00:04we go live now to Venezuela we're acting president Elcio Rodriguez least the 100
00:08day review for the program for democratic coexistence and peace let's
00:12listen to the president if there's something I'm proud of is this program
00:17because this program is the show of a different Venezuela and I particularly
00:25want to thank these people that when proposed they accepted and came to
00:34Miraflores palace the January 23rd and said we're gonna go forward with this
00:40program whoever wants to join the program this program I can say we've learned a
00:54from this this is part of a great diagnostic about Venezuela but the
01:00different vision to Venezuela that Ernesto and Ana Maria have a different vision
01:05for the country going from the program I want to say hi to the program to the
01:11ministers of youth to the vice president of the National Assembly
01:16to the magistrate the constitutional chambers president now I see Venezuela in a different
01:28light I know better the problems of Venezuela because I've seen other parts of Venezuela
01:36other light I've seen the diversity of Venezuela and I want to ask everybody in
01:42front of the university I want to ask the constitutional chamber a new doctrine
01:48about diversity as a basic human right I wanna ask the constitutional chamber that
02:00that because our country is waiting for it is expecting that what that means
02:14we're gonna build what that means fundamental right that I have understood better since we started this
02:24program which is the diversity and not only that works for the sexual identity diversity but
02:35also for political diversities that we've met so many people on the way and we've
02:43managed to open hearts to open different house that is a very difficult task we've
02:51found a lack of acknowledgement and lack of trust and many times we've been
02:56denying that because there's no trust but if we don't have the trust and if we
03:05don't move forward we're gonna lose ourselves and we're gonna be losing out on getting to
03:13the new horizons and what can be great in human quality and saying don't be afraid to the culture
03:19don't be afraid to diversity there's always stress but it's worse to stay still we need to move forward we
03:27need to take the step and I'm thinking all of you because the road we have walked through is a
03:36great
03:36one of justice and with the new amnesty law within a new and new image and now only after two
03:48months of the
03:48approval of the approval of the amnesty law for democratic coexistence and tolerance over 9,000 people have
03:56been benefited that as a human being I'm very glad about it feeling that this benefit have been taken to
04:08over 9,000 people and that it hasn't been well seen because of a small group with a big media
04:18power we're not getting to know those who have gained liberty we have not getting to know the one that
04:26gave them liberty we need to take the chance we need to take the risks
04:32I'm not sorry about what we did I think the amnesty law was the right thing to do for the
04:39re-encounter for tolerance and now there are still people who don't understand the message that Venezuela is putting out
04:49there we are still gonna persevere and not giving up we need to do it and I'm telling this because
04:57on the way we have to go back to ours
05:00our regions as apes we have to not give up that is my message we have to move forward and
05:12I'm telling the program my faith my hope is in this program that this program can reach all Venezuelan people
05:19and I want to thank the woman for the political diversity please stand up all the
05:30women because in Miraflores Palace it's the first time I've shared with so many women from the political university and
05:39has been great everybody exposed their thoughts but we met and coincided in the defense of the people in the
05:48defense of the homeland and that is how we hug and march together I'm very grateful we have always have
05:56to have this first experience
05:58so I'm very thankful for that and when it comes to justice because all of you know that the amnesty
06:06law doesn't cover some of crimes and I said that from the first time those crimes accepted that are not
06:17covered we need to analyze them through the democratic coexistence program
06:23because that is essential for justice not only those who have not covered by the political violence because there has
06:32been political violence the violations of the judicial system have been have existed and still exist and I've asked for
06:46the judges to act in favor of the amnesty
06:53and that's why when I had to go to the Supreme Court of justice there has been reshaping of the
07:00justice system and we move forward to a great national consultation for a new justice system we're going there and
07:10I think this program I want this program to be integrated in that
07:14in that new justice system that we carry on listening and that women in this program are making
07:22are doing a very important job because of all the women that have lost their liberty because of the political
07:32violence and we are looking for alternative measures to liberty provision and I'm saying that in the next few hours
07:43I want to
07:43I want to answer to the country I want to answer to the country I want results I want answers
