Turkish Aerospace Industries has released a video showing the KAAN P1 prototype undergoing ground tests ahead of its first flight.
The new aircraft represents an important stage in the development of Turkey’s next-generation fighter. The P1 is considered the main prototype for the next phase of the testing campaign and is expected to be used for more extensive evaluations of flight performance, avionics systems and the different configurations planned for the program.
In the video published by Turkish Aerospace Industries, also known by the acronyms TAI and TUSAŞ, the KAAN P1 can be seen carrying out ground activities. This stage allows engineers to verify the integrated operation of essential components before the aircraft is cleared for takeoff.
