00:00We'll take a look at the updated odds entering Saturday, and we see the team to beat the Alabama Crimson Tide, plus 120, to win an SEC title this year.
00:10But Texas A&M, fresh off their road win in Baton Rouge this weekend, has closed the gap.
00:17They're 2-1, followed by Georgia, Ole Miss, and Texas.
00:21Entering Week 10, Coach, we still don't know where the SEC championship is going to go.
00:27Could be one of eight or ten teams to potentially pull it out.
00:31Well, you know, Ole Miss has maybe the best schedule, SEC schedule, to get there, where they've got South Carolina, Florida, Mississippi State.
00:39But Alabama's got to play Oklahoma, got to play Auburn.
00:42Texas A&M's got to play Texas, which is their big rival, along with Missouri.
00:46And then Georgia's got to play Florida, Texas, and well, Georgia Tech's not in the conference.
00:51But anyway, there's too much going on.
00:53Anybody can win this thing.
00:54I don't think you've got one that I see as a strong favorite, although Alabama's listed number one.
01:01There are basically three top teams, and Ole Miss is sitting on the outside.
01:04But I really like their schedule when it comes to – and the odds are, what, 11-1, 1100, plus 1100.
01:11And so that's an interesting odds.
01:12But I think the season has got to be played out.
01:17There's losses in there.
01:18For every team, it's got possible losses.
01:19Absolutely, and you see the job that Texas A&M did against LSU and Brian Kelly.
01:27We're going to dive into that in the next segment.
01:29But Marcel Reed had a dynamic performance.
01:32They were two-and-a-half-point road favorites in that ballgame, trailed 15-14.
01:37And they just put a beatdown on LSU, winning it 42-25, a dominant offense and defensive effort.
01:46This team is cooking on both sides of the football, Coach.
01:50Mike Elko has done a fantastic job.
01:52They're physical.
01:53They can run the football defensively.
01:55They're opportunistic.
01:56Not only for an SEC championship, but big picture, if they're an at-large team, Texas A&M is a team to beat to potentially win the national championship.
02:06I mean, they're on fire right now.
02:08Well, I think we've said that the last couple of weeks, Joe, that when they have to win defensively, they can win defensively.
02:15When they've got to outscore you, they do it that way.
02:17Marcel Reed has become a Heisman contender.
02:21He can run and throw.
02:23Their running game is good.
02:24They've got Concepcion as a receiver, punt returner, great skill with special teams, as well as on receiving court.
02:30Just an outstanding football team.
02:32And, again, as we've gone through the season, their stock has gone up just because they've lined up against very good people
02:39and found a way to win every week from Notre Dame all the way down.
02:44Yeah, absolutely.
02:45I think when you look at the Heisman odds as well, as good as Ty Simpson is playing,
02:50Marcel Reed is a player to keep an eye out on 88 rushing yards.
02:55He abuses LSU on the ground yet again for the second straight year in a row.
03:00Last year, he rushed nine times for 62 yards and three touchdowns.
03:05He rushes for multiple touchdowns again, puts up 88 yards on the ground.
03:09I mean, just a dynamic dual threat.
03:12And what about Diego Pavia?
03:14I mean, they get another victory.
03:16And Diego Pavia, even though he didn't put up dynamic numbers, he's a main reason why this offense and this team only have one loss in the regular season.
03:26I mean, Coach, it could be anybody in the conference that wins the Heisman this year.
03:30You know what?
03:30Here's what happened.
03:31You got every conference championship game played on December 6th.
03:34The Heisman's not picked until the 13th.
03:36So you could have a Fernando Mendoza going against Julian Sand, undefeated championship game way up there in the Big Ten.
03:42You could have Marcel Reed going against a number of players in the league as an undefeated head coach.
03:49But you know what?
03:50The two most interesting stories, storylines that everybody likes is Diego Pavia and Trinidad Chambliss.
03:57Now, they've got to win some games and be there in the end.
04:00But you know what?
04:01It's a popularity contest as much as anything else.
04:03So don't forget those two names because they have the most interesting stories of how they got to where they are.
