00:00Urban Meyer was spotted in central Pennsylvania.
00:03So unless he's handicapping Bucknell's game this week,
00:07my goodness, he's talking to Penn State,
00:10which would make complete sense and be totally on brand
00:14for Urban Meyer to immediately insert himself
00:16into the most attractive college football opening in the land.
00:20Like, that is the job to get.
00:22Yeah.
00:22Right?
00:23Yeah.
00:23So I would not be surprised if Urban dusts off the old resume
00:27and convinces Penn State, I'm the answer.
00:30Because Penn State needs to make a deal with the devil
00:32if they want to win a national championship.
00:34Yeah.
00:34You can already recruit there.
00:36He comes with national championships.
00:38He's done it in multiple schools now.
00:40Urban Meyer goes to Penn State.
00:42The Penn State cult members go crazy.
00:45Yeah, they would.
00:46Now, Big Noon, the show he works on, is in Indiana this week.
00:49Okay.
00:50Second team in the country.
00:51Yeah.
00:52So was he there on the way to play at UCLA?
00:54Like, why is he at Pennsylvania if his work is out?
00:56It has to be.
00:57I just told you why.
00:59He was either trying to discover the tracks of Louis Mangione
01:02and go to the McDonald's he got caught in,
01:05or he's applying for the Penn State job.
01:07Right.
01:08You're going to be a rocket scientist to figure this out.
01:10Nobody goes to central Pennsylvania because they want to.
01:13Right.
01:14The question was really, why else would he be there?
01:16No, no.
01:16I've answered the question.
01:17Because he wants people to think he's in the running
01:20for the Penn State job.
01:21I don't think they're going to hire him.
01:22I think he'd be on a very short list.
01:24If he's like, I'll give you five years, I can't promise you six,
01:28but I'll give you five, and I want 15 million bucks a year to do it,
01:32Penn State would say, thank you, sir, you got it.
01:35Speaking of money, apparently Florida has offered Lane Kiffin
01:39$13.5 million a year to become the highest paid coach in college football,
01:45and they're trying to get him to leave Ole Miss,
01:47where he could win a national championship this year,
01:49to go down to Florida, and they've offered to make him,
01:53according to reports, the highest paid head coach of football.
01:57And he's, look, I love Signetti in Indiana because he built a program
02:00out of nothing and deserves the money he's getting.
02:03But I've always been a Lane Kiffin guy.
02:05I think at some point you've got to stop chasing the next job.
02:08Lane Kiffin could be at Ole Miss for 20 years.
02:10He could.
02:11He's that good.
02:12He and his wife have reconciled.
02:14They love the campus lifestyle.
02:16His daughter's in Mississippi now.
02:18I know Florida's appealing, and Florida's a great place to recruit.
02:22But sometimes I think the grass isn't always greener.
02:27And unless there's something about Ole Miss that he detests,
02:30and I find it hard to believe that he would,
02:33you know, at some point the Rolling Stones got to stop.
02:37Papa's got to say, I found my home.
02:40I'm staying there.
