The owner of a Lamborghini Huracán has posted a video on TikTok to warn supercar enthusiasts who dream of having a Lambo in their garage one day.

Emtiaz Uddin, CEO of Ekko Vision, shared a clip explaining to his followers why his white Huracán had been missing from his videos. According to him, the car was at the shop because it needed a full engine replacement.

Uddin, who lives in the Houston, Texas area, said he bought his Lamborghini Huracán brand new and drove it for about 19,000 km when a support bracket broke — something he blamed on Houston’s rough roads.

That broken bracket apparently triggered a chain reaction that led to the need for a complete engine replacement. Fortunately for Uddin, the repair was covered under warranty, as the cost could have exceeded $100,000.

Noah Jay, another Lamborghini owner, posted a reaction video to Uddin’s clip and reflected on the expenses of maintaining his own supercar.

Jay mentioned his recent maintenance costs, including a $500 oil change, a $3,000 diagnostic visit, and another repair that could total around $20,000.

“[Uddin] once asked what my dream car would be if I became successful enough with [Ekko] to afford it,” Jay recalled in the clip.
“But he made sure to remind me that even if I earned enough to buy the car, I’d have to keep working hard enough to maintain it.”

The video highlights an important point: even without catastrophic failures, basic maintenance for exotic cars is significantly more expensive than for regular vehicles.

You might have enough money to buy a Lamborghini, but here’s the real question — can you afford to keep it running long-term, especially if a surprise repair costs more than $100,000?

The takeaway is clear: luxury performance comes with luxury maintenance. If you’re going to buy a supercar, be ready to pay super-sized bills.

00:00I don't know if any of you guys noticed, I no longer have my Lambo in my garage or outside.
00:06I bought the Lambo brand new and I drove it for roughly around 12,000 miles.
00:10And there was a bracket that broke off especially because I drive it in Houston Road.
00:13Houston roads are just rough, man.
00:15Unfortunately, the broken bracket ultimately over time caused enough issues where the entire engine needed to be replaced.
00:23Luckily for me, Lambo is covering it entirely so I'm kind of happy about that.
00:26Since I don't drive it as much as the other cars, I was hoping to trade it in for a Turbo S for my daily driver.
00:33But unfortunately, it seems like that will not be the case because I will be losing a lot of value which is something I do not want to do.
00:38Since I'm in the process of building a house with almost 5,000 square feet of garage space, I'm gonna need the cars anyway to fill up all the space, right?
00:46Which means along with this car and this car and that one, that will also be my forever car.
00:52Unfortunate, but it's okay.
00:53I no longer have my Lambo in my garage or outside.

01:18Here's how much money I spent maintaining my Lamborghini this year and a little bit of Echo lore.
01:24Before I bought my Lamborghini, before I lived in Texas, before I had any signature supplements with Echo Vision, there was one moment I can recall.
01:33And that is on a work trip that I took with M to sample the new protein bars.
01:37So I was still living in New York at the time and M was driving me to the airport to drop me off so I could fly back home after our trip.
01:45And we had a great conversation and we started talking about cars and he asked what my dream car would be to buy if I ever become successful enough with the company to do so.
01:54And now we all know how that turned out, but he made it a point to make sure that even if I made enough to buy the car, I have to keep working hard enough to afford to fix the car.
02:09So my first oil change on this ran me $500.
02:14And now my second service on the Lamborghini that wasn't even mechanical at all, it was just two codes that needed to be reset.
02:21That ran me $3,000.
02:24And the next one could potentially be a real doozy because if I do have to work on the cams, that's going to run me at least $20,000.
02:34Now in the comment section, let me know what is the most amount of money you've spent to fix a vehicle.
02:41Thanks for watching the video, guys.
02:42I love you.
02:43Like the video.
02:44Give me a follow.
02:45Share the video.
02:45And peace, peace, peace, peace.
