00:00We talked about who in the SEC can win the championship.
00:03You take a look at Kalen DeBoer and Alabama.
00:06Can they get the job done?
00:07He just got paid a lot of money.
00:09But as I slide this down and try to find Alabama,
00:12they're currently trading at 46 cents to make the college football playoff,
00:17which $100 investment pays back $218.
00:21Joe, I was just talking about Bama.
00:23Kalen DeBoer making what, like 13 mil a year?
00:26Only at a 40% chance to make the college football playoff?
00:30Where's that investment return at?
00:33Again, there are some flyers in the SEC, Donna.
00:37Donnie, we're taking a flyer for because, listen,
00:41everybody's going to look at Texas because of you-know-who under center there, right?
00:46True.
00:46But how do you not look?
00:48Alabama is always live.
00:50Georgia, always live here.
00:53Texas, I got to see it before I believe it.
00:55Even with a year under his belt now
00:58and maybe having the number one draft pick coming out,
01:00you and I both know Georgia and Alabama are always going to be live coming out of the SEC.
01:07It's so tough, too, because understand this.
01:09Texas is trading as the favorite to win the SEC championship this year, 26%.
01:13It's no longer the, like, it used to be, Joe,
01:15you had to win the SEC championship game to play for a championship,
01:17and it meant that much more.
01:19It's not necessarily the case at this point.
01:20Also, just getting into the college football playoff is now what matters more.
01:24And you can almost look like it.
01:25Hey, we got into the playoffs without even making the SEC championship game.
01:28We don't have that wear and tear and that toughness they're going to have to win that game.
01:32That could shape up.
01:33So, for me, if you look and say, you know what?
01:35I'm going to take the no on Texas.
01:36It is expensive.
01:38A $100 investment pays back $129, Joe.
01:40You get every team in the SEC but Texas to win that championship game here.
01:45College football Big 12 winner.
01:47Let me see some of the markets on this place at Cal State.
01:49I'm sliding down.
01:50I'm sliding down.
01:51I'm sliding down and saying to myself,
01:53hey, look, there's Colorado, Joe.
01:55A 2% chance to get it done.
01:58A $100 investment pays $5,000 if Deion and the boys can win the Big 12.
02:03Eh, you can hope and dream, right?
02:05You can always hope and dream, but the reality is we know that is not likely happening.
02:10The truth is, listen, Texas Tech, who's had made some headlines here with some draft picks.
02:17They have more money than anybody in NIL, and they are willing to spend it.
02:22So, from this point forward, very hard not to look at Texas Tech out of the Big 12.
02:28I mean, we just told you how close.
02:30Like, you know, you look at the Big 10 or let's just say the SEC at the top of the
02:33standings.
02:34Like, Texas has a 50% chance before we even play a football game to win that conference.
02:39The next closest person, Joe, it's BYU at 14% in Oklahoma State.
02:43Your boys at 14%.
02:45College football's finest out of the Big 10, the national champions,
02:48they're trading with Ohio State as the best chance to win the Big 10, Joe.
02:52How about that?
02:53Indiana and Ohio State, 29% chance.
02:56How about that?
02:58Yeah, and again, all teams that get used to it because they will always be at the top
03:03and the favorites in all of these markets here, Donnie, for the foreseeable future.
03:09How about this?
03:09Coaching change there at Penn State.
03:11Joe, think they can win the Big 10 and win some big games finally.
03:14$100 investment pays back.
03:15$14, what's that, $1,429?
03:19Not bad, people!
