtower position above the windshield,
41:58the ET7 has 11 video cameras with a resolution of 8 megapixels,
42:02which is a significant advantage compared to the 1.2 megapixels of Tesla's cameras.
42:09The entire system, which NIO calls Aquila,
42:12is said to be available for a monthly rental fee of around 90 euros according to the original announcement.
42:18Prices and battery models also vary.
42:21NIO charges at least 6,900 euros for the ET7 in Germany,
42:25and this does not include the battery.
42:27The 75 kWh battery can be purchased for either a one-time payment of 12,000 euros or a monthly rental fee of 169 euros.
42:39The 100 kWh energy storage system costs a one-time fee of 21,000 euros or 89 euros twice a month.
42:45However, only tenants of the 75 kWh version currently have the option of swapping the batteries at the power swap stations.
42:56ET7 customers also benefit from several privileges that sometimes cost extra for other NIO models.
43:01A lifetime warranty, a free wall box for home use, a lifetime charging service, a lifetime mobility guarantee and lifetime online functionalities.
43:13The first impression of the NIO ET7 in the design studio is overwhelming.
43:17The comm lines of the over 5 meters long sedan cleverly combine the typical brand face with split headlight units at the front with a low hatchback body.
43:30Despite the flat roofline, the ET7 retains a classic boot lid, which lends the sedan timeless elegance.
43:38For hobby holiers, the limited variability of the rear seat backrests may be a disadvantage.
43:43However, the hatch to the front offers a practical solution for transporting ski equipment or golf clubs.
43:52When entering the ET7, the electrically extendable door handles are impressive,
43:57which merge seamlessly into the frameless side windows and open the way into the interior.
44:05There is generous space for legs and shoulders in the rear,
44:08although headroom can be somewhat restricted due to the flat roofline, especially for taller people.
44:13The increased interior height under the panoramic glass roof, however, creates an airy sense of space up front,
44:22while the cockpit is deliberately flat and understated.
44:27The air vents are discreetly hidden in the dashboard, giving the interior a clean and minimalist look.
44:32The sustainable karoon material, which looks like wood fiber, offers a pleasant feel and underlines the ET7's environmentally friendly concept.
44:42The technical displays, including a 10.8-inch display behind the two-spoke steering wheel and a large 12.8-inch monitor in the center console,
44:53are easy to read and intuitive to use.
44:57The AI-supported voice assistant Nomi contributes to user-friendliness by taking over simple tasks such as playing music
45:03and occasionally waving friendly in the driver's direction.
45:09In conclusion, the NIO ET7 electric sedan offers an impressive package of performance, technology and design.
45:16With its long-range, advanced battery technologies and numerous comfort features,
45:23it sets new standards in the electric sedan segment.
45:28The collaboration with NVIDIA and the innovative approaches in the field of autonomous driving show that NIO is ready to assert itself in a highly competitive market.
45:36The X-P7 is a real eye-catcher.
45:45No matter where you show up with this car, it attracts attention.
45:50People stop, ask questions and admire the elegant design.
45:55From the impressive light strip at the front to the dynamic lines of the body, the P7 really has it all.
46:02In the wing edition with goal-wing doors and in a striking poisonous green,
46:06the car becomes a real star on the streets.
46:09But it's not just the looks that impress, it's also the quality.
46:15XP, a still young company from China,
46:18has managed to build a car that doesn't have to hide from the established brands.
46:23There are no cheap materials, no weaknesses in the workmanship.
46:27Both the exterior and the interior feel high quality and well thought out.
46:32But how does the XPeng P7 drive?
46:34With its 473 horsepower in the performance version, it sprints to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.1 seconds.
46:44The car sits firmly on the road and gives you a feeling of safety even at high speeds.
46:49And best of all, it remains pleasantly quiet in the interior, even at over 150 kilometers per hour.
46:54This quietness and the comfortable premium seats make even long journeys a pleasure.
47:01The range of around 450 kilometers is also more than sufficient for everyday use and the battery charges from 10 to 80% in just 27 minutes at a fast charging station.
47:11Sure, that may not be quite as fast as the latest models with 800-volt technology, but it is still impressively good.
47:21Of course, the P7 also has some weaknesses.
47:25The assistance systems and the software in particular are not yet fully developed.
47:29There are small but annoying details, such as the beeping when the speed limit is slightly exceeded or the sign recognition that sometimes strays from the lane.
47:38But the good thing about modern electric cars is that these problems can often be fixed with a simple software update and we hope that XP takes advantage of this opportunity.
47:50Despite these minor flaws, there's only one thing you can say about the XP-P.
47:55Hats off to it, because what really counts is the driving experience, the workmanship and the range, all of that.
48:00And if X-Bang manages to expand its dealer network in Germany even further, the P7 could become a real alternative to established electric cars like Tesla or VW.
48:19Today, everything revolves around the impressive Link Code Z10 electric sedan, the new top model from the Chinese-Swedish manufacturer.
48:26Linkin Company, a joint venture between the Gilly Group and its Swedish subsidiary Volvo, has launched its first all-electric vehicle with the Z10, setting new standards in terms of range and charging capacity.
48:44While the Link01 SUV is only available as a plug-in hybrid in Germany so far and has enjoyed moderate success, the brand is now planning to significantly expand its portfolio in Europe.
