00:00:00It was hard to see Zahaira go, she's been such a cheerleader for everyone in the room.
00:00:10Zahaira, Zahaira, Zahaira went behind.
00:00:16Enter the void with me, Zahaira XOXO.
00:00:21I'm feeling good but also feeling guilty.
00:00:24It's a competition baby.
00:00:27That lip-sync was something, you know.
00:00:30Yeah, you could throw some moves Lil.
00:00:32All that choreography she couldn't get when she turned it down out of the lip-sync.
00:00:35I was like, she's just throwing me under the bus.
00:00:37I just don't like being told what to do.
00:00:40Zahaira is such a bundle of energy.
00:00:42It's going to be such a loss in this workroom.
00:00:44We're going to really miss her but I'm so glad Lil is still here.
00:00:47Come on Lil.
00:00:49Well, well, well, my girl.
00:00:53I'm so happy.
00:00:58You know what?
00:00:59It feels good.
00:01:00I have a badge baby.
00:01:02The competition is on.
00:01:03I'm ready to take some bitches down.
00:01:05Period.
00:01:06You know, Kyren.
00:01:08Go for it baby.
00:01:10But you still got one to go, yeah.
00:01:13Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's fine.
00:01:15Thank frock that Kyren did not get another badge because Lord knows she does not need another ego boost.
00:01:23Relisa did an amazing job and I am not an insecure person.
00:01:27I'm not looking at Relisa like, girl, my God, you shouldn't have got that badge.
00:01:30It should have been me because my name's not Chanel.
00:01:33Char on the end.
00:01:35Hi.
00:01:36How are you feeling?
00:01:37Four weeks of just literally not hearing a peep.
00:01:40I think, I think the judges have forgot I'm here.
00:01:43I just don't think I can be safe again.
00:01:48Like, surely it's not possible.
00:01:49I just need to keep stepping it up.
00:01:51Who knows what'll happen next week.
00:01:53Yeah, you might go home.
00:01:55Thanks, Kyren.
00:01:56I'm joking.
00:01:57Go on.
00:01:58So, Niall, how are you feeling about being safe?
00:02:01I feel like Rue shot a cannonball and it missed me.
00:02:06Oh, not another metaphor.
00:02:07And it hit Zahaira.
00:02:08I am quite happy to have avoided any mishaps this week.
00:02:14Chanel, once she starts, it's kind of hard to get for her to stop.
00:02:18And I feel blessed to be here again.
00:02:20That's when you know to brace yourself because this is probably going to go on for quite some time.
00:02:23And I'm excited for another week.
00:02:25And I'm hoping it's a comedy challenge.
00:02:26I'm hoping it's something funny or just a sewing challenge.
00:02:29Welcome to episode eight.
00:02:31Chanel is still talking.
00:02:33We get it.
00:02:34I talk too much.
00:02:35I see a lot of things.
00:02:36But the point of the story is, I'm safe.
00:02:38So I don't care.
00:02:43It's been very nicey-nicey up until this point.
00:02:48But I think it might be about time to get cutthroat.
00:02:51You're in the top again.
00:02:53And I'm safe.
00:02:54I'm ready for a win, baby.
00:02:56You're ready for a win.
00:02:57This is that point in the competition.
00:03:00The flick has switched.
00:03:02The switch has flicked.
00:03:05I'm excited.
00:03:06I'm crystallized.
00:03:07And I'm winning the badge.
00:03:09I'm going to be in that top.
00:03:10And I'm going to win.
00:03:12Hopefully.
00:03:13And I'm running through the night in my sexy sheets.
00:03:18I'm running through the towel, my sexy sheets.
00:03:20My sexy sheets.
00:03:21Good morning.
00:03:22It really is morning.
00:03:25That's not the voice, is it?
00:03:27That's nil voir.
00:03:28Oh, we've got room around the table now.
00:03:30I know this is it.
00:03:31I was just going to say the same.
00:03:32Where's everyone gone?
00:03:34Where they should be.
00:03:35Home.
00:03:37Release, sir.
00:03:38We can see her shining.
00:03:43How's it feel?
00:03:44How do you feel?
00:03:45Cute.
00:03:46I like it.
00:03:47The girls are recognizing now.
00:03:48I got muscle.
00:03:49Okay?
00:03:50She can carry the badge.
00:03:51Alright.
00:03:52Popeye ain't got nothing on this bitch.
00:03:54Okay?
00:03:55Charity, how are you feeling?
00:03:57I am getting critiqued this week.
00:03:59For good reasons.
00:04:00Yes.
00:04:01And I can't wear it.
00:04:02Okay.
00:04:03I think I deserve a badge.
00:04:04I don't know whether I'm delusional or just shite.
00:04:06What if you just never get critiqued?
00:04:08Safe, safe, safe, safe, safe.
00:04:09Oh, wait.
00:04:10What?
00:04:11What?
00:04:12What?
00:04:13What?
00:04:14Her majesty had already had hers.
00:04:17Hey, queens.
00:04:18Hi.
00:04:19Idle chatter isn't worth a shilling.
00:04:22So, time to get the hot tea spilling.
00:04:25Oh.
00:04:26You can be a joker or you can be a grouch.
00:04:29But ain't nobody got time for a slouch on a couch.
00:04:35Oh.
00:04:36It's like a talk show.
00:04:37Anybody got time for this?
00:04:38Flouch on a couch?
00:04:41Hello, hello, hello.
00:04:42Hi.
00:04:46Good morning, queens.
00:04:47Good morning.
00:04:48I've got one thing to say.
00:04:50Oh, Brit Crew.
00:04:56Please give a big drag race welcome to Raven.
00:05:04Hi, queens.
00:05:05Hi.
00:05:06There's no way that's a real person.
00:05:08Incredible.
00:05:12Now, this week we are paying homage to a true UK institution.
00:05:18The Graham Norton Show.
00:05:22Graham Norton Show.
00:05:23Drag Race.
00:05:24The matchup we never knew we needed.
00:05:26Now, starting with today's mini-challenge, you'll take turns sitting in our big pink chair.
00:05:37Whilst trying to make Raven and me laugh.
00:05:41I mean, I'm not a comedian, so it's going to be interested. Like, the confidence is kind of wafering.
00:05:51Now, listen. If you're not funny enough, Raven will pull this lever and you'll find yourself arse over tits.
00:06:01Hashtag drag race UK.
00:06:03Hashtag drag race UK.
00:06:04And may the funniest queen win.
00:06:11All right, up first, la voir.
00:06:13Have a seat.
00:06:15I'm scared.
00:06:16All right, la voir.
00:06:17Make us laugh.
00:06:18Two nuns are walking down the street.
00:06:25Now, that's funny.
00:06:27I wasn't expecting Raven to be so anti-religious.
00:06:29There will be none of that.
00:06:31Yes.
00:06:33All right, Kyron, you're next.
00:06:34Make us laugh.
00:06:35A horse walks into the bar.
00:06:37The bartender says, why the long face?
00:06:39The horse says, my alcoholism is destroying my family.
00:06:42Oh, my God.
00:06:43Octavia.
00:06:44Do you consider yourself funny?
00:06:45Um.
00:06:46No.
00:06:47Make us laugh.
00:06:48What did 30 do when she was hungry?
00:06:49I don't know.
00:06:50What did 30 do when she was hungry?
00:06:5138.
00:06:52Uh-huh.
00:06:53You know, I'd ask you for another one, but I don't want to hear it.
00:06:55No.
00:06:56No.
00:06:57No.
00:06:58No.
00:06:59No.
00:07:00No.
00:07:01No.
00:07:02No.
00:07:03No.
00:07:04No.
00:07:05No.
00:07:06No.
00:07:07No.
00:07:08No.
00:07:09No.
00:07:10No.
00:07:11No.
00:07:13Marmalade, say hi to Raven.
00:07:15Hi to Raven.
00:07:16Yes.
