00:05It's LeBron James was reportedly the player Damon Jones used inside information about before a February 2023 Bucks-Lakers game per The Athletic.
00:15Jones allegedly told others to bet on Milwaukee after learning LeBron would sit out with ankle soreness before it was on the injury report.
00:23Now, this is what we usually take a look at, Joe, not like the new wave of, hey, guys, I'm going to dip out of this game.
00:28I'm going to be hurt. Inside information was always king, and it dates back 50, 60, 70 years where it's like, I know this guy's going to sit out.
00:35Nobody else does. Let me use that information to bet. It's just like insider trading.
00:40I know a big merger is going to go down on Wall Street. Nobody knows about it.
00:43Let me take up some shares in that company that's about to merge, and your stock triples, and you cash out.
00:48Well, that's why we're able to flag things out, but this is interesting because that's one of those, hey, a random guy's going to sit out.
00:54No, this is the biggest star in the biggest sport. I know he's sitting out in a big game here, and you know that line is going to move drastically.

01:38Like, these guys were not exactly the sharpest ones here who were going down and laying $270,000 at the same time on prop bets for Terry Rozier.

01:52So, and listen, the names, more and more names are going to come out.
01:55I am sure they're going to try and cover this as best you can, like you said, the news cycle.
