01:09With an estimated driving range of over 258 miles and a speedy charge time of only 30 minutes,
01:20the VW ID.Bus Camper works well for couples or solo adventurers who are after an eco-conscious road trip that stands out for all the right reasons.
01:30The low running costs and its smooth, slick design has earned it many prestigious titles in a year full of awards.
01:39Alongside innovative technology such as infotainment, the ID.Light system and Travel Assist,
01:46the van is thoughtfully built from sustainable materials throughout, including animal-free leather and extensive use of recycled materials.
01:54In comparison to other van converters, Love Campers chose to build a van that would meet type approval safety requirements,
02:03meaning that this particular van does not include a pop-top roof or a rock-and-roll bed that has not been through full crash safety tests.
02:11We're extremely pleased with the final result, packed full of gadgets with solar and battery technology, and we hope you'll love it too.
02:21So I'm going to talk you through all of the kitchen features in this van.
02:25First off, we've got an induction hob, which means that it's completely gas-free.
02:30We've got a stainless steel sink, which has this beautiful lid.
02:35You can see it's nice and deep, and above it we've got an instant hot water tap, which is really handy.
02:42Below the bed, there is a drawer fridge, which is a 22-litre capacity, and it's powered by LG.
02:52I'll talk you through the lighting that we have in this van.
02:55First of all, we have spotlights.
02:57We've also got some smaller pin lights.
02:59Here we have some flexi lighting, which you can use to focus on a particular area.
03:09This is a nice warmer light, and it has two different strengths, so you can dim it.
03:15There is a USB charge point in the base.
03:18Another cool feature that we've put in this van is an LED strip light, which is underneath the worktop surface.
03:26It's Apple-compatible, which means that you can change the colours connected to an app.
03:31I'll talk you through some of the interior design options we have in this van.
03:35We have a bamboo worktop surface here, and we have white laminate onto birch ply for all of the cabinetry, made by highly skilled carpenters.
03:48The ceiling is also cladded with bamboo, as well as this detailing here, and on the side at the back.
03:57Our client went for a stunning light blue upholstery, which matches the beautiful wrap on the outside.
04:05There is a dark anthracite carpet lining, and the floor, which is particularly beautiful, is a herringbone wood effect from Forgo.
04:15We've also fitted luxury blackout curtains, which are super easy to use, and block out the light entirely.
04:23We've found these to be the best on the market, and we use them every time.
04:27We've got a pull-out drawer, but it can work as a table.
04:32So we have a smaller worktop surface here.
04:36You've also got the option of removing this, and replacing it with this larger table here.
04:40For a really compact van, we've actually got tons of storage in here, and there's even a full big drawer underneath the bed.
04:50We've also fitted a sliding fold-out table in the rear of the van.
04:55We've also fitted a wireless charging point.
04:58You can put your phone straight on top to charge it, or you can press it, and that will reveal multiple powerpoints inside.
05:05Another cool aspect to this van is that there's a hidden tow bar.
05:10We've put a button inside this cupboard, that you can press to have it pop out.
05:18We've put a really powerful solar panel on the roof.
05:21It's 305 watt, and it's a custom-made production.
05:25It works on really low light, and it will power the battery.
05:28Another design feature is that it has no visible wires, which looks great.
05:34One of the most special features in this van is the battery that we've fitted.
05:38It's an EcoFlow Delta Pro battery.
05:41It has a capacity of 3.6 kilowatts, with the ability to add much more should you need it.
05:47The great thing about this battery is its charging speeds.
05:50It's removable, and it can be fully charged in less than two hours from a standard three-pin house plug.
05:56And even quicker from an EV charging point.
06:00This means you can charge your van and top up your leisure battery at the same stop.
06:05It has two USB-C outputs of 100 watts, fantastic for charging laptops.
06:10And a 30 amp, 12 volt output for running any extras you might need.
06:15To make great use of the space inside this van, we've fitted a two-berth flatbed, which is robust and comfortable and sturdy, and it's actually a Love Campers official design.
06:28Last but not least, the breathtaking vinyl wrap was custom-made by the super-talented resin artist, Zee Van Gills.
06:37This stunning design, inspired by the sea, with bright pops of pinks and blues, ensures that this campervan turns every single head as it passes by.
