00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:08Today, we're sharing some exciting details about the Audi A3 Allstreet 40 TFSI-E.
00:15This model clearly stands out from other A3 derivatives thanks to its robust off-road design and 3 cm higher ground clearance, and is now available as a plug-in hybrid.
00:24The new A3 Allstreet combines proven petrol power with electric power for particularly efficient and locally emission-free driving.
00:34Audi has opted for a clever mix here.
00:37The drive system consists of a modern 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 110 kW or 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
00:47Paired with a powerful electric motor that delivers an additional 85 kW and 330 Nm of torque.
00:54Together, this results in a system output of an impressive 150 kW, 204 hp and a total torque of 350 Nm.
01:04This makes the A3 Allstreet ideally equipped for everyday use and longer journeys.
01:09It reaches an impressive top speed of 225 km per hour and can even drive on electric power up to a speed of 140 km per hour.
01:19Particularly noteworthy is the battery that Audi has equipped the A3 Allstreet with.
01:28With a gross capacity of 52.7 kW and a net capacity of 19.7 kWh, it enables an electric range of up to 140 km according to the WLTP cycle.
01:40The battery consists of 96 cells, each with a capacity of 73 ampere hours.
01:48The intelligent drive management allows the driver to prioritize the electric drive using an EV button and thus drive as if in a purely electric vehicle.
01:55In auto-hybrid mode, on the other hand, the gasoline engine and the electric motor share the work depending on the speed and driving requirements.
02:05The A3 Allstreet drives on electricity at low speeds, but switches on the combustion engine at higher speeds and combines both drives during kickdowns or other situations in which additional thrust is required.
02:22Another highlight is the option of DC fast charging.
02:26The A3 Allstreet can be charged at fast charging stations with a charging capacity of up to 50 kW.
02:32This means that a battery that has been discharged to 10% can be charged to 80% in less than half an hour.
02:41This is ideal for anyone who doesn't want to spend much time charging while on the road.
02:47Alternatively, the vehicle can be charged to 300 kWh at AC charging stations such as a home wall box, which takes around 2.5 hours.
02:56Audi also offers a comprehensive charging service with access to around 630,000 charging points throughout Europe.
03:05This includes special Audi charging hubs in cities such as Berlin, Munich and Zurich.
03:11The A3 Allstreet also has a lot to offer in terms of ride comfort.
03:14With its 15mm higher trim level, larger wheels and special spring and damper tuning, the vehicle offers a successful balance between dynamics and comfort.
03:24The slightly rear heavy axle load distribution of 55% front, 45% rear due to the position of the lithium-ion battery under the rear seat noticeably improves the driving experience.
03:39The steering is particularly precise at higher speeds and provides optimum support when parking.
03:44For those who want even more agile steering, Audi offers an optional progressive steering system, which adjusts its ratio depending on the steering angle.
03:56You can order the Audi A3 Allstreet 40 TFSI from mid-November at a starting price of âŹ46,000.
04:05Among other things, you get the Audi Drive Select Dynamic Handling System and Auxiliary Air Conditioning as standard,
04:11which can either cool or preheat the interior before starting the journey.
04:17Both features can be individually planned and adjusted via the Mi Touch display in the vehicle.
