Transcript
00:00Boston Celtics. They got their first win, thank goodness, being a top three in the East team.
00:04They're on their way, Wiggy, don't worry. Jalen Brown talked after the game, and he's asking
00:08Celtics fans, give the Celtics a little time. They're trying to figure some things out. Here
00:12was Jalen Brown. Flexibility is good. I will always say flexibility is good,
00:17but trying to find an identity and also find a rhythm and a comfort level is something that
00:22we're looking to build going forward, kind of seeing what we got, putting guys in their best
00:25potential, maximizing potential. I think both I and Joe are both looking to kind of figure out
00:30those moving parts. Obviously, you don't want to lose games while you are figuring that out, but
00:35like I said before the season, I don't know, maybe it went on deaf ears, but it takes a little bit of
00:40time. I know I would have liked to see, hopefully, they give us more than a week, Celtics fans, but
00:44we know how Celtics fans can be, so we don't make any excuses. Tonight was good to get a win, but
00:50we still got a lot of figuring out to do. We still got to build some strength and some,
00:54you know, just got to make smarter plays, so going forward, we got to grow, we got to learn,
01:00and we got to take some of those growing pains, but tonight was a good example of a victory.
01:06Sounds like Jalen Brown tells Joe Mazzullo what to do, Curtis, in case you were wondering.
01:11Yeah. I also felt like Celtics fans are the most forgiving, loyal fans around. Like,
01:18are they really giving Jalen Brown a hard time? Both I and Joe are both looking to kind of figure out
01:23those moving parts. I'm going to ride with you, but I told you what I want to see from you, Joe.
01:28I want that starting five change, and I want, I'll ride with them for like 15, 20 games, let them see
01:34if they can, you know, what that looks like, and I'll ride with you on that, but I think you need to
01:40change what your style of play is. Let me ask you a quick question. If Jason Tatum is ready to play,
01:47let's say February. Okay. What, where does the team have to be for the ownership and, and Joe and
01:53everybody to say it's worth it? Like, do they have to be, uh, a legit playoff team? Okay. Yeah. If
01:59they're like it, you know, even if they're like a succeed or they're a team that's fighting for a
02:03playing game, I would say, okay, I'm cool with that. Because once you get Tatum, then ultimately,
02:08you now know that you're going to go from a playing team to an even better competitive, uh,
02:13a legit playoff team. How much fear would you have if you were Wick, Greg, and you were where
02:19Wiggy's describing like ninth in the east and Tatum comes back and potentially re-injuring and losing
02:26the entire next season again. I don't think I would risk it. Me either. Unless you think your
02:32team has a legitimate chance. Unless the east somehow is wide open. There's injuries on the,
02:36you know, the Sixers and the Knicks and everybody else. Yeah. But it looks like it would be wide open,
02:40though. But the way Wick said it on the show, they're going to be, they're going to ask five
02:44doctors, they're going to have eight conversations about like, it's not, it's not just Jason saying,
02:48I feel good. It's not Jason Tatum saying, I want to play. They're going to have a picnic,
02:52I think. Yes. Picnic. Yes. All right.