00:07:17All right, give it to us.
00:07:18What is the difference between an old bus stop and a crab with breast implants?
00:07:25One is a rusty bus station.
00:07:27And the other is a rusty crustacean.
00:07:34Marmalade, good to see you laughing at your own jokes because we weren't laughing with
00:07:39you, girl.
00:07:40At least someone finds it funny.
00:07:43Charity, let us have it.
00:07:45What type of cheese do you use to get a bear out of a cage?
00:07:51Camembert.
00:07:57Whatever will brie, will brie.
00:08:00Get it.
00:08:01Because it's cheese.
00:08:03Releasa Lisa, what do you got?
00:08:05Why don't seagulls fly over the bay?
00:08:08Why don't seagulls fly over the bay?
00:08:13Because then there'll be bagels, innit?
00:08:17Raven, I'll handle this.
00:08:21My God.
00:08:23That's kind of hot.
00:08:25All right, let's have a kiki.
00:08:27This chair is comfortable.
00:08:30Well, let's hear it.
00:08:31What's the difference between Dubai and Abu Dhabi?
00:08:35The people from Dubai don't like the Flintstones, but Abu Dhabi do.
00:08:45I saw the chuckle, Raven.
00:08:49I saw the chuckle.
00:08:51All right, Lil, do you consider yourself funny?
00:08:53Funny looking, maybe.
00:08:54Well, you've got that one in the bag.
00:08:56Tell us a joke.
00:08:59So I was walking down the street yesterday, and a man threw a block of cheese at me.
00:09:02I said, well, that's mature.
00:09:04Then he covered me in butter.
00:09:05How dare he?
00:09:09I've had it up to here with cheese.
00:09:12Chanel, tell us a joke.
00:09:14What's the difference between being hungry and horny?
00:09:16I don't know.
00:09:17What's the difference between being hungry and horny?
00:09:18Where do you stick the cucumber?
00:09:23Well, actually, do her again and let her think about what she just did.
00:09:30Racers, one of you really tickled our funny bones.
00:09:34The winner of today's mini challenge is...
00:09:38Kiki.
00:09:38Oh, good.
00:09:40Good up, the comedian.
00:09:42Yay, thank you.
00:09:44I want a comedy challenge over these funny bitches.
00:09:49I'm the winner, baby.
00:09:52Condragulations, Kiki.
00:09:55And, Ladykins, let's thank Raven and Liam.
00:10:01Come on.
00:10:03Come on.
00:10:04My queens, I've got exciting news.
00:10:08For this week's Maxi Challenge, I've booked you on a special edition of the Graham Norton Show.
00:10:14Oh, my God.
00:10:17Where you'll be interviewed by the man himself.
00:10:20Oh, my God.
00:10:21Oh, my God.
00:10:21Yes.
00:10:22I love me a bit of Graham Norton.
00:10:24I am so excited because it's going to be a talk show.
00:10:27We get to talk.
00:10:28I love talking.
00:10:28Talking is my favorite subject.
00:10:30Now, listen, no pressure, but Graham is used to talking with the biggest, most charming stars in the world.
00:10:38Now, this is your chance to let us hear your charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent talk.
00:10:44We have to be relatable, got that, personable, got that, funny.
00:10:48We'll see.
00:10:49Now, Graham's sofa can't handle this many bottoms at once.
00:10:53So, you'll need to split into two groups.
00:10:57Now, Kiki.
00:10:57Yes?
00:10:58As the pink chair champion, you get to decide who sits with whom.
00:11:04Oh, I don't like the pressure.
00:11:07What do I do with all this power?
00:11:10Now, I'm off to find Graham to let him know this thing is really happening.
00:11:15I hope he says yes.
00:11:20Fraisers, start your engines.
00:11:23And may the best drag queen win.
00:11:28I watched the Graham Norton show all day.
00:11:30Oh.
00:11:31So, what do we think are, like, the good qualities of a chat show guest?
00:11:36We need to know when to talk, but also when do the other people talk.
00:11:39Yes.
00:11:39Be respectful.
00:11:40Yeah.
00:11:41I have an advantage because me and Graham are both Irish, and we're both on Drag Race, and
00:11:46we're both people.
00:11:48So, sorry.
00:11:50And I say bouncing off other people as well.
00:11:52Like, you can have a moment together and laugh.
00:11:54Absolutely.
00:11:55Half of this room is loud-ass personalities, so I'm definitely going to have to fight for
00:11:59the limelight in this one.
00:12:00I've got something to say and do.
00:12:03Oh, kitty.
00:12:04I'm not really thinking too much into it.
00:12:06I'm just going to pick, pick, pick, and then just throw myself somewhere.
00:12:11Should work.
00:12:12Group one.
00:12:14Myself, Lavoie, Kyron, Maan, and Lil.
00:12:20Group two.
00:12:22Channel, Chara.
00:12:24Act-A-Mail, and Releaser.
00:12:27That's some two very strong teams.
00:12:29Oh, I like that.
00:12:31Now I'm going to have to really fight for the limelight in this group.
00:12:34I just don't want Kyron to stand up off his sofa and go,
00:12:35I'm not going to show Kyron.
00:12:38I'm now going, oh, my God.
00:12:40But you put yourself in a group of five, where you will only get 20%.
00:12:44I think it's much more awkward to have four people that talk not great than five people
00:12:49who talk really great.
00:12:51Mark my words, that team's going down.
00:12:54Yeah, because you've got to do 25% of the shows.
00:12:56Well, I can't wait to watch Graeme Norton interviewing Lavoie and friends.
00:13:02Kiki, why have you put yourself with the most outspoken, confident people?
00:13:07You've really stubbed your own toe there, or whatever the saying is.
00:13:12I'm down for getting this done, and we can save the chat for the actual show.
00:13:16So how about we separate into our group?
00:13:18I made the best for us to win.
00:13:20Let's do it.
00:13:20It's time to plan our stories.
00:13:26We're writing down little quotes, getting little anecdotes.
00:13:29Just creating a big soup full of life experience that hopefully Graeme would like to have a bowl of.
00:13:35Hello, lady kids.
00:13:39Let's give them something to talk about, shall we?
00:13:43This is a big group.
00:13:47Yeah, baby.
00:13:48Five of us.
00:13:49Oh my gosh.
00:13:49Super excited to talk to Rue today because, I mean, she's a superstar.
00:13:53She has so much experience in this.
00:13:54So I'm going to take every single thing that she has to say and keep it up here.
00:13:58Lil, what scares you the most about this?
00:14:00I'm just scared I'll say the most awful, terrible thing in the castle.
00:14:03Like, I know that I wouldn't, but there is that temptation there, isn't there?
00:14:08Yes, there is.
00:14:09Yeah, there is.
00:14:10What worries you, Marmalade?
00:14:11I think for me, I just want to take the spotlight the appropriate amount.
00:14:16So it's making sure that I interject at the right times with the right thing.
00:14:20Has anybody in this group been told, oh my God, you dominated that conversation?
00:14:25You have.
00:14:27Uh-huh.
00:14:29On a daily basis.
00:14:30Really?
00:14:31Yeah, I talk a lot.
00:14:32Uh-huh.
00:14:33Now, you were not in the top.
00:14:35You were safe last week.
00:14:37So how are you going to get in the top this week?
00:14:39I feel like this is my bag in terms of experience, if I can relax into it.
00:14:43Yeah.
00:14:43I want to tell him all my stories.
00:14:44I've just got to make sure I don't tell him too many.
00:14:46Shut up, la voir.
00:14:47That's what I'll be saying in my head.
00:14:49Well, you know, a kiki is a conversation, right?
00:14:52And are you conversational?
00:14:5424-7, like, I can talk a whole lot of shit about absolutely anything.
00:15:00My biggest concern is with myself.
00:15:02Me and my Rosham-Bosham-Jumble mind, I'm feeling like I really need to prepare and get my shit together.
