00:03Today we're talking about the first fully electric scooter model from Greece, the Enns by EcoShift.
00:11This innovative two-wheeler is not only completely electric,
00:14but also the first of its kind to be designed and manufactured entirely in Greece,
00:18and at a price that is lower than many Chinese models.
00:24The news is manufactured by EcoShift, a member of the Petros Petropolis Group,
00:29in their new production facilities in Metamorphose near Athens.
00:34Currently, two to three vehicles are produced per shift by a team of six.
00:40However, production is soon to be increased up to 5,000 units per year with a shift of 12.
00:46The infrastructure for this is already in place.
00:51The design of the news looks modern and high quality,
00:54and the seat is designed to comfortably accommodate riders of all body sizes,
00:57up to a weight of around 180 kg.
01:03The vehicle is available in two versions.
01:06Both are equipped with a removable battery with a capacity of 2.2 kWh.
01:13This ensures a range of up to 131 km.
01:16The battery weighs around 12 kg and can be easily replaced.
01:24A full charge takes around 5 hours,
01:26while a charge cycle from 20 to 80% is completed in around 2 hours.
01:33According to EcoShift,
01:34the battery life is around 1,000 charge cycles for 80% of the original capacity.
01:39The heart of the scooter is a Bosch electric motor,
01:43which is integrated directly into the rear wheel.
01:46It delivers between 4 and around 6.7 horsepower,
01:50and the driver can choose between three riding modes,
01:52Eco, Normal, and Dynamics.
01:54The L1 version has a top speed of 45 km per hour
02:01and is suitable for riders aged 16 and over,
02:03while the more powerful L3 version reaches a top speed of 80 km per hour.
02:10The nose is also state-of-the-art in terms of technology.
02:13It offers an 8-inch LCD display with 4G technology
02:18and allows connection to a smartphone via a special app.
02:24Other practical features include a USB port,
02:28keyless starting,
02:29and the option to convert the scooter into a practical cargo model
02:32thanks to the interchangeable rear seat.
02:35A particularly strong advantage of the NOS is its price.
02:39It is up to 600 euros cheaper than comparable Chinese models.
02:43The basic version starts at around 5,640 euros,
02:48while the cargo model is available from around 5,600 euros.
02:54State subsidies are not included.
02:58In addition,
03:00the manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty on the vehicle itself
03:03in 4 years or up to 40,000 km on the battery,
03:06whichever comes first.
