00:04Today we're talking about the revised electric SUV Subaru Solterra,
00:08which is attracting attention with more power, a larger battery, and a new look.
00:14Subaru recently unveiled the model in New York and introduced some important technical and visual innovations.
00:22Particularly interesting is that the Solterra continues to be equipped with all-wheel drive as standard,
00:27but now offers two different power variants.
00:30The base version has a system output of 171 kW, while the more powerful XT variant boasts 249 kW.
00:40This corresponds to approximately 338 hp and enables acceleration from 0 to 100 kmh in under 5 seconds,
00:48a significant improvement over the previous version.
00:51Another key update concerns the battery.
00:54The new capacity is 74.7 kWh, which, according to the American EPA N-Standard, enables a range of around 460 km.
01:03This translates to an expected WLTP value of around 580 km.
01:10During charging, the maximum DC charging power remains at 150 kW.
01:17This allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 80% in around 35 minutes.
01:22A new battery preconditioning function should make fast charging even more efficient in the future.
01:30The Subaru Solterra has also been visually revised.
01:33This is clearly visible in a redesigned front bumper and a modified light signature.
01:42Particularly exciting for customers who prefer a more discreet appearance,
01:46There are now versions without the striking black plastic wheel arch liners, giving the SUV a more urban appearance.
01:55On the rear end, a Subaru logo now replaces the previous brand logo.
01:59The interior has also been improved.
02:02A new steering wheel, a modified center console, and a revised touchscreen provide a more modern cockpit experience.
02:09The new Subaru Solterra is scheduled to be launched in the United States before the end of this year.
02:16It is not yet known when the new features will be available in Germany.
02:22However, it can be assumed that the increased performance, the increased range,
02:26and the visual changes will also be important for European customers.
02:32Subaru has not yet announced a price.