00:15:09If you're able to just be yourself and naturally be yourself with your own charisma, uniqueness, urban talent, it's a shoo-in, you know?
00:15:17The more of that vulnerability that you're able to show.
00:15:20I'm quite emotional, to be fair.
00:15:22Well, let's see it.
00:15:24Yes.
00:15:25Let's see it.
00:15:26Let's show it more.
00:15:26I am soaking that up like a good old knowledge sponge.
00:15:31And then I'm just going to ring it out when the time is right.
00:15:36Ah, okay.
00:15:38Come on, metaphor.
00:15:39You know, I've been interviewing people for years.
00:15:42I've been interviewed for years.
00:15:43Is there anything you guys would like to ask me?
00:15:46You've been on the real Graham Lawton show.
00:15:48How do you handle that dynamic of knowing when it's your time and knowing when to give other people the time?
00:15:53It's very simple.
00:15:54You have to listen.
00:15:56You have to listen to the rhythm of what's happening.
00:15:58Okay.
00:15:59All right, kids.
00:15:59Thank you so much.
00:16:00All right.
00:16:02Hello.
00:16:03Hi.
00:16:03Hi.
00:16:04After being safe 45 weeks in a row, this is another opportunity to talk to Rue and let my personality shine through.
00:16:13Now, Charity.
00:16:14Yes.
00:16:15How are you going to stand out this week?
00:16:17I really have been having fun, but I need to push myself.
00:16:20You all were chosen for a reason.
00:16:24So meditate on that for a while, Charity, because that's what you should bring to this next challenge and every challenge thereafter.
00:16:31What makes you nervous about this, Chanel?
00:16:34I think for me, I love to talk.
00:16:37I love to give absolute dictionaries full of shit.
00:16:42Yeah.
00:16:42Well, the key here, though, is because you are on the couch with a lot of other people, is leaving space for other people to interject.
00:16:49I was going to ask you as well.
00:16:50It's just how would you recommend finding the balance of keeping it light whilst also letting people in on you?
00:16:57Yeah.
00:16:57Does that make sense?
00:16:57No, I think keeping it light is a good way to do it, but just make sure you're concise.
00:17:03You've got to keep it concise.
00:17:04My biggest concern for tomorrow is just letting my nerves get to me because I know if I do that, I'll start slurring on my words and I just won't be present.
00:17:11So I just hope that doesn't get in my way.
00:17:13Now, of course, Graham is one of the leading interviewers in the world.
00:17:19The challenge is to see if you can take the lead.
00:17:22I'm happy with my group, but my only concern is I'm not sure if there's going to be much of a bounce energetically.
00:17:27It's all about relaxing into it.
00:17:29Fingers crossed, Graham is able to bring that out of them because I don't want to go down and sink in shit.
00:17:34Well, we'll see you out there.
00:17:42Is everyone doing like a suit moment, like a dress?
00:17:45I think cocktail, like cocktail-y.
00:17:48This is like a salmon soup.
00:17:51Like it really feels like it's 50% being authentic and 50% like working off what other people are saying.
00:17:57But I think we're going to be really good.
00:17:59I think we're going to keep looking at your, can you say keep looking at your badges as well as your eyes?
00:18:02You put them equally above your eyes and I'm like, eyes badge, eyes badge.
00:18:05I'm so happy and proud of myself, you know what I mean?
00:18:08Where does your confidence come from?
00:18:10I mean, I worked really, really hard to be this confident.
00:18:13I used to hate myself.
00:18:17So where it came from was when I was younger, came out as gay at 13.
00:18:23Wow, that's really young.
00:18:25And I kind of felt like I was ready for a relationship, which is insane.
00:18:29And it kind of left me very vulnerable.
00:18:33Being online was kind of escapism, I guess.
00:18:36And there was a man who added me as a friend and we were speaking.
00:18:47He told me he was 19.
00:18:52He was actually 23.
00:18:53Eventually, we decided to meet up.
00:18:57He knew all the right things to say.
00:18:59I basically fell in love instantly.
00:19:02I was in love with this person, but not with who he really was, with who he was pretending to be.
00:19:09He abused me for a very long time.
00:19:13Oh, God.
00:19:13I knew something was wrong.
00:19:19I kept it a secret from my mum because I knew deep down it was wrong.
00:19:24But I did really feel like I loved him.
00:19:27In my brain, it was so crazy because I was telling myself, like, yeah, maybe he is a predator.
00:19:32Maybe he is a paedophile.
00:19:33But maybe I'm the one he's actually in love with.
00:19:35And when you didn't know, did you, at that age?
00:19:42No.
00:19:43I gave him everything.
00:19:46All of my innocence.
00:19:48All of my childhood.
00:19:51I'm so...
00:19:53angry that he robbed that from me.
00:19:59My mum.
00:20:01She was outbroken.
00:20:02She thought it was her fault.
00:20:04And then we went to the police.
00:20:10I wasn't going to take him to court until he reached out to one of my friends.
00:20:14With similar intentions.
00:20:16And that made me realise that this wasn't just about me.
00:20:21This was about countless other young people who went to court because it was the right thing to do.
00:20:28Not just for myself, but for my family, for other young people.
00:20:32He pled guilty.
00:20:34And he went to prison.
00:20:37It was just one of the hardest things.
00:20:39And it made me despise myself.
00:20:41Like, I hated myself so much because I saw everything falling apart around me.
00:20:47My mum would tell me to, like, look in the mirror every day and tell myself that I loved myself.
00:21:00I did it every single day before school and I didn't believe it and I hated it.
00:21:04And then I slowly started to believe it.
00:21:07And that's where this confidence comes from.
00:21:08But it has taken so many years for me to look at myself in the mirror and think highly of myself.
00:21:17To be that rock bottom, but to build yourself up, you have every right to walk in that workroom and say, I'm pretty confident and I'm good and I'm, you know, amazing.
00:21:25You are.
00:21:25To come out of that situation and be how he is now, good on you, Kieran.
00:21:32You should own every moment of your life after that chapter because no one should go through that.
00:21:38You keep going, kid.
00:21:41I love you.
00:21:43I love you too.
00:21:46I'm rubbing all my bin smell on you and you smell like old lady.
00:21:50I smell like old lady.
00:21:57We're back.
00:21:59Yes, yes, yes, yes.
00:22:01What are you doing?
00:22:02Another day in the market.
00:22:03I have spent many a night imagining my Graham Norton interview moment and I am thrilled for it finally to come true.
00:22:12It's chat show day, guys.
00:22:14It's chat show day.
00:22:14We're going to be on the Graham Norton show.
00:22:16Chat show day.
00:22:18I think everyone's a little bit nervous for this one because no one knows how it's going to go.
00:22:25We're going to get you some critiques today for good reason.
00:22:27Yes, I hope so.
00:22:29For good reason, Baba.
00:22:29So, if you could interview, like, any celebrity, who would you love to interview?
00:22:35That's a really good question.
00:22:37Tiffany Pollard.
00:22:38Oh my God.
00:22:40She is unpredictable.
00:22:43I really, really want to interview Holly Jervis.
00:22:46I have trained.
00:22:47I have trained for years.
00:22:49Here I am.
00:22:49Here's my stage.
00:22:51I'm Holly Jervis.
00:22:52This is my stage.
00:22:52I am Akiti.
00:22:53I'd like to interview Sean Bean, because I think he's one of the most handsome men alive.
00:23:00If you were to interview someone, would you let the interviewee speak as well?
00:23:03Oh!
00:23:04Ah!
00:23:05Sorry!
00:23:06I would.
00:23:07I was using violence today.
00:23:09Not you two in the same group.
00:23:11The queens love saying that I love to talk.
00:23:14Imagine if I didn't talk.
00:23:16No one would speak.
00:23:16It'd be so boring.
00:23:17I will say this, Chara.
