In diesem Video schauen wir uns den Ozark 1620BHLE genauer an – ein kompakter Camper aus der Limited Edition von Forest River. Mit einer Länge von rund 6 m, Platz für bis zu 6 Personen und funktionaler Ausstattung wie Stockbetten, Küche, Bad mit Dusche und einem elektrischen Kamin bietet der 1620BHLE alles, was man für entspannte Campingtrips braucht.

Besonders spannend: Der Preis. Neue Modelle von 2025 starten aktuell bei etwa 16.000 €, ältere Modelle aus 2024 sind schon ab ca. 14.000 € zu finden. Ideal für alle, die günstig ins Camperleben starten möchten. Einziger Nachteil: Offgrid ist ohne Nachrüstung nicht drin – wer also unabhängig unterwegs sein will, muss selbst aufrüsten.

00:04Today we're talking about the Ozark Limited Edition Campers,

00:07which are particularly compact but offer space for an entire family.

00:11The Forest River Erf manufacturer, known for its many brands,

00:15introduced its first model in 1996 and brought us the Ozark Series.

00:21The Limited Edition includes the 1610 RBLE and 1620 BHLE models,

00:26which are characterized by their smaller size but are by no means limited in their capabilities.

00:33With a length of only around 6 meters, they offer enough space for 4 to 6 guests,

00:38with the larger version, the 620 BHLE, being designed for up to 6 people if the sofa is modular.

00:46Otherwise, it only sleeps 5.

00:48Particularly noteworthy is the BH designation of the 26 BHLE,

00:52which stands for an area with bunk beds, also ideal for adults.

00:58The features of the Limited Edition differ from the larger Ozark Campers,

01:01which are often over 11 meters long.

01:05However, despite the compact design, the features remain fully functional.

01:10The basic equipment includes a queen-size bed in the front area,

01:14a wardrobe and additional storage space.

01:16In the rear of the caravan, there is a sofa, which is located opposite a fully equipped kitchen.

01:25There is a two-burner gas stove, a microwave and a sink with hot and cold water.

01:32The water heater ensures that the shower is also constantly supplied with hot water.

01:36An additional highlight is the Furion Electric Fireplace,

01:41which provides 5000 BTU of heat to bring the room to a pleasant temperature in no time.

01:48One drawback could be the location of the refrigerator,

01:51which is somewhat inconveniently located in the rear kitchen.

01:54This creates the risk of dirt being carried into the caravan when accessing it.

01:59However, the floors are made of vinyl, which makes cleaning easier.

02:03Two air conditioning units also ensure comfort.

02:08One is mounted on the side and one on the roof.

02:12The rear area of the vehicle consists of a bathroom with a separate shower cubicle

02:16and a window that provides ventilation.

02:20The storage space could be a bit more generous,

02:22but it's sufficient for a family that likes to spend weekends outdoors.

02:27There's also an outdoor storage area that's big enough for fishing rods,

02:31tools, or an outdoor dining set.

02:33One minor drawback of the limited edition is that it doesn't have any serious off-grid features.

02:40So if you want more independence, you'll have to invest extra.

02:45Prices for a new 2025-1620B HLE are currently around €16,000 depending on the features and extras.

02:55If you're happy with a model from last season,

02:57you can find a good deal for under €15,000.

02:59However, you should make sure that the camper has been serviced regularly

03:05to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
