00:03Today we're talking about a very special electric motorcycle, the Mabing RM1.
00:10A powered cafe racer that impresses with its unusual design, ease of use, and locally emission-free drive.
00:18The Mabing Airend S immediately catches the eye, not only because the market for electric motorcycles is still quite small, but because its retro style sets it apart.
00:27While other manufacturers are focusing on futuristic lines, the relatively new brand from Coventry is oriented towards the classic bobber look of the 1960s and 70s.
00:39The designers have packed modern technology into a historically inspired design.
00:45An elongated tank, underneath two large battery packs, a striking folded cable with heat protection embedded in the black frame.
00:52The leather solo seat at the rear end details such as brushed aluminum, a carbon wheel hub cover, optional carbon protective surface, and various paint finishes ensure a high-quality appearance.
01:07The RM1S is not only beautiful to look at, but also well thought out.
01:12Instead of a fixed battery, the two removable batteries, each with 2.37 kWh, can be easily taken into the apartment.

03:22Up to approximately 145 kilometers is possible with careful riding.
03:27At high speeds, the range is reduced to just over 100 kilometers.
03:34If the battery is empty, you can either charge it directly on the vehicle or remove the two batteries, each weighing around 16 kilograms, and charge them at home.
03:43A charge from 20 to 80% takes around 2 and a half hours.
03:50A full charge takes around 6 hours.
03:53Maying does not rely on a traditional dealer network.
03:57The motorcycles are delivered directly to the door via an importer.
04:00Service is also provided directly to the customer.
04:03Since sales began in April 2020, Maving has sold around 2,000 machines, primarily in the UK, the US, Germany, and France.
04:16Current production capacity is up to 1,600 units per year.
04:21In the future, up to 11,000 motorcycles are to be built annually.
