00:00All right, so all three, ready, rolling. Whenever you're ready, take it away.
00:04I think I'm ready. Are you ready, Corey?
00:05No, last week, my one shot, not tight enough.
00:09People, put it in the comments. Please get close to Corey's face.
00:13They didn't. This is all life.
00:14They actually did it.
00:15Jonathan, please magnify.
00:18No, get it a little tighter. Magnify.
00:20A little bit more. Magnify.
00:24I think that's good.
00:30Hey, y'all. Welcome back to another Tech Connect.
00:35We are doing a video on something that the kids have really been asking for.
00:41Yeah, it's Fortnite, it's Roblox, and the Apple Magnifier.
00:46In that order.
00:47In that order, yeah.
00:48Actually, I have a 14-year-old son, and he said,
00:50Dad, can you please do a video on the iOS Magnifier app?
00:54The kids are really talking about it.
00:57How do you do, fellow kids?
00:58The Magnifier app has had a couple updates,
01:02and if you haven't checked it out lately, you should,
01:05because there are a number of features that can be super helpful,
01:09and it's free, and it's on your iPhone,
01:12and the best tool is the tool that's in your pocket.
01:15Did you know that?
01:16Very wise words, Corey. I'm impressed.
01:18Yep, Confucius said.
01:20Stick with us.
01:21We're going to look at some of the standard magnifier features
01:24that you would expect from a Magnifier app,
01:26but then we're also going to dive into some of the special features,
01:29including Capture and Detect mode,
01:32and if you don't know the difference between those two,
01:34you will by the end of the video.
01:36That's right.
01:37Make sure you stay tuned to the end of the video as well,
01:39because we're going to be showing you how to get into the settings for the magnifier
01:42and enabling the different features that we will be discussing today.
01:45Let's do it.
01:46You might think the magnifier app is boring,
01:49but you are boring.
01:51Okay, so we are in the magnifier app.
01:53Now, if you don't know where the magnifier app is,
01:56it will be on your home screen somewhere,
01:58but also, if you try triple-clicking your side button
02:01on the right side of the phone,
02:02it may launch the magnifier app.
02:04The magnifier app, of course,
02:05well, what would the default functionality be, Corey, do you think?
02:09Well, I'm guessing that we can use two fingers,
02:11preferably our thumb and pointer finger.
02:14Okay.
02:14And I bet you we can pinch and pinch in and pinch out.
02:18And what would that do?
02:19Well, I'm guessing that's going to increase magnification and decrease,
02:23make things bigger and smaller.
02:26Incorrect.
02:27Well, guess what?
02:28I guess I'll watch this video.
02:30Teach me.
02:31I tell a lie.
02:31Corey was actually 100% correct.
02:33We can, using the phone's camera in the magnifier app,
02:36we can zoom in with reverse pinch,
02:38we can zoom out with pinch.
02:40But there is also a handy-dandy little slider as well
02:43that we can slide to the right to zoom in
02:46and to the left to zoom out.
02:48But there are other controls as well.
02:49Now, these may be hidden depending on your magnifier app.
02:52And if you're just seeing the magnifier slider, Corey,
02:55what you need to do is kind of push up
02:58and drag up the other controls,
03:00which will appear then beneath the magnification slider.
03:03Any idea what controls we might have access to?
03:06Well, I'm guessing there's some color filters.
03:08Correct.
03:08I also assume there's some brightness.
03:10Correct.
03:10And then I would also assume some contrast.
03:13I find it interesting that you're using the word assume here
03:15when we literally discussed this right before we filmed.
03:18Oh, I assume I was correct.
03:20Okay, so starting from the left here,
03:22color filters.
03:23If I tap on that,
03:24now I can slide between different color filters.
03:28You know, you've got your high contrast colors,
03:29whites on blacks, blacks on whites.
03:31There are some crazy colors, reds and blacks,
03:33and there's some stuff like blue and white.
03:35Throw it down in the comments.
03:36We always say how so many of these color filters,
03:40like nobody uses,
03:41and then there's always at least someone who does.
03:43Oh, yeah, that's true.
03:43But put it down in the comments.
03:45If you are a low vision magnifier user,
03:48what color filter do you prefer?
03:51I'm curious.
03:51I would love to know if anybody likes black text
03:53on a red background.
