Un film intenso e commovente che racconta la vicenda di Hind Rajab, una bambina intrappolata sotto i bombardamenti, divenuta simbolo universale di innocenza e resistenza. 00:00Today, one of the most anticipated films of this festival, the voice of Hindra Jab by Tunisian director Sir Banania, has arrived in competition at Venice.

00:10After having blurred the boundaries between reality and fiction with For Daughters, seen in competition at KH in 2023, Banania brings the tragic true story of a six-year-old girl trapped in a car under siege in Gaza in January 2024 and in particular recovers the call that the girl made to the Red Crescent rescuers in a desperate attempt to save herself.

00:40The cast moves in a single location and the violence always remains off-screen, precisely because the director's aim was to give Gaza a voice who was left without one and we are populated by images everywhere on our screens.

01:10It is a very courageous film and it definitely comes at the right time and if the awards are also political, well, we will certainly expect this new work by Sir Banania to be on the podium.
