00:00We are here with the one and only Lisa Hoxstein from The Real Housewives of Miami.
00:04This season is absolutely killing it.
00:06So good so far.
00:07What was your mindset going into it?
00:11Well, I knew that I was going to have an issue with Larissa because it started before filming.
00:17There's a lot to dive into.
00:19We've been having these crazy issues since summer.
00:23I've never been thrown out of anyone's house.
00:25The whole world knows what you are.
00:26Get out.
00:27F***ing loser.
00:28Get out.
00:28And I've never been swore at like that in my house.
00:31Yes, you have.
00:32Jody and I left a real party for your fake breakup.
00:35You're a fake b***h to say that.
00:36Things kind of like snowballed after that.
00:39So I knew that I was walking into that.
00:43And I was excited because I knew I was going to walk in the Milan Fashion Week for Philip
00:47Klein.
00:48Like, that was an amazing moment.
00:51That was in vogue also.
00:53So that was awesome.
00:54But besides that, you know, the norm.
00:56Like the fights and the makeups and the breakup, you know, the whole thing.
01:01Yeah.
01:02Yeah.
01:02Well, I have to say.
01:02And then Alexia and her divorce.
01:04Yes.
01:05I knew that was going to be a big thing.
01:08And I feel terrible for her.
01:10Yeah.
01:10Well, how have you been able to, you know, be there for her?
01:12Because you kind of very recently went through your own stuff with that.
01:18With me, at least, she's been a little, maybe a little secretive.
01:23I think she's trying to protect her relationship or what is left of it with her and Todd to
01:29not hurt him in case they were to rekindle their relationship.
01:34And I get that.
01:35Like I said, whenever you're ready, just tell me.
01:37Yeah, absolutely.
01:38And I have to say, I love to see you in mom mode.
01:41How are you and Lenny co-parenting?
01:43How's that whole thing going?
01:46We're just basically kind of co-existing.
01:50I'm trying my best to co-parent.
01:52And we're like kind of high-conflict co-parenting situations.
01:59So it's difficult.
02:00But I just try to be, you know, very positive.
02:04And when I'm with them, giving them everything, all my attention.
02:07Because I only have them 50% of the time right now, which I hate.
02:12You know, as a mom, I really wish that I could have them more.
02:16Well, I have to say, I do love you and Jodi together.
02:20I think you guys are adorable.
02:21How have you been navigating all this stuff about your relationship this season?
02:26It's been really difficult because, you know, he's not used to this world.
02:32And he's, you know, a little more to himself and didn't know what he was getting into.
02:38I tried to warn him.
02:41But, you know, dealing with a divorce, he felt like he was getting divorced also.
02:47And he has definitely been my rock through this whole thing.
02:50And it's such an amazing support for me.
02:53My biggest supporter.
02:55Well, I also want to talk about, you know, the stuff going on with Larsa.
02:58You guys have kind of been going back and forth a little bit this season.
03:01And it seemed to maybe stem from you continuing to follow Marcus, that stuff.
03:06At least on her end, it stemmed from that, you know, her anger.
03:09Well, you know what's interesting?
03:10I just saw an article the other day and a bunch of her best friends still follow Marcus.
03:16So, I just find that very peculiar.
03:19Yeah.
03:20Like, why are, where is that energy for them?
03:23Right.
03:24Why so much energy for me when the headline was like two people, I think Carolyn and, Carolyn and her husband.
03:34They follow.
03:35And I just recently saw that they were in Miami.
03:37They stayed at Larsa's house.
03:38Like, she was fine with that.
03:40Like, why, why, why is that okay?
03:41But it's not okay for me.
03:44Can we talk about your timeliness a little bit?
03:46I have to say you were on time today.
03:48Your castmates all seem to accept that it's kind of a normal thing to not have you be on time, you know.
03:53And, and Stephanie kind of went in on, on you about it.
03:56What are you doing today?
03:58Waiting for you, goddess.
04:01Lisa, do you think your time's more important than all of ours?
04:04Or do you think that you're like more valuable?
04:05Are we supposed to, like, celebrate your entrance?
04:10No.
04:11Did you realize how much your tardiness bothered everyone else and have you gotten better with it?
04:16Um, you know, yes.
04:17I have been working on myself.
04:19I take full responsibility.
04:21Like, it's not, I don't like this feeling of being late.
04:24Like, it's not something I do intentionally.
04:26It's something, it's my worst flaw.
04:30Like, that's the worst thing I would say about me is, is that.
04:33But I am so much better, got the message loud and clear.
04:38Um, and I actually have a time management coach.
04:41No way.
04:42Yes.
04:43That's what I've been working with.
04:44And I, I have my company Splitwell and now I manage many people.
04:47And I have to be an example for them and an example for my children.
04:52So I'm really trying to do my best.
04:56I have not been late for, I can't even remember the last time.
04:59I, I have been late, I was three hours early for Andy's show yesterday.
05:03He did say that.
05:04Um, so yeah, on that one, my bad.
05:07I want to talk about this, this party that Alexia threw, this event she threw.
