00:00We got some big breaking news to wake up to if you're a Knicks fan.
00:03So the Knicks are monitoring the Giannis and Milwaukee Bucks situation,
00:07and they're ready to get freaky if the Greek freak decides that he wants out at some point.
00:12So ESPN, Sham Sharania, and multiple sources say that New York was the only team Giannis really was eyeing
00:19if Milwaukee wasn't the landing spot.
00:21And in fact, the Knicks tried to flirt with doing some business with Milwaukee,
00:25but the Bucks apparently told them not serious or we can't make that deal.
00:31So Milwaukee's doing everything in their power to keep Giannis happy, but is it working and for how long?
00:37GM John Horst flew 6,000 miles all the way out to Athens, Greece, just to talk with Giannis face-to-face,
00:43and they laid out the whole plan pertaining to rosters, vision, and championship window,
00:48but it doesn't seem like that was enough to satisfy the Greek freak,
00:52and instead of committing, it feels like he's questioning if this crew or this roster can win it all.
00:59That tells me he's not locked in emotionally, he's being smart,
01:03and he's got one foot ready out the door if he needs to step off.
01:07Milwaukee's built a house and a franchise around Giannis.
01:10They've even won a championship, but the foundations are starting to crack,
01:14and if it collapses, don't be surprised if he's rocking orange and blue in the garden,
01:20making New York Greek again.
01:21Time is going to tell, and of course, winning cures all,
01:24but if the Bucs don't start off fast, then I think Giannis Bucs' way up out of there.
01:29We'll be back here.
01:53Okay.
