00:22The 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander brings a breath of fresh air to the midsize SUV class and starts
00:31with a new base variant of the Le Trim, which lowers the starting price to around €42,310.
00:39That's almost €2,500 less than last year.
00:45This Le variant is available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive and offers the choice of a
00:502.4-liter four-cylinder touring engine or a hybrid variant with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and two
00:56electric motors. The price for the hybrid model starts at €4,560, which represents a saving of
01:06around €870 compared to the 2024. In addition, there is now the new nightshade variant, which
01:13is available for €5,060. This version is based on the hybrid limited trim and gives the Grand
01:22Highlander a particularly elegant, dark look with black accents on the door handles, emblems,
01:27grille, mirror caps and rims.
01:33The interior of the nightshade variant offers the same luxurious amenities as the regular limited model,
01:39but is equipped with an 11-speaker JBL audio system at no additional cost.
01:47The hybrid Max models are also available again for 2025 and come in the limited and platinum trims.
01:55The price for the limited version starts at around €56,140, while the top model,
02:01the platinum variant, is available from around €60,225.
02:09Both hybrid Max models combine the powerful 2.4-liter turbocharged engine with an electric
02:14motor and achieve an impressive total output of 362 horsepower and a torque of around 504 newton-meters.
02:24Rounding out the innovations for 2025 are two fresh exterior colors, cement and heavy metal,
02:30as well as a removable second row of seats for all versions with captain's chairs, except the
02:34Li variant.
02:39The first platinum models are expected shortly before the turn of the year,
02:42while the new Li models are set to hit the market in the first half of 2025.