00:23:19See, when you're a guest on an interview, it's really good to be nice to people.
00:23:22So try and do that when you're in the interview.
00:23:24Oh, I will.
00:23:25Don't worry.
00:23:27I don't think she took that very well.
00:23:29We all know Chanel likes to talk.
00:23:31It's not a bad thing.
00:23:33Oh.
00:23:34Welcome to the main stage of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.
00:23:38Michelle Visage.
00:23:40Now, do you remember your first time on the Graham Norton Show?
00:23:43Oh, how could I forget?
00:23:44I got to perform my single with my brothers and sisters in Steps.
00:23:49It was very exciting for me.
00:23:50But the most exciting part, Ru, was actually being on the Graham Norton Show.
00:23:54Our national treasure, Graham Norton.
00:23:57Do you remember your first time on the Graham Norton Show?
00:24:01Surprisingly, I do.
00:24:03And if you're interested, there is a wax cylinder recording of it.
00:24:06Ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:24:07And our extra special guest judge, everybody's favorite Steph, Claire Richards.
00:24:14Do you remember your first time?
00:24:16I embarrassed myself by lunging at Dame Judi Dench.
00:24:21She hates that.
00:24:22I know.
00:24:23Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:24:25This week, we challenged our queens to be standout guests on the Graham Norton Show.
00:24:31And tonight on the runway, category is, how's your headpiece?
00:24:36Racers, start your engines.
00:24:38And may the best drag queen win.
00:24:40Next, here on the BBC, a special edition of the Graham Norton Show.
00:24:54Hello, yes, and welcome to the Graham Norton Show, the touring production.
00:25:00Yeah.
00:25:01And hello to our lovely studio audience.
00:25:03Hello.
00:25:04Hi.
00:25:06I know this is odd.
00:25:06It's like a show within a show.
00:25:08Think of this as an entertainment hairball that's been coughed up by Rube.
00:25:12Okay?
00:25:13That's what you'll get.
00:25:14Let's get some guests on.
00:25:16Orange Sheet, Glad She Came, it's Marmalade.
00:25:22Big in Manchester, it's Lil.
00:25:27Ready to spill the Stockton Auntie, it's La Boise.
00:25:32She's infectious, it's Kyron Prax.
00:25:35Here to Snatch Respond Light, it's Pinky Snatch.
00:25:42Yay!
00:25:43Oh, love.
00:25:45The time has come.
00:25:46We're joining Graham on his chat show.
00:25:48What is going on?
00:25:50Welcome all.
00:25:51Lovely to see you all.
00:25:52Good.
00:25:52Good.
00:25:53Yes.
00:25:54Now, I know you've interviewed some iconic women, Graham, but don't be nervous that I'm
00:25:57finally on your sofa.
00:25:58I know it is.
00:25:59It's nice to hang out with your fans, isn't it?
00:26:01That's what I always do.
00:26:05All right, let's get going.
00:26:07La Voie.
00:26:07La Voie.
00:26:08You do all sorts of gigs, weddings, bar mitzvahs, all sorts.
00:26:11Is it hard to keep track of the gigs you're doing?
00:26:13Oh, why have you mentioned the weddings?
00:26:14Weddings are always my nemesis.
00:26:16I had a terrible experience.
00:26:17We're going back many years.
00:26:18It was the 90s when I was doing the clubs and pubs.
00:26:20It was a couple, a gay couple, organizing a wedding.
00:26:23La Voie, we want you to burst in, you know, and go, surprise!
00:26:26Everyone will react, great wedding surprise.
00:26:28So I finished this gig and I was in Soho.
00:26:30And you know you get those rickshaws with the techno music and the lights all around?
00:26:33You never get in them, do you?
00:26:35But I was like, this is the moment.
00:26:36This is an entrance to make, isn't it?
00:26:38I arrive, I think it was the Royal Academy of Art.
00:26:40It was a very swanky wedding.
00:26:41Oh, fancy.
00:26:42And I burst in and went, surprise!
00:26:44And the groom walked all the way around the entire wedding party and came up to me and
00:26:47said, can we help you?
00:26:49Ooh.
00:26:50And I realized I'd got the wrong wedding.
00:26:51It was the Royal Institute of Art, not the Royal Academy of Art.
00:26:54So just when I was trying to leave, I opened the door and the rickshaw is pulling away
00:26:58and I went, stop!
00:27:02Obviously all of you, you know, perform all over the place.
00:27:05But Kiki Snatch, I believe you took drag to new heights.
00:27:09Oh, I did.
00:27:10And when you say new heights, it was literal.
00:27:13Jumping out of a plane.
00:27:15What?
00:27:16Girl, child.
00:27:16In drag?
00:27:17In drag, full drag.
00:27:19Imagine plummeting, conquering my fears of heights in a new fashion and a new form.
00:27:23Okay.
00:27:24It was terrifying.
00:27:26Why were you doing it?
00:27:27I was doing it for a charity.
00:27:29Oh, yeah.
00:27:29You were doing it for a charity.
00:27:30I wasn't just conquering justice.
00:27:32But for...
00:27:33It wasn't just a flight that went wrong.
00:27:35Child, if it was a flight that went wrong, then I don't know about it.
00:27:39I know what Michelle's thinking.
00:27:40Michelle's thinking, was Kiki wearing heels?
00:27:43I was thinking that, to be fair.
00:27:44And they were like, no.
00:27:45Health and safety.
00:27:46I might pop the parachute.
00:27:47And I was like, I don't want to do that.
00:27:48Imagine if you died wearing flats.
00:27:50Awful.
00:27:52Or a little pussy hair.
00:27:54No, child.
00:27:55You've got to have the inches.
00:27:57So, Karin Trax, now we've got to know you.
00:27:59You're very particular about certain things.
00:28:01And I just wondered, have you been that fussy for as long as you can remember?
00:28:04I always have been.
00:28:05To the point where I even hate potato smiley faces.
00:28:09Yeah.
00:28:10What?
00:28:10I know, nobody hates potato smiley faces, but I do.
00:28:14Okay.
00:28:14Okay.
00:28:15So, my mum used to make them for tea.
00:28:17So, I had the cunning idea to take them off my plate and to stuff them underneath the sofa.
00:28:22No.
00:28:23Yep.
00:28:23Yep.
00:28:24So, eventually, she moved the sofa out the way to do some hoovering.
00:28:27And there it was.
00:28:28Oh.
00:28:29Oh.
00:28:30This mouldy mess.
00:28:31A potato smiley face is just grimacing up at her.
00:28:34And she never bought them again.
00:28:35In fact, we basically just had jacket potatoes after that, because I couldn't fit them underneath.
00:28:38All right, let's go on.
00:28:41Drag, they say drag is pain.
00:28:43But, Lil, you have taken that to new levels.
00:28:46So, basically, it all began when I got bit by a pig at the petting zoo.
00:28:50Ooh.
00:28:50And I feel like it cursed me.
00:28:52Oh, no.
00:28:52Because from then on in, it was just disaster after accident.
00:28:56I got stigmata.
00:28:57What's that?
00:28:57You know, like what Jesus had on his hand.
00:28:59Was it a religious pig?
00:29:01Well, it wasn't real stigmata.
00:29:04I had a loft bed, you know, with like a desk and stuff.
00:29:08Oh, lovely, yes.
00:29:09And I was coming down the stairs the wrong way.
00:29:11And I grasped onto the front of the door.
00:29:12And my dad hadn't sanded the top of the door off.
00:29:14So, it pulled all the skin off my hands.
00:29:16Oh.
00:29:17Ooh.
00:29:17And I went to Catholic school.
00:29:18So, when I got in in the morning, he was like, why were you late?
00:29:20I was like.
00:29:23All of this happened on the same day.
00:29:25Same day, yeah.
00:29:26Was it Christmas?
00:29:27Was it Christmas Day?
00:29:27Why was a pig in your bedroom underneath your carpet?
