00:00And Hondurans mobilized on Saturday in the municipality of La Ceiba in support of presidential

00:05candidate Richie Moncada from the ruling Libre Party ahead of the November elections.

00:10Throughout the day, hundreds of supporters stood to the streets of the town to reaffirm

00:14their support for Moncada amid recent violent threats from opposition party members and

00:19his followers.

00:20At the event, Moncada highlighted the years of resistance by the Honduran people that

00:25current President Xiomara Castro brought to the country, initiating a transition process

00:30through the National Refundation Plan.

00:32In this context, the ruling party candidate assured that the far right, with its destabilizing

00:37groups, will not rule the country again.
