00:00Going back to the ESPN report from earlier this month, part of it was that if you were traded,
00:04you'd prefer to go to the Knicks. Who said that? It was an ESPN report. I don't read that. I was
00:10wondering if that is true and if it is or it's not. I don't remember that. Right now I'm here
00:17representing my team and that's it. We beat the Knicks. What matters right now, we have a game
00:27two days against Golden State. I tried to stay locked in and get two in a row, but I didn't read
00:33that article. I tried to stay away from all that rumors and I don't know how you call it, speculations
00:42and trade and all this. It doesn't concern me one bit. I tried to involve myself and try to help my
00:50team win games. Was there anything extra? I mean, I guess not because we didn't know about it. Was
00:56there anything extra to this game and playing the Knicks because of any of that stuff? Yeah,
01:00it's for sure. It was a lot extra. They swept us last year. They swept us. They were way better than
01:06us last year and we didn't make it tough for them. It was very easy in my opinion. As a leader of this
01:16team, I remember. I don't forget things and I tried to, from early shoot around, set the tone for the
01:24team and try to remind them, like last year they swept us, same with the Cavs. So I think the team
01:32responded in the best way. So I'm happy. Going back to that, this is my city comment there in the
01:38third quarter. When you say something like that on the floor, are you kind of acting on instinct or
01:41is there kind of a message you wanted to deliver, whether it be to the viewing audience or to whoever?
01:47I think, no, it's just instincts. I've said the same, I've made the same comments in the past.
01:54I try not to read too much into things. It's just instinct, man. I just play, I play basketball,
02:03you know, just try to play basketball.
02:04Yeah, it's just off of what Steph was asking you. How do you, does that stuff become a distraction
02:13when you're like the focus of the NBA world for like a week with that report that you didn't see?
02:20If it becomes a distraction for me, I don't have time. I'm not going to lie to you. I have four kids.
02:26You know, I have a seven-month-old, two-year-old, four-year-old, and five-year-old. So, brother,
02:36I don't have time to read. Even if I wanted to pay attention to stuff like that, my life don't let me.
02:44You know, I have four little, you know, gremlins that they're running around and I have,
02:50you know, my craft that I got to improve and then I got to lead the team and then I got to,
02:56other things. I got my wife, I got my mother, I got my brothers, I got, I got to go to church.
03:00I ain't got time for all that. So, I'm being very, very honest with you. I,
03:05I just love playing basketball and I try to speak on the court.
