00:03Today it's all about the compact and charming Gobana 1200 Tierra Trailer.
00:10The Gobana 1200 is the simplest model from the Dutch manufacturer Gobana,
00:15which has been lovingly handcrafting compact caravans with a retro flair since 2004.
00:21Contrary to its own motto, Size Matters, Gobana is not about size, but about the essentials,
00:27freedom, flexibility, and a restful night's sleep, even far away from civilization.
00:34The model shown here is a Gobana 1200 from 2025.
00:39In its minimalist basic configuration, with a length of around 4 meters, a height of 1.7 meters,
00:46and a height of 1.7 meters, even electric cars and trikes can handle it.
00:51Inside there's just a bed for two people, storage space in the form of cupboards, a roof hatch,
00:56and a door with a sliding window, mosquito net, and blackout blinds.
01:01It's basically a mobile bedroom.
01:04There's no kitchen or sanitary facilities.
01:08However, the Gobana 1200 is winter-insulated and hail-proof.
01:13The wood-look exterior paneling is striking, short to appeal to lovers of vintage camping equipment.
01:19This version costs around 9,000 euros.
01:24Those who don't mind paying that much can opt for the basic version, which starts at around 6,200 euros,
01:31or the Gobana basic version for around 7,000 euros, both with a white polyester exterior.
01:37Despite its small size, the Gobana 1200 offers maximum functionality in a small space.
01:43The maximum total weight is 750 kilograms, and the caravan can be equipped with useful extras upon request.
01:52A folding kitchen in the broken model or a pull-out kitchen in the basic version,
01:56an awning, an electric stays, Gobana even offers a fully equipped kitchen with a two-burner gas stove,
02:02sink, 45-liter refrigerator, work surfaces, a 75-liter water tank, and an outdoor shower.
02:09Numerous add-ons are also available.
02:11From shock absorbers and a stabilizing coupling to bike racks, a spare wheel mount, a 100-watt solar panel,
02:20a gas detector, radio preparation, a ventilated mattress, and various color options inside and out,
02:27the Gobana 1200 grows with its users' needs, from an ultra-lightweight sleeping cabin to a virtually complete weekend at home.
02:34As Goban puts it, the 200 is ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the freedom of simple camping without sacrificing a good night's sleep.
02:47It may be small, but with 400 liters of storage space, it's still big enough for the essentials.