00:29:29All right, let's get personal now.
00:29:33Because let's talk about dating.
00:29:35Because Marmalade, you're in a relationship.
00:29:40Relationship's a strong word.
00:29:41I wouldn't say boyfriend.
00:29:42I would say hobby.
00:29:44But, you know, we're both very different.
00:29:47Yeah.
00:29:47He's very religious.
00:29:49So, he's taught me a lot about religion, about Jesus.
00:29:52And I've never read the Bible.
00:29:54Okay.
00:29:54Jesus is sort of the main character.
00:29:56He's sort of the Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City.
00:29:59Or the Lorraine in Lorraine.
00:30:05He invented Stigmata, didn't he?
00:30:07Exactly.
00:30:09Graham knows about it.
00:30:10You were older.
00:30:10You got a signed edition, didn't you?
00:30:12Yeah, absolutely.
00:30:12Of course.
00:30:13It wasn't finished when I got it.
00:30:15He actually made me realize I've got a lot in common with people like Jesus.
00:30:20Like, I've got a lot of friends that are prostitutes.
00:30:23We've both been nailed over a plank of wood by three Italian men.
00:30:28Oh, great.
00:30:29Yeah.
00:30:29And I've never met my father.
00:30:31That's so beautiful.
00:30:33Oh, my God.
00:30:34Listen, I could talk to you all night.
00:30:36Oh, wait, I have.
00:30:38Please thank all of my guests tonight.
00:30:39Kiki Snatch.
00:30:41Tyron Drax.
00:30:44Lavoie.
00:30:46Nil.
00:30:47And Marmarlie.
00:30:48I could have done a little bit more.
00:30:53It happens.
00:30:55Sometimes being thrown in the deep end, you just need to learn for swim.
00:30:59I'm a cat swim.
00:31:05Hello and welcome back to The Graham Norton Show.
00:31:08And you'll be glad to know my celebrity book is still in a K-hole.
00:31:11So, it's another drag queen special.
00:31:14Woo-hoo!
00:31:16Let's get some guests on.
00:31:18From St. Lucia with love, it's Lisa Slade.
00:31:23She comes in many flavors.
00:31:25It's Charity.
00:31:28From the Isle of Booty, it's Chanel O'Connor.
00:31:33She's got guts and they're healthy.
00:31:35It's Octavia.
00:31:37Hey!
00:31:38I'm excited.
00:31:40Graham Norton's interview and release a slice.
00:31:42Here we go.
00:31:43Hello, ladies.
00:31:44Welcome all.
00:31:45Hello.
00:31:45Hi.
00:31:45It's lovely to see you all.
00:31:47All right, let's get to it.
00:31:48You know, we've got drinks here and we're lucky.
00:31:50We kind of work and socialize us all together and it's nice.
00:31:54But does it ever get out of hand?
00:31:55I don't know why I'm looking at you, Octavia, but I am.
00:31:58Honestly, yes.
00:31:59I very much have the personality of all or nothing.
00:32:02So, I was offered a gig in somewhere very glamorous, also known as Leeds.
00:32:08Yes.
00:32:09So, I was very excited to work there, went there, and the first mistake I did was say
00:32:14yes to drinking some alcoholic beverages.
00:32:17And one quickly turned into two, two quickly turned into a dozen, and let's just say, by
00:32:22the end of that brunch, the drinks had hit me harder than the first brick at Stonewall.
00:32:25Okay!
00:32:26So, yes.
00:32:27The night goes on and what do I do?
00:32:29I miss my last train home.
00:32:31Oh.
00:32:32Yes.
00:32:32But it doesn't even, it gets worse.
00:32:35I, then, I like to tell people, I, the suitcase was stolen, but typically, me being me, I probably
00:32:41just lost it.
00:32:42And then it doesn't end there.
00:32:44So, I lost that.
00:32:45And then my bank card was also stolen.
00:32:47So, I think, yeah, I've definitely taken it a few, yeah, a few times too far.
00:32:51Now, Chanel O'Connor, beautiful woman like you.
00:32:53You must have the pick of the tricks.
00:32:55Oh, honey bun bee.
00:32:57It's a lovely life I live.
00:32:58It's late at night, and sometimes you go have a wee look on, on the, the apps, eBay, that
00:33:02kind of thing.
00:33:03Charity's been very judgy over there.
00:33:04She's been, what's Grindr?
00:33:06I've never, I've never heard of that.
00:33:08So, this one night, I go to this guy's house.
00:33:11As I'm walking down the corridor, I start seeing pictures of Sigourney Weaver.
00:33:17Pictures of the aliens from Alien.
00:33:19Pictures of the predators.
00:33:21So, I'm, okay, he's a sci-fi buff.
00:33:23We kind of get to a room that's all pitch black, and he's like, do you want to see
00:33:27something?
00:33:28He turns on the light, and there is a one-to-one scale replica of a giant alien.
00:33:35In that moment, what any normal person would do, what would you guys do?
00:33:38You would leave.
00:33:39Yeah, you would leave.
00:33:40Yeah, you would leave.
00:33:41Obviously, I have sex with him, because no danger, no fear.
00:33:45Let's go for it.
00:33:48Charity.
00:33:48Obviously, world-famous drag queen now, but when, when you were starting off making a
00:33:52name for yourself, how hard was that?
00:33:54Well, in Belfast, there's like three drag queens, and they've all been on this show.
00:33:59I mean, but I lived in Belfast for a little bit, and then I moved to England, and I got
00:34:04my first drag booking in the city of big lights and big dreams, Huddersfield.
00:34:08Now, I was really excited, saw the poster, the Blah Blah Blah Bar Presents Charity, Belfast's
00:34:16premier dancing queen.
00:34:17Now, but if you saw me last week, you would know I am not a dancer, okay?
00:34:21She's not lying.
00:34:23No, I am really not lying.
00:34:25And so, I come up on stage, and I'm thinking, what am I going to do?
00:34:29So, like any normal drag queen, I do a three and a half set to head, shoulders, knees, and
00:34:35toes.
00:34:36Luckily for me, on the poster at the very bottom, absolutely no refunds.
00:34:42So, I learned two things that night.
00:34:44Number one, I can't dance for shit.
00:34:47Number two, always read the small print.
00:34:51It's pretty sad.
00:34:52Obviously, all the audiences love you, but you've had some quite extreme reactions from
00:34:56audience members.
00:34:57I mean, Graham, you know I don't normally wear this much clothes.
00:35:00I had a gig once, so there's always the straight blokes, like who the girls bring to the
00:35:04gig.
00:35:04Like, I was like, okay, cool.
00:35:05He's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:35:06Get my friend, get my friend.
00:35:08Yeah, because I asked who wanted to have a lap dance.
00:35:09But I was like, you know what?
00:35:10I'm going to take both of you.
00:35:11So, I put both of them in the chair.
00:35:13I was going to my little cootie, cootie, coot, coot, coot, coot, coot, coot, coot, coot,
00:35:15coot, coot, coot, coot, coot, coot, coot, coot, coot, coot.
00:35:16And then, like, flash to the end of the gig, I'm like, why is he arguing with his girlfriend?
00:35:24Apparently, he had a boner.
00:35:27Like, a raging boner after my gig.
00:35:30And I was like, baby, if you're going to bring your man to my gig, you've got to read the
00:35:35fine print.
00:35:36And obviously, you're all famous now, but did you ever have any encounters with fame
00:35:42before you became famous?
00:35:44My mother, she has an unhealthy love for Cliff Richard.
00:35:49Now, that's fair.
00:35:49This is serious.
00:35:50Yeah, this is serious.
00:35:51There are shrines in my house.
00:35:53She's got a calendar in the bathroom, a calendar in the bedroom, a calendar in the kitchen.
00:35:58And we went to Portugal for a summer holiday.
00:36:01Little did I know, that's where Cliff Richard lives.
00:36:03Right.
