American company Target Arm has announced the integration of its Ralar drone launch and recovery system into unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) developed by HDT Global.
The technology turns the robots into mobile drone bases, allowing the aircraft to take off, land, recharge and return to operation while the vehicle remains in motion, without requiring a pilot or operator on site.
According to the company, Ralar 2 uses robotics, autonomy and artificial intelligence systems to automate the entire drone operating cycle.