48:54The Z10 was recently unveiled at a presentation in Volvo's home city of Gothenburg.
49:01The name is derived from the English word zero.
49:07Linkin County wants this zero to not only stand for zero-emission drive, but also to be understood as an abbreviation for goal, zeal, enjoyment, responsibility and originality.
49:17At 5.3 meters long, almost 2 meters wide and 1.47 meters high, the Z10 presents itself as a stately vehicle.
49:32The 3 meters wheelbase ensures a stable and comfortable ride, while the drag coefficient of 0.198 puts the Z10 in the league of aerodynamic world champions such as the Lucid Air and Mercedes EQS.
49:43The design of the electric sedan is based on the concept study the next day, which was presented in the summer of 2022.
49:53In contrast to the concept, which still relied on a hybrid drive, the Z10 is now fully electric and designed to be more suitable for everyday use.
50:04Examples of this are the classic exterior mirrors and the door handles integrated flush into the body, which underline the practicality of the vehicle.
50:13The front of the Z10 is largely closed and is dominated by a transparent horizontal element with LED spotlights, which separates the steeply rising back area from the apron.
50:27In the center of the front is an air intake with active aero grills, which is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
50:33The headlights are designed as narrow vertical bars and provide a striking styling element, especially in the exterior variants.
50:44The window line, which bends upwards in the middle of the rear doors, is reminiscent of the original concept, but now has a more classic design.
50:51The wheels combine metallic gloss with a black look, which gives the vehicle a modern and elegant look.
51:01Above the windshield is a central knob that houses various driver assistance sensors, in particular the charger sensor system.
51:07The flow ends in a striking spoiler lip with an active spoiler, while the taillights are designed as a continuous strip.
51:18Two lighting elements are highlighted on each side, which visually taper towards the center of the vehicle and thus represent an additional styling feature.
51:26The link and co-lettering on the tailgate harmoniously rounds off the design.
51:32Inside, the Z10 presents itself as futuristic and inspired by a spaceship, as Link and co-themselves explain.
51:42In Europe, the driver information display and the 50.4-inch infotainment touchscreen merge into a single widescreen monitor, creating a clear and intuitive user interface.
51:52The exact dimensions of the display are not yet known.
51:59However, the manufacturer specifies a width-to-height ratio of 12.3 T1.
52:05A head-up display with augmented reality function projects important information directly into the driver's field of vision, which significantly increases safety and comfort.
52:13The generous feeling of space is supported by a large glass roof, while heated and ventilated massage seats ensure maximum comfort.
52:25The Harman Kardon system with 23 speakers and a 1600-watt amplifier guarantees first-class sound.
52:31The Z10 is based on the flexible CIA Sustainable Experience Architecture platform from the Gilly Group and is equipped with one or two silicon cabin engines.
52:42The single-engine base version with rear-wheel drive offers an output of 272 horsepower, while the more powerful versions deliver 310 kilowatts at the rear and 270 kilowatts at the front, resulting in a total of 789 horsepower.
52:59With this output, the Z10 accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.5 seconds.
53:07Depending on the model version, Lin and company use either 400 or 800-volt technology, with lithium-iron phosphate batteries being mandatory.
53:17The basic version has a 71 kilowatt-hour battery, which enables a range of 602 kilometers according to the less stringent Chinese CLTC cycle.
53:26With a large 95-kilowatt-hour energy storage unit, the range can even be up to 806 kilometers.
53:35The promise in terms of charging power is particularly impressive.
53:39Thanks to the 800-volt system, the higher-end models can be recharged in just 15 minutes to provide enough energy for an additional 573 kilometers.
53:50Safety is a clear focus for Lincoln Coal with the Z10.
53:53The brand aims to meet the strictest safety standards in both China and Europe.
54:01This is to be achieved through a comprehensive assistance package, the exact details of which have not yet been released.
54:10In addition, Lincoln County places great emphasis on passive safety, in particular on securing the battery pack against impacts, ensuring maximum protection for the occupants.
54:20The official market launch of the Z10 is planned for September 5, 2024.
54:27According to Chinese media reports, the pre-sales phase has already begun in the domestic market.
54:32The basic pro version with 272 horsepower, rear-wheel drive, 400-volt technology and a range of 602 kilometers is offered in China for 215,800 yen, which is equivalent to around 27,400 euros.
54:47Customers who order a Z10 during this phase will also receive an equipment package worth 28,000 yen, which is equivalent to just under 3,600 euros.
54:59The prices of the four other model versions are not yet known, but are expected to be higher.
55:08There is currently no specific information on the launch date for Europe.
55:13Prices for the European market are also unclear and will only be published in the future.
55:17A comparison model could be the 001 from the Gilley subsidiary Seeger, which is also based on the S platform.
55:26It is around 25 centimeters shorter than the Z10 and is available in Germany from 6,070 euros.
55:35It is therefore unlikely that the Z10 will be a bargain, especially since impending punitive tariffs for electric cars produced in China could further increase prices in Europe.
55:44In conclusion, it can be said that the link code Z10 is an ambitious project that aims to play a significant role in a highly competitive market segment.
55:57With its impressive technical specifications, futuristic design and a clear focus on safety, Lin and company are setting new standards.