00:36:04We met him.
00:36:05Oh, you did?
00:36:05Yeah, we did.
00:36:06Oh, my God.
00:36:07And she was in hysterics.
00:36:08Didn't speak to him.
00:36:08But I had a lovely chat with Cliff Richard.
00:36:10And I were besties.
00:36:11We've got a good chat.
00:36:12It's fabulous.
00:36:15Listen, it's been lovely to talk to you, but we're out of time.
00:36:18So, please, thank all of my guests tonight.
00:36:20Octavia.
00:36:21Chanel O'Connor.
00:36:24Charity.
00:36:26And release the slaves.
00:36:28I think I've done enough.
00:36:30RuPaul laughed.
00:36:31Can't confirm how many times, but I heard a chuckle.
00:36:35Good night, everybody.
00:36:36Bye-bye.
00:36:40The world is your right way.
00:36:43Category is, how's your head, Pete?
00:36:46Up first, mama lady.
00:36:48Oh, I love your mug tree.
00:36:51Where'd you get it?
00:36:53Tonight, my look is Adrian.
00:36:56My look is Ziegfeld Follies.
00:36:58My look is retro futurism.
00:37:01She's getting her pile on.
00:37:03My headpiece is so large, it reaches all the way around and encases both of my arms.
00:37:11I feel like a big roll of tinfoil.
00:37:14Wrap me up and stick me in the oven at 250.
00:37:17That marmalade foiled again.
00:37:21Up next, Kiki Snatch.
00:37:23Ooh, this angel can touch me any time.
00:37:28I am serving ballerina meets biblical angel.
00:37:34Angels were represented as scary.
00:37:36I'm giving you the pretty scary bad bitch.
00:37:40There, there.
00:37:40I don't even know her.
00:37:41Even though this tinfoil head is heavy, I feel like a hundred bucks.
00:37:50Scratch that.
00:37:51I feel like 25K.
00:37:54Yeah, go pluck yourself.
00:37:58Up next, Lil.
00:38:01Ooh, come on, Rebe Jackson Centipede.
00:38:03I wrote down, what did Rebe Jackson say?
00:38:05I'm serving you a gorgeous purple velvet, Schiaparelli-inspired look.
00:38:12My headpiece is inspired by life on the front and death at the back.
00:38:17Looks a little grubby.
00:38:19Not the boar worms.
00:38:22I think this look definitely sums up my drag.
00:38:24I look luxurious, I look expensive.
00:38:28I am not giving cumin centipede.
00:38:31It looks purple and sore.
00:38:33I've said that before.
00:38:35Now presenting, Le Bois.
00:38:39Coming to you from the Blackpool, Tropicana.
00:38:44Bam, I am bringing it.
00:38:46Color, color, color.
00:38:47I'm wearing neon, I look like I've been colored in by a highlighter.
00:38:50I get to the bottom and bam!
00:38:53Lovely.
00:38:54I would shimmy, but my headpiece is too big, I don't want it to fall off.
00:38:56It's her lunatic fringe.
00:38:59Her name was Le La Bois.
00:39:02I mean, if you're going to do a headdress, you want fruit and feathers, don't you?
00:39:04I'm going to go big, big, big.
00:39:06Bite my head.
00:39:08Le Bois.
00:39:09Now in all the flavors.
00:39:12Up next, K-Ron.
00:39:14Oh, here she comes.
00:39:21I am wearing a head, headpiece.
00:39:24My entire body is covered in molds of my actual face.
00:39:28Let me set the scene.
00:39:29There are a million chyrenthraxes and they've been shoved into a big vat of toxic waste and
00:39:34they've crawled out looking like this as one being at the end.
00:39:37That's the vibe.
00:39:38Sit on my face.
00:39:40Literally.
00:39:40Not that one.
00:39:43The crazy thing about me is I'll look at myself covered in ears and I'll go, this is the
00:39:48most gorgeous and feminine I've ever felt in my life.
00:39:50Listen, we all have ideas of beauty and fashion and this is mine.
00:39:54But how do I cook it?
00:39:58Up next, Chanel O'Connor.
00:40:01Lawrence Chaney.
00:40:02I am serving haberdasher headpiece with pins, buttons and chains galore.
00:40:11She's cute as a button.
00:40:15This look is a homage to my love of dressmaking.
00:40:18I made this look completely myself.
00:40:20The headpiece, not I'm a sexy seamstress.
00:40:24Let me shove a pin in you.
00:40:26If you pull one of them, she flushes.
00:40:27Up next, Releesa Lisa.
00:40:33Ooh, liar, liar, pussy on fire.
00:40:36Come on, Carnival.
00:40:38I'm giving you Trinidad vibrations like she's giving you full-on island sauce,
00:40:43headpiece, wings, body out, flesh on shore, ready for wine, Panama.
00:40:49Her wings are great.
00:40:52I look hot, like on fire hot, like I'm giving you the phoenix rising from the ashes.
00:41:02Yes.
00:41:03Nando's spokeswoman.
00:41:04Come on, Perry Perry sauce.
00:41:06Okay.
00:41:08Up next, Octavia.
00:41:09Girls are clowned.
00:41:12This week, it's a bit of a different silhouette for me.
00:41:15It's a bit more pretty, it's a bit more girly.
00:41:17And honestly, I feel like a walking fashion art piece.
00:41:20I mean, I don't know what type of fashion art piece, but I feel like one.
00:41:26Yes, the headpiece is a little bit smaller, but what this look says about me, that I'm
00:41:35a massive puff.
00:41:37And honestly, you've never seen a puff like me.
00:41:40A's, A's, A's across the board.
00:41:43Up next, Charity.
00:41:46She's got mouths.
00:41:48I have come as a broken gumball machine.
00:41:53I feel like this is Charity 2AT.
00:41:57And I feel incredible and very, very clammy.
00:42:00Not the first gobstopper she's encountered.
00:42:02Not the last.
00:42:04My face is cracked and there is gumballs dripping all over my dress.
00:42:08I am just smiling and nodding at everything they say because I cannot hear a word.
00:42:14I love this look at first, but it's starting to lose its flavor.
00:42:18And so quickly.
00:42:19Welcome, Queens.
00:42:24I've made some decisions.
00:42:27When I call your name, please step forward.
00:42:30You may leave the stage.
00:42:35Chanel O'Connor.
00:42:37Release Elisa.
00:42:41Ladies, you are all safe.
00:42:46You may leave the stage.
00:42:49Queens, you represent the tops and bottoms of the week.
00:42:58Now it's time for the judges' critiques.
00:43:00First up, Marmalade.
00:43:02Hello, Marmalade.
00:43:03Hi, Michelle.
00:43:04On the Graham Norton show, you were extremely charming.
00:43:09The Lorraine in, um, Lorraine.
00:43:12I was kind of worried about you.
00:43:13I sort of didn't feel maybe you were listening.
00:43:15But when I got to you, you chose a kind of a different angle than the others.
00:43:19You ended up standing out.
00:43:21You were really able to deliver those jokes.
00:43:22They were, it was great.
00:43:23You were funny and you looked incredible as well.
00:43:26Tonight on the runway, this is absolutely beautiful.
00:43:29And it's doing something that you haven't really done before because you're covered.
00:43:35It's not just pure chic glamour.
00:43:39It's, it's sort of fantastical.
00:43:40This, I think it's stunning.
00:43:42Oh, thank you, Claire from Set.
00:43:46Thank you all.
00:43:47All right, up next, Lil.
00:43:49What I particularly liked about you was that you were really present.
00:43:53It all began when I got bit by a pig.
00:43:55There was something very natural about the way you responded to other people.
00:43:58If people interrupted your story, you didn't put you off, you were still in it.
00:44:01It's really easy to get thrown off in those kind of situations.
00:44:04I think the story was really funny.
00:44:05I feel like you're not putting on anything.