07:49for the works you have done for the people for the justice system with the minister of penitentiary we have
08:00seen that the woman in the country I want the woman to the country to see what has been done
08:05the vision we have of this encounter I also want to thank
08:13I want to thank what the peregrination the national pilgrimage and the pilgrimage is still going on because we're doing
08:23this pilgrimage for a Venezuela in peace and I agree with the Venezuelan people that the Venezuelan people don't want
08:31or they want peace and to defend their sovereignty and the independence of the Venezuelan people and the basic rights
08:39over those
08:40the basic ones of the republic and that people that is for a peaceful Venezuela and for Venezuela free sanctions
08:47we have to prove every space in every sector the damage that the sanctions have done to Venezuela we need
08:57to correct whatever mistakes we have done but the impact of the sanctions in the wages of the workers in
09:09the
09:10in the public services in the health care in the education is undeniable when we go when we have a
09:19Venezuela that has no sanctions left that's the first thing to Venezuela that's the basic rights for Venezuelan people as
09:25are the workers rights as are the retirees rights you know on April 30th we launched a special plan to
09:35help the most vulnerable
09:36and the role of the population but not only is the right is the right is the right of the
09:47retirees for health for education for food and that's why I thank all of you for coming with me with
09:55this bill
09:58where we have become justice seekers to make justice to correct mistakes to
10:06correct social inequalities because the sanctions have done a terrible scene for
10:12our homeland the inequalities must be corrected when we talk about it's
10:24useless to have a country developing is there is inequality that the cross be for
10:30the well-being of the people for the well-being of workers we need to make
10:35justice that is what this country wants that is what these people want and that
10:41message is in this program that's why I think these critic points about these
10:50teachers Anna Maria and Ernesto and I would like to do work tables for to a
11:00country more diverse because this country always because there's also a part and a
11:05counterpart and we are gonna talk about the judges but it's not the judges of the
11:14one sentence are the judges that look for justice and I'm here to listen to you
11:19and to do what to do what we agreed upon between our peoples between all the parts
11:29that we recognize the basic rights of the Venezuelan people the program for not for
11:36national coexistence is a fundamental pillar of a new Venezuela of this new
11:41Venezuela we're building Venezuela is the best country in the world there's no
11:46doubt about that it is a great proud and in the next few hours I'm gonna be
11:56traveling when I have to done that to travel outside the country you know how
12:04proud I am a deep proud of defending the irrevocable rights of the Venezuelan
12:11people to defend them without rest because that is to honor our history and I'm
12:23saying this country is not measured by the territorial extension is measured by
12:30the historical moral the history that is nurturing that country to guarantee the
12:36future and if we have something Venezuela is plenty of history there is plenty of
12:42history in Venezuela there's not one single part of Venezuela we can step up that
12:48has nothing to do with the independence of Venezuela with Liberty we have
12:53everywhere the history of our native peoples we have the strength of our woman in the
13:01independence process in the anti-colonialist process there's plenty of history around Venezuela and
13:08that's how we'll keep going the greatness of the country and Venezuela is a great
13:13country it's the best country in the world and now it's our turn to defend that
13:16greatness to defend that history and to defend the basic rights of the Venezuelan
13:21people that Venezuelan people has the rights and we need to get together to need to unite to defend the
13:32basic rights of the Venezuelan people and to do what our libertators human believers said
13:40teach social justice equal social equality that's what believers talking about in Angostura there's no
13:48sense in being a governor just to administer there's no there's no point in being a government to just
13:57to defend the few and to defend the power political power how Bolivar thought about it is about human
14:04rights it's about the rights of the people imagine where we come from Venezuelan people where we come
14:11from we come when Bolivar said Venezuela in the heart of the universe he was talking about
14:18Venezuela being an example Venezuela that doesn't give up Venezuela that prices after January 3rd that
14:26we rose to defend peace to defend a Venezuela before the world and to show the world that we have
14:35a way
14:35to do it that is not war that we can do it in peace to understand into cooperation does a
14:43Venezuela we
14:45believe in that's a Venezuela we're building and I want to thank all of you for helping with in this
14:54process of building this great new Venezuela thank you my Venezuelan brothers and sisters
