00:27It's hard to believe that Blue Mountain Camparco,
00:31a small family-run company from North Carolina,
00:34has been around for 12 years and has flown under the radar.
00:38Despite this, over 400 of their campers are already on the road across the USA.
00:43Blue Mountain Camper Company relies on a simple principle.
00:47While many manufacturers rely on different models and floor plans,
00:51they focus on a single model, the Apple Legend Touring.
00:54The Advantage
00:57All of their know-how and craftsmanship go into this one model,
01:01which is noticeable in the quality.
01:04The IT, as the Apple Legend Touring is often called,
01:07offers a rot-free construction thanks to a composite structure.
01:12Although some birch wood is used inside,
01:14the floor, roof, walls and ceilings are made of durable composite materials.
01:18The exact material mix is unknown,
01:25but with a starting price of around $13,850,
01:29it could be a combination of fiberglass, steel and possibly some aluminum.
01:33The Apple Legend Touring weighs 712 kg.
01:41Dry mass and the load on the trailer hitch is around 79 kg.
01:48The camper itself is equipped with a Dexter axle,
01:51which is designed for a load of up to 1,600 kg.
01:54A real heavyweight that offers plenty of storage space and load capacity.