00:44:07It's just Lil, and that makes my heart sing.
00:44:09We got to know more about you.
00:44:12Tonight, I think this is beautiful.
00:44:13Your shape is there.
00:44:14Your face framed in that beautiful heart shape and that beautiful aubergine colour.
00:44:18I mean, isn't it really embarrassing when things like this happen?
00:44:22I feel like I've got the same dress on.
00:44:24I just forgot to put my gold bits.
00:44:26I mean, it's beautiful.
00:44:27Okay.
00:44:28Last question.
00:44:29How's your head?
00:44:30Painful.
00:44:35Thank you, Lil.
00:44:36Up next, Kiki Snatch.
00:44:39I really appreciated your kind of attack when you were on the sofa, but I felt like maybe
00:44:44you were trying to be someone you thought I wanted you to be.
00:44:48Child, if it was a flat that went wrong, then I don't know about it.
00:44:51Felt like too much performance was going on.
00:44:53Listen, we all do the performative thing on talk shows, but it could have used just a little
00:44:57bit more humanity in there.
00:44:59Yeah.
00:44:59Because you've got it.
00:45:00You are human, right?
00:45:02I think so.
00:45:05I kind of got the feeling you were a little bit uncomfortable.
00:45:08I think what I was distracted by was what you chose to wear.
00:45:11It was more of a club look, but tonight is beautiful.
00:45:14You have a fantastic body.
00:45:16And listen, you can get away with anything, but there is a more refined Kiki to be found,
00:45:21and you have to find that for yourself.
00:45:24Okay.
00:45:24Thank you so much.
00:45:25Thank you, everybody.
00:45:26Up next, La Voix.
00:45:27If someone could ace being a chat show guest, you did that tonight.
00:45:32I was really, really impressed.
00:45:33It's nice to hang out with your fans, isn't it?
00:45:35That's what I always find.
00:45:36If somebody hadn't found the funny in their own story, you found it for them.
00:45:40You were the glue that held everybody together.
00:45:42You were dynamic, and I was riveted by your performance.
00:45:45Every time you spoke, it was funny, and I think it made everybody else on the couch feel
00:45:49really at ease.
00:45:49It just felt like a natural conversation.
00:45:52You could have been on any talk show in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and beyond.
00:45:57Yeah, it wasn't around then.
00:45:58Don't push it.
00:46:01This is another crowd pleaser.
00:46:03You came around the corner, and it took my breath away.
00:46:04It's sensational.
00:46:06It's very Steps 1999, which I love.
00:46:08Yes!
00:46:09I was there!
00:46:10Yes!
00:46:11I'm pretty sure I wore exactly that.
00:46:13This is yours.
00:46:14I think it might be.
00:46:15I love it.
00:46:17And I love the way that you do drag, and I love what you represent.
00:46:20It is just brilliant.
00:46:22Oh.
00:46:23You know, I started drag when it was underground, and I always excused it.
00:46:27I wasn't proud to be a drag queen.
00:46:28This is what I grew up with.
00:46:29And I didn't want to try and be something I'm not.
00:46:32I know this is a cliched Carmen Miranda feather headdress, but I was like, I'm going to wear
00:46:35it.
00:46:36It's going to be big.
00:46:37And for you to see that, I don't get told that.
00:46:42Yeah.
00:46:45Well done.
00:46:47Up next, Octavia.
00:46:50I have to say, your couch had a harder job, because you didn't have Lavoie on it.
00:46:54You were flying a bit more solo.
00:46:55You knew there's funny in here, and then you never really found the funny in the story.
00:47:01I've definitely taken it a few times too far.
00:47:04I felt like you got a little bit lost amongst that sofa.
00:47:07You know, there were parts of it that were really cute, but it kind of fell flat for me.
00:47:11I would have lied and made a bigger punchline for it.
00:47:14Had you ended the story by just saying, my name is Octavia, and I'm an alcoholic.
00:47:21This is actually my intervention.
00:47:26Tonight, I think this look is really fun.
00:47:28It's very fashion with the style of this dress.
00:47:30It's really fun.
00:47:31You look like a little magic cloud, which I love.
00:47:34I mean, it is how's my hat, not how's my headpiece.
00:47:38Yeah, headpiece, okay, sure.
00:47:40But it's so gorgeous.
00:47:42My favorite look, you walk down this runway.
00:47:46Up next, Charity.
00:47:47The story you chose to kind of focus on, the dancing one, there is a joke in there.
00:47:51You know, they booked a dance, so you're not a dancer.
00:47:53But no story gets better by making it longer.
00:47:56But then, you know, you had your other story with your mom, and you saved yourself.
00:47:59But I had a lovely chat with Cliff Richard.
00:48:01Then I were besties.
00:48:01It was a good chat.
00:48:02What's that?
00:48:03It's fabulous.
00:48:03You were so charming on the couch.
00:48:06You're very, there's a sweetness about you.
00:48:08And that came across.
00:48:09Your stories were good, but your aesthetic was a bit like the lost member of the Wiggles.
00:48:15That yellow was too yellow for you.
00:48:17I liked your outfit.
00:48:19I thought, I think that's you.
00:48:20I thought you stood out.
00:48:22Tonight, this look is amazing.
00:48:25I think you paint yourself really well.
00:48:27You're one of the paintiest queens in this competition.
00:48:29This is fabulous.
00:48:30I mean, it's completely out there.
00:48:32It's one thing to have the idea, but it's another thing to execute it.
00:48:36And that's what you've done so brilliantly.
00:48:38Thank you very much.
00:48:40Thank you, queens.
00:48:41I think we've heard enough.
00:48:42While you and Tuck in the workroom, the judges and I will deliberate.
00:48:45You may leave the stage.
00:48:47Is this your first week being safe?
00:48:52No, I was safe in design challenge.
00:48:54Okay, so my track record is...
00:48:56Oh, fuck me.
00:48:58Oh, that's a really nice light over there.
00:48:59Win, safe, high.
00:49:01I like that topic over there.
00:49:02This is a nice umbrella.
00:49:03I like that umbrella.
00:49:04It's a really cool umbrella.
00:49:05Win, win, win.
00:49:10We got these shoes off.
00:49:11Oh my God.
00:49:12Hello.
00:49:13What's going on?
00:49:14Take it off.
00:49:15Take it off.
00:49:16Oh.
00:49:16Oh, that's all lovely.
00:49:18So, how's everyone doing?
00:49:19LaVoir, I can't help but notice you're looking very happy.
00:49:22Well, that was just possibly the most beautiful critiques I ever could have wished for.
00:49:29I cried.
00:49:30I got really emotional.
00:49:32I just feel like I've finally been seen.
00:49:34Seen and recognised.
00:49:36What a great day to be LaVoir.
00:49:39Tonight, I think the first time I feel like I'm part of it and I'm not the older one on the outside desperately trying to keep up.
00:49:45LaVoir, you are a superstar.
00:49:47I know, it's a bit silly, but that's sometimes how I feel.
00:49:50But you're amazing.
00:49:51Miss Chara, it's your first time not being safe.
00:49:54Hey.
00:49:55How are we feeling?
00:49:56I wish I was safe.
00:49:57I mean, I'm definitely in the bottom, but getting to have that chat with Ru and Michelle and Graeme and Claire from Steps was just, it was so nice.
00:50:07Obviously, I'm not buzzing about being in the bottom, but I just can't help but feel amazing.
00:50:13I'm so deluded.
00:50:14I just don't know how the hell I'm going to lip sync with a fishbowl on my head.
00:50:20Octavia, what are you thinking?
00:50:22Yeah, similar to Chara, really.
00:50:23It was just kind of a thing of shortening down.
00:50:26I feel like, personally, it is going to be me and Kiki, but I'm ready to put on a show, so.
00:50:34Um, like Ru said, it felt like that wasn't me and that I was playing a character.
00:50:44Speak on it.
