00:06teams and all the awards. And as you probably with the FWA, you know, we sit there and we vote
00:12on all of those players. Tell me this, David. I mean, Ty Simpson, where were you impressed with
00:19him last year in his tape? You know, all of a sudden he goes to the combines and he's flying
00:23up the charts. And I saw him in that game against IU. They benched him in that game. Is he
00:30going to
00:30go in the first round? I think if I had to put a literally a bet on it, if we
00:35could do that in the
00:36state of Connecticut, I would bet that he does go in the bottom half of the first round. Cause
00:40there's going to be a team, whether it's the Steelers or it's somebody else who's looking
00:43for insurance out there, who's going to want to just say, all right, I want to grab a quarterback
00:48now because there's nobody else in the draft. I wasn't overly impressed with him. Now there
00:52are pockets at times where Ty Simpson looked really, really good last year against some
00:56really good teams. He had about a five week span against four ranked teams where he became
01:01the Heisman trophy favorite at the time. And then there was the second half of the year
01:05where he looked awful against pretty much everybody. And it's just not somebody that I want to mortgage
01:11my future on. He is somebody where if you are the Pittsburgh Steelers and you're like, all
01:16right, when we're done with the dog and pony show, Aaron Rodgers is going to sign and come
01:20back for one more year. Let's get Ty Simpson in case Rogers changes his mind or in case he gets
01:26injured or in case he retires, you never go with Aaron. And then you have somebody, but you don't
01:30necessarily need them because you got backup insurance already. So I think the Steelers are a
01:35team to watch with Ty because it's a sort of a need, but not a need because you might have
01:40a hall of
01:40fame or coming back in a couple of weeks as well.