03:54Or I'd also want to know,
03:55do you like black text on a black background?
03:58It'd be very interesting.
03:59We'll see how that works.
04:00I like it.
04:00All right, so to close the color filters,
04:02we tap the color filter icon,
04:04and now we're going to open up the brightness icon.
04:06This is kind of like a sun icon,
04:08and this will give us a second slider
04:10as well as our magnification slider.
04:12This second slider will adjust the brightness,
04:14so this is going to be the brightness of the image.
04:17And if we close that by tapping that icon again,
04:21and we're going to go to the third option,
04:22which is our contrast slider.
04:24This is a half black and half white circle,
04:26or in my case,
04:27actually half yellow and half white circle.
04:29And if we slide this to the left or the right,
04:31it will adjust the contrast,
04:32so the kind of differences
04:34between the whites and the blacks.
04:35Now, what we might need to do
04:37is use the contrast in conjunction
04:38with the color filters.
04:40So let's say that I go to my color filters here,
04:42and let's say that I am using the white on black color.
04:45It might be that the black is kind of more gray,
04:50and the white is kind of also more gray.
04:52So if that's the case,
04:54if everything's looking a little bit gray,
04:55and you're not in the grayscale color scheme,
04:57then go to your contrast and adjust the contrast,
05:00and the blacks are going to get blacker,
05:01and the whites are going to get whiter.
05:03At this point, let's say that we're ready to read.
05:05We can slide down on the controls
05:07to kind of hide them again,
05:08and we might want to turn our phone sideways
05:10to give ourselves the widest field of view,
05:13and now we can obviously start to move our phone
05:15over the text and read whatever text is there.
05:18Now, this isn't quite as easy
05:19as using a dedicated electronic magnifier
05:21because it's kind of tricky to hold the phone steady,
05:24but if you're doing small amounts of reading,
05:25then this is a really handy way to do it.
05:27And as Corby said at the top of the show,
05:29the best tool is the one that you have in your pocket.
05:33That is the wisest words ever been spoken by man.
05:37There you go.
05:38Or woman.
05:38Or animal.
05:40That's true.
05:40Yeah.
05:41Or machine.
05:42Or anything else.
05:44Exactly.
05:44So, with that being said,
05:46that's all the magnification features.
05:47But, Corby,
05:48those were really...
05:49That's just scratching the surface.
05:51Scratching the surface.
05:52It's time to find out
05:53what layers of icing we have
05:55on top of this magnification cake.
05:57Ooh, cake.
05:59Let's do it.
06:03Corby.
06:04Yes?
06:04Please introduce the next feature,
06:06capture.
06:06All right.
06:07Segment number two.
06:09Capture.
06:10Action.
06:11Ow.
06:12Okay, so this is going to be about
06:14the capture feature of the magnifier.
06:16With the capture feature,
06:17we can capture the text on a page
06:19and then change it to our liking.
06:21We're going to get a computer font
06:23representation of the words
06:24and not only can we manipulate
06:26the size and color of them,
06:27but we can even have them read aloud, Corby.
06:29Whoa.
06:30It's pretty cool stuff.
06:31All in the same app.
06:32Exactly.
06:32Does that take 10 apps?
06:33Nope.
06:3412 apps?
06:35No.
06:3514 apps?
06:36No.
06:36One.
06:37One simple app.
06:38So no need to download other apps.
06:40Okay.
06:40First thing we need to do,
06:41get to the page
06:42within the frame of the camera.
06:44So I'm holding my phone camera
06:46above the page
06:46that I want it to read to me.
06:48And once I've got it positioned,
06:49I'm going to press the capture button.
06:51And after just a moment,
06:52it will say reader mode available.
06:54And now we can go ahead
06:56and look at this text in computer font,
06:59but also have it read aloud.
07:00So I'm going to go ahead
07:01and hit the reader option
07:03at the bottom right.
07:04And the words are on the screen now.
07:07And so we can have them read aloud.
07:08But before we do that,
07:09let's change how they look.
07:10I'm going to press the menu button
07:11in the top right
07:12and then press on a customize reader.
07:15And the first thing we can choose
07:16is the background.
07:17I will choose a dark background.
