00:00All right, breaking news. Monday morning, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has confirmed that QB1 Justin Fields is in concussion protocol after being knocked out the game in Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills.
00:11Yeah, he's in the protocol right now, and it's always a hard one to really just try to evaluate until we get more information.
00:20So I'm sure I'll be giving you guys more information as the week progresses.
00:24So what happened in the fourth quarter of the 30-10 loss to the Bills, Fields was sacked by Joey Bosa, and then he was checked out in the injury tent on the Jets' sideline.
00:34He did emerge several minutes later with a towel over his head, and then he walked inside the locker room for further evaluation.
00:42Tyrod Taylor replaced Fields with 12-0-3 remaining in the game, and the Jets already down 30-3.
00:48Now, Fields and the Jets' offense had struggled to get anything going against Buffalo.
00:54He was only 3-11 for 27 yards before leaving the game, but he did rush for 49 yards on five carries.
01:01Tyrod Taylor went 7-11 for 56 yards and a touchdown to Jeremy Ruckert in place of Fields.
01:09Now, Fields is going to be evaluated throughout the course of this week, but it's still uncertain if he'll be ready to play in the Jets' next game at Tampa Bay on Sunday.