05:11Yeah, you pick Lisa?
05:12Yeah.
05:13I pick Lisa too.
05:14Oh, she's very offended with me.
05:15That one was quick to take offense and Lisa got the most with three.
05:19I win again.
05:21This is like a whack game with some whack people.
05:24It was terrible.
05:25What happened through your mind in that moment?
05:26Did you expect that to be the outcome?
05:29Well, no, I didn't even know that it was a narcissist party.
05:32I was told that we were all, I don't know.
05:34I was told it was a goddess party dressed like a goddess.
05:38We're celebrating us.
05:39We're celebrating women.
05:41And that's not what it was.
05:43It was creating division.
05:45And I felt ganged up on and not to, you know, play a victim or whatever they want to say,
05:53but I literally had just came back from, you know, saying goodbye to my father.
05:58And I didn't expect friends to treat me like this.
06:02You know, it doesn't matter how close you are or not with somebody.
06:05Losing a parent is one of the worst things, you know, a child or a parent, whatever, anybody
06:11that you love, it's really difficult.
06:13So I didn't like that.
06:14And I thought it was, I thought it was terrible.
06:16Who would you say displays the most narcissistic traits out of the group?
06:20I would say Larsa.
06:22All of us have certain narcissistic traits.
06:24Like anyone with an Instagram, I think we have a little bit of that within us.
06:29Um, but to diagnose somebody as a straight up narcissist without, you know, you're not,
06:35you're not a doctor.
06:36You're not a therapist.
06:36You can't really make that diagnosis.
06:39Yeah.
06:39It's just, it's just like, um, it's messy.
06:43And it seems like there have been a lot of overall shifts in dynamics this season.
06:47Which one surprised you the most?
06:51Um, well, Larsa and I, that surprised me again.
06:55There's a whole backstory before filming.
06:56I won't get into it now.
06:57Um, with Julia and Adriana, that, I mean, they were besties.
07:04They got engaged.
07:05Like they had a whole like marriage, like friendship, engagement.
07:09I thought those two would, I didn't ever see this coming, but it's unfortunate.
07:14And Adriana is really, uh, upset about it.
07:18Yeah.
07:18She really never expected that.
07:20Yeah.
07:20And it, it seems like Julia is kind of having a hard time.
07:22Cause even with the Gertie thing and throwing the water.
07:25Be quiet.
07:26I literally, don't you tell me.
07:27Oh, shit.
07:28Oh, shit.
07:29You're a liar.
07:30Martina had a cancer situation.
07:31Oh, my God.
07:32You're a liar.
07:33You are a liar.
07:34I've never seen her act like that.
07:36And I, I, if I was there, I would have for sure said something.
07:39Like, I don't agree with that.
07:41I wasn't there.
07:43And so the whole season, I'm like, well, what happened?
07:45I was so confused until I saw it.
07:48And I was like, ah, yeah, that wasn't great.
07:51Right.
07:51She should have not.
07:52I don't think, I'm pretty sure she probably is like mortified, like by the reaction that
07:58it's getting.
07:59I'm sure she wishes she never did that, but it happened.
08:02Yeah.
08:02Yeah.
08:02It was very out of character for sure.
08:04Shifting gears a little bit.
08:05I want to talk about your company, Splitwell.
08:07Yeah.
08:07You made tech history for being the first housewife to enter the AI space.
08:12So smart.
08:13Give us some deets.
08:15It was like another full-time job.
08:16Getting divorced.
08:17Before you're sending the message, it's helping you send the right message to deescalate the
08:24conflict.
08:24Please tell me everything, all the amazing things.
08:26You were somewhere very cool this morning.
08:28Oh my God.
08:29So like pinch me.
08:31What a moment this morning.
08:33I was on such a high.
08:34I got to ring the NASDAQ bell.
08:37Splitwell is an AI powered divorce support platform aimed to help people lower the costs with their
08:44divorces because divorces are super expensive.
08:49We have lawyers that we suggest that are ethical and it's just everything all encompassing.
08:57So it's organizing your documents to help you analyze it.
09:01It has a note taker that literally sits in meetings with you or conversations and records this information
09:09so it can help you understand what's being said, like from a legal viewpoint.
09:15I'm really proud of it.
09:16It's just the beginning.
09:17I'm just so excited, you know, to have this platform and to help people hopefully not go
09:22through what I and many other women have gone through.
09:25What's one thing or anything you can tease about the rest of the season?
09:28No, we have some great trips coming up.
09:30Yes.
09:31No, it just sucks fighting with a friend.
09:34Yeah.
09:34You know, I don't like, it was so much anxiety whenever I had to see Larsa and I don't like
09:41walking into a room and feeling like that.
09:42It's just, that sucked.
09:44But it gets, it gets better and then it gets worse and better.
09:47It goes up and down.
09:49It's like literally a roller coaster, but we go on these amazing trips, you know, and
09:54we're just like jet setting around the world to Marbella.
09:58We're in Sevilla, Spain.
09:59It's just beautifully, it's just beautiful.