07:19And then there is an edit button
07:20that we can press
07:21and that will allow us
07:22to change other things,
07:23including the text color,
07:24which I will set to a custom color.
07:26We'll go for a yellow here.
07:28There we go.
07:29And we can also choose
07:31the size of the text.
07:34And oops.
07:35So we can choose the size of the text
07:37with a slider,
07:38make it larger or smaller.
07:39And we can even change the font as well.
07:41So we could just read the document ourselves
07:43now with this nice high contrast appearance.
07:45I've made it yellow text
07:46on a black background and quite large.
07:48But we can also have it read aloud to us.
07:50There is a play button
07:51at the bottom center.
07:52I will press play.
07:53Ramblin' Root Beer
07:54by Bob Bedesim.
07:56Ramblin' something.
07:58What do we collect
07:59to appear in Minnesota
08:00during the winter months?
08:01Yes, we evaluate our collection.
08:04And I'll stop it there.
08:05Now, I said Ramblin' something
08:06just because it's reading
08:07some text that's in an image
08:09on the page here.
08:09Yeah, it's Ramblin' Root Beer.
08:11Ramblin' Root Beer.
08:11Are you a fan?
08:13I am.
08:13This is actually
08:14Coe wrote that article.
08:16But I was not.
08:18Just for context,
08:19this is like
08:19the Coca-Cola collectors magazine.
08:22Actually,
08:23a lot of people call me
08:24Mr. Coca-Cola.
08:25Okay, well,
08:25if you have Coca-Cola memorabilia,
08:27please send it in to Corey.
08:28Yep.
08:28But for the meantime,
08:29let's move on to the next feature,
08:31which is going to be
08:31our detect feature.
08:35Inspector Gadget.
08:36I'm detecting
08:37that this video is almost over.
08:41In case you didn't know,
08:44we are on the third feature.
08:46And I detect that
08:48this is going to be
08:49one heck of a section.
08:51Let's zoom in
08:53to the video
08:54and see what we can detect here.
08:57Yeah, I love dinner rolls.
08:59Okay, we're going to look
09:01at the detect feature next.
09:02And this is a way
09:03that we can ask the camera
09:04to find things for us.
09:06A long time ago, Corey,
09:07I'm sure you'll remember
09:08we did a video
09:09on the Envision app
09:10and we found your dog.
09:13Oh, yeah, that was a long time ago.
09:15I'll get a list
09:16of many different objects
09:17that we can have the app
09:19recognize or find for us.
09:21In this example,
09:21let's choose dog.
09:23I feel like,
09:23I think I've lost my dog.
09:25He's somewhere in this room.
09:26Bench, dog, act.
09:30So right now,
09:31I've got the camera pointed.
09:32It sees no dog.
09:34As soon as I move the camera
09:35and a dog is in the shot,
09:37the phone is going to vibrate
09:39and it's also going to make
09:40a noise alerting us
09:42that it has indeed found
09:43the object we're looking for.
09:46There we go.
09:48There's our dog.
09:49He's no longer lost.
09:51But yeah,
09:52this does a similar thing.
09:54It doesn't find dogs, sadly,
09:55but it does find
09:56a number of other things.
09:57So we have a detect icon
09:58on the bottom of the screen.
09:59Holding a finger on it
10:00will bring up a list of things
10:01that we can choose
10:02for the camera to detect,
10:04including scenes,
10:06people,
10:06furniture,
10:07doors,
10:08text,
10:09and we have an option
10:10called point and speak.
10:11Now, the idea of this
10:12is we point the camera
10:13anywhere
10:14and if we've set it
10:15to detect any of these things,
10:17it will automatically
10:17start to tell us
10:18that these things are here.
10:20Okay.
10:20So if there are people there,
10:21it will tell us.
10:21If there is things
10:22in the scene there
10:23that it recognizes,
10:24it will tell us.
10:25If there is furniture there,
10:26it will tell us,
10:26and so on and so forth.
10:27So which one do you want to try,
10:29you've got scenes,
10:29people,
10:30furniture,
10:30doors,
10:30text,
10:31and point and speak.
10:32Let's try scene.
10:32I'm curious.
10:33Maybe we can do scene
10:36and point it in front of us
10:37and people will get a
10:37behind the scenes.
10:41In front of the camera,
10:42behind the camera.
