00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:09Today, we're all about the new Ola Geek Electric Scooter from the Indian manufacturer Ola Motors.
00:15With a starting price of just 500 euros, this e-scooter is cheaper than most e-bikes and is setting new standards in terms of affordability.
00:24In addition to the Ola Geek, the manufacturer offers three other models,
00:28the Ola Geek Plus, the Ola S1Z and the Ola S1Z Plus, all of which are designed for private and commercial users.
00:37The prices of the gig models intended for commercial use are particularly impressive, starting at around 450 euros.
00:46The S1Z and S1Z Plus, which are based on the popular S1 model, are available from around 665 euros.
00:53All four models impress with their purely electric drive and a practical advantage, the batteries can be replaced quickly and easily.
01:03With a capacity of one and a half kilowatt hours, a single battery enables a range of up to 81 kilometers.
01:14Some versions of the electric scooters also offer the option of a dual battery, which increases the range to up to 150 kilometers.
01:21The top speed varies between 25 and 45 kilometers per hour depending on the model, which makes them drivable in Germany with a moped test certificate or a class AM driver's license.
01:35The first deliveries in India are planned from April 2025.
01:42However, it is unlikely that the scooters will be available at the same prices in Germany.