00:50:45I am this big kerfuffle that no one's ever understood because I didn't even understand myself.
00:50:57That's why the Kikisms happen, because that's the only way that I know how to just talk on anything and I don't know.
00:51:07You're not listening to what Ru said.
00:51:09You change and you grow and that's not a negative Kiki.
00:51:12So please don't take that as a negative.
00:51:13It was really lovely comments.
00:51:15Yeah.
00:51:15Yeah, it's just disappointing to be here again.
00:51:19Also, I did want to ask, because obviously we didn't get to see each other, so I want to ask the other group.
00:51:24Did you work well?
00:51:25Did anybody step over?
00:51:26Did, like, how did that go?
00:51:27I will say, Chara, it was really hard when you said, just before we were starting this challenge,
00:51:32Chanel, you're going to speak over everyone.
00:51:35And it's something that follows me around all the time.
00:51:39And I've had that on my mind instantly.
00:51:41And it is so hard to try and, like, think what I'm saying all the time.
00:51:51But I am never going to silence myself.
00:51:56Chanel.
00:51:56I mean, it's Chara, like, if she's saying a shady comment, it's because she thinks it's, you know, it's harmless fun.
00:52:02She's not a mean person.
00:52:04Like, read the room.
00:52:06No, I'm sorry that I came across that way, because I did just mean that as a joke.
00:52:09And I'm sorry that it got in your head, because that wasn't my attention.
00:52:11That's okay.
00:52:12Thank you, Charity.
00:52:13I am not going to change for nobody.
00:52:15I'm going to speak until time itself dies of boredom.
00:52:21For anyone who needs to get practised in, meaning me and most likely Kiki, would you like to go listen to the song?
00:52:26When you say it, it seems so shady, but it's also facts.
00:52:29And yes, I would.
00:52:30It's not shady.
00:52:31Come on, girl.
00:52:32All right, just between us squirrel friends, what do you think?
00:52:36Let's start with Marmalade.
00:52:38I find her so intriguing, so I kind of thought she'd bring more to the couch.
00:52:43But compared to some of the others, she was a knockout.
00:52:45I wouldn't say boyfriend, I would say hobby.
00:52:48I feel like we waited too long to hear something from her.
00:52:51Could she have interjected earlier?
00:52:52Absolutely.
00:52:53But she really did deliver when she did open her mouth.
00:52:56And then on the runway, I love this kid's references.
00:52:59Good night tonight.
00:53:01Let's talk about Lil.
00:53:02Unlike some of the others, being who they thought they should be on a talk show, Lil was Lil.
00:53:06She's very comfortable in her own skin.
00:53:09I was like...
00:53:09She's just real.
00:53:12And then on the runway, it was almost like fashion armour, that incredible headpiece.
00:53:17I think, obviously, Purple Velvet.
00:53:19I think Purple Velvet's amazing.
00:53:21All right, let's talk about Kiki Snatch.
00:53:23That performance on the chat show didn't feel real or authentic.
00:53:27She has all the energy that we need.
00:53:29The issue is, it felt like she was performing a character sketch.
00:53:32No, child.
00:53:33You gotta have the inches.
00:53:35I just kind of want to give a little shake and go, come on.
00:53:37Just be yourself a little bit more.
00:53:39And then tonight on the runway, I thought what she did was really, really beautiful.
00:53:43Let's talk about La Voix.
00:53:45There are some guests you book on chat shows that you always know they're going to deliver.
00:53:49And I think she did that.
00:53:50Was it a religious pig?
00:53:51I am funny.
00:53:53La Voix is show business.
00:53:55With the timing, the professionalism.
00:53:57It was absolutely where she could shine.
00:54:00Triple A's all around, and then tonight on the runway.
00:54:03This is old school drag, and I do not ever want it to go away.
00:54:07I thought it was beautiful.
00:54:08It was everything you want to see.
00:54:09I loved it.
00:54:11Let's talk about Octavia.
00:54:12It's hard to fail with a story that starts, I was so drunk last night, I.
00:54:16You know, but somehow she lost her way.
00:54:20One quickly tented to two.
00:54:22Two quickly tented to a dozen.
00:54:23Her stories went on and on with no real payoff.
00:54:26But I loved her runway look.
00:54:28Really cute.
00:54:29We've never seen her do a look like this, and I thought it was fantastic.
00:54:33Let's talk about Charity.
00:54:34She knew that a funny thing had happened to her.
00:54:36A funny thing happened in Huddersfield.
00:54:38She kind of overcomplicated it.
00:54:40She felt like, oh, it needs to be more.
00:54:42It didn't.
00:54:43But that runway, it made me happy.
00:54:45How different was that?
00:54:46How smart was that?
00:54:47That was where she absolutely shone.
00:54:49The proportions of that, everything was right.
00:54:51It was so beautiful.
00:54:52And I think we need to keep our eyes on that one.
00:54:54Silence.
00:54:55I've made my decision.
00:54:57Bring back my girls.
00:55:01Welcome back, queens.
00:55:02Based on your chat show performances and your headpiece runway presentations, I've made some decisions.
00:55:13Le voir.
00:55:15They say talk is cheap, but this week, you own everything.
00:55:21Congratulations.
00:55:22You are the winner of this week.
00:55:23Oh, my gosh.
00:55:29Yes, baby.
00:55:30You've earned your first Rue Peter badge.
00:55:39Wear it with pride.
00:55:41I will.
00:55:43Let me join the other girls.
00:55:45Congrats, baby.
00:55:45Marmalade, Lil, you are both safe.
00:55:55You may join the other girls.
00:56:08Charity, we finally got a chance to chat with you.
00:56:13And we liked what we heard.
00:56:17You are safe.
00:56:19Thank you all so much.
00:56:21You may join the other girls.
00:56:24Mm-hmm.
00:56:29Kiki Snatch.
00:56:31Octavia.
00:56:32I'm sorry, my dears, but you're both up for elimination.
00:56:35This is not where I want to be right now, but I am ready to showdown and throwdown.
00:56:44Two queens stand before me.
00:56:49I've consulted with the judges, but the final decision is mine to make.
00:56:55Ladies, this is your last chance to impress me and save yourself from elimination.
00:57:02The time has come for you to lip-sync for your life.
00:57:17Never underestimate the Welsh, darling, because, bubba, I am bloody ready.
00:57:23Good luck, and don't fuck it up.
00:57:27Good luck, and don't fuck it up.
00:57:57Good luck, and don't fuck it up.
00:57:59Wild color lights up your face.
00:58:06Let's sleep.
00:58:08Sway through the crowd to an empty space.
00:58:15If you say run, I'll run with you.
00:58:20If you say hi, you'll hide
00:58:27If all my love for you would break my heart in two
00:58:36If you should fall into my arms
00:58:41Tremble like a flower
00:58:45Baby, you got goosebumps
00:58:50And if you say hi, I'll run with you
00:58:57If all my love for you would break my heart in two
00:59:06If you should fall into my arms
00:59:11Tremble like a flower
00:59:15Queen's, I've made my decision
00:59:44Octavia, Chante, you stay
00:59:55Thank you so much
00:59:57Well done, bitch
00:59:59Thank you
01:00:00You may join the other girls
01:00:03Thank you
01:00:03Kiki, you snatched our hearts
01:00:17Now, sashay away
01:00:20With grace and like a hood girl would
01:00:23Thank you so much to all of y'all
01:00:29Stay fierce, stay fabulous, stay snatched
01:00:38Making it here is a dream come true
01:00:46Like to show me I've loved being here so I'm so grateful
01:00:50If I could change anything, it would literally be me still here
01:00:55Right to the top, getting that crown, that setter and that 25k
01:00:58Condragulations, queens
01:01:09And remember, if you can't love yourself
01:01:11How in the hell are you going to love somebody else?
01:01:13Can I get an amen up in here?
01:01:14Amen!
01:01:15All right, now let the music play