10:43Now I'm going to hold my phone up
10:44and I'm going to press
10:45the detect button
10:46to enable the feature
10:47and now I'll start
10:48to move my camera around here.
10:50Adult camera,
10:52cardboard box,
10:53jeans,
10:54tripod,
10:54with process,
10:55cardboard box,
10:57tripod,
10:57This is all accurate.
10:59I have a couple questions though.
11:01Okay.
11:02Okay.
11:02Let me go ahead
11:02and disable the feature.
11:03First of all,
11:04I swear I just heard it say
11:05windmill at the end there.
11:07Which is interesting.
11:08But why was there just,
11:10no,
11:10I mean,
11:10I get it.
11:10I assume it's not Jonathan,
11:12but it just randomly said jeans.
11:13Jeans.
11:14That was Jonathan's wearing jeans?
11:15Well,
11:15I get that,
11:15but I thought it was like
11:16cardboard box.
11:17Jeans.
11:18Like just a pair of jeans
11:19were hanging out.
11:21Yeah,
11:21exactly.
11:22I mean,
11:22so it gives us information.
11:23Now,
11:24how actionable is this information?
11:26Maybe not so actionable.
11:27Yeah.
11:27I mean,
11:28it's not giving you a description
11:29of the scene.
11:30It could be good though
11:31if you are looking
11:32for something specific,
11:34maybe you dropped it
11:34on the ground
11:35or a water bottle
11:36on the table.
11:37So there I could see
11:38where you might want it.
11:40I find this,
11:42I think the scene
11:42is more generic.
11:43Yeah.
11:44Very generic.
11:44When you just want
11:44kind of a generic idea
11:46of stuff around you.
11:47Let's do another one.
11:47Let's try,
11:48I'll disable scenes
11:49and I'm going to enable people.
11:51Okay.
11:51And we'll go ahead
11:52and hold the camera.
11:53I'm going to press the detect
11:54button to turn on the feature
11:55and then we'll-
11:56Person five feet.
11:57Person eight feet.
11:58Seven feet.
11:59So not only do we know
12:00there's a person there,
12:01we have an idea
12:02of distance as well
12:03thanks to the LiDAR.
12:05Yeah.
12:05Yes.
12:06Corey, LiDAR.
12:07Yes.
12:08What does it stand for?
12:08LiDAR stands for
12:10Light Intercept
12:12Duh.
12:16Aspect ratio.
12:17And...
12:18Oh.
12:19Racing.
12:21Good.
12:21Please put it down
12:22in the comments
12:22if you think Corey is right
12:24with a definition there.
12:24I'm not sure how you spell LiDAR.
12:26Is it I or D?
12:27I mean, is it I or Y?
12:28Yeah, you got it.
12:28Okay.
12:29I didn't know if it was
12:30a weird spell.
12:30L-I-D-A-R.
12:31Okay, good.
12:32Anyway,
12:33told us it was a person,
12:35told us how far away.
12:36That's pretty useful.
12:36I want to try one more.
12:37Sure.
12:37And I know this may go
12:38off camera a little bit,
12:39but do text.
12:41Yes.
12:41And behind your right shoulder
12:44on the wall
12:45is some text written.
12:47Okay.
12:47So let's say
12:47if you were potentially
12:49looking for
12:51a specific store
12:52or something like that,
12:53let's see if it can read text.
12:55Now, the shot up on the wall
12:57and maybe Jonathan
12:57will put something up
12:58on B-roll really quick
12:59is that it is sort of,
13:02there's one of the words
13:03is weirdly written.
13:04So let's see how it does.
13:05So you're talking about
13:05on the wall to the right?
13:07Yes.
13:07Okay.
13:08Okay.
13:08So what I'm going to do here,
13:10I'm going to go ahead
13:11and hold down on the text buttons
13:12and bring up the menu.
13:13We'll turn off people.
13:14We will turn on text.
13:15So this would be kind of
13:16reading text in the environment
13:17pretty much a little bit different.
13:19Although you could still use it
13:20to read text close-up as well.
13:21But anyway,
13:22text is on.
13:23I will turn on the detect feature
13:24by tapping on the detect button.
13:26And now we're going to go ahead
13:27and point the camera
13:28into the distance.
13:30Technology possibility.
13:32Okay.
13:33It missed the middle word.
13:34It did.
13:34It got two of the words.
13:35Now I am kind of zoomed out
13:36at the moment.
13:36So I'll zoom in a little bit
13:37and we'll see if it
13:38changes its mind.
13:41Pretty much happy with it.
13:42So I believe I said it once.
13:45That's not bad
13:46because it is written
13:46a little weird
13:47and it is across
13:48on an angle.
13:49We'll do one more thing here,
13:50Corey.
13:50Point and speak.
13:51The idea is
13:52kind of similar to the OrCam.
13:53We should be able to point
13:55at text
13:55and have it read
13:56from that particular area.
13:57Okay.
13:57So we can kind of
13:58be a bit more specific
13:59in how it's reading.
14:00So we'll go ahead
14:01and go to the detect menu again
14:04and we're going to turn on
14:06point and speak.
14:06I'll turn off text.
14:08So now,
14:09if I point the camera
14:10at text here,
14:12it's not going to say anything
14:14because it can't
14:15see my finger.
14:16Correct.
14:16Okay.
14:17But if I point,
14:18then...
14:18Oh my goodness me.
14:22It was created
14:22by Edward Bark
14:23and his brother Gaston.
14:25Hello.
14:26Gaston?
14:26Yeah, that was actually me.
14:28Oh, you're Gaston?
14:29Yeah.
14:29Were you in Beauty
14:30and the Beast?
14:30When Bark's root beer
14:32got so popular
14:33and we sold it
14:33to Coca-Cola,
14:35my family changed
14:36their name
14:36from Bark's to Ballard.
14:38That makes no sense.
14:39Because we wanted
14:40to live in privacy
14:41with all of our root beer money.
14:43Yeah, because you are a billionaires.
14:44Yes, I am a root beer baron.
14:45In case you didn't know that.
14:47Okay, so that works really great.
14:49It detected my finger.
14:50It read where I was pointing to
14:52and Corey visually
14:53highlighted the text
14:55that it was reading
14:55on the screen.
14:56So with the document,
14:58I was pointing my camera
14:59at the document.
14:59There were three paragraphs.
15:00It highlighted
15:01the specific paragraph visually.
15:03Very nice stuff.
15:04I like it.
15:04Yeah.
15:05Now, I will say, Corey,
15:06this gets very confusing
15:07if you have all
15:08of the different
15:09detect options enabled.
15:10Yes, that'd be too much.
15:11It's too much.
15:12It just talks constantly.
15:13I haven't got a clue
15:14what's going on.
15:15Do you think
15:15if you were at a bakery
15:17and you were sent there
15:19to get some kind of buns
15:22for breakfast?
15:22Oh, like a roll?
15:23Yeah, some buns, some rolls.
15:25And they had cinnamon rolls there
15:26and you pointed at the wrapper,
15:28the label,
15:29and it said cinnamon roll.
15:30Do you think it would work?
15:33Give me the scenario again.
15:35All right, stick around.
15:36We're going to go
15:37look at the settings.
15:37Hi, loyal viewer.
15:42Thanks for staying to the end.
15:44We love you.
15:44Because if you didn't
15:46stay to the end,
15:47then we don't invite you
15:49back to our next video.
15:51No, we don't.
15:51I'm just kidding.
15:52If you didn't stay to the end,
15:53you may not know
15:54why some of these features
15:55don't show up.
15:56If you jumped ahead
15:58or skipped out of here,
15:59you might go to your magnifier app
16:01and go, wait a minute,
16:02I don't see detect.
16:03That's right.
16:03But Luke,
16:05he is the man
16:06who is going to show us
16:08why that happened
16:09and how to fix the problem.
16:11Yes, we reward
16:12our loyal viewers,
16:13particularly those ones
16:14who press the like button,
16:15who smash the subscribe,
16:17who ring the old notification bell.
16:19Oh, ring my bell.
16:20Right.
16:21Ring my bell.
16:22Sure.
16:23We reward them
16:24because we show them
16:25what the real deal is.
16:27And the real deal in this case
16:28is going into the settings
16:30of your magnifier app
16:31at the bottom right
16:31because this is going to allow us
16:33to customize the magnifier app
16:35and set it up
16:36with exactly the features
16:37that we want to use, Corey.
16:39Well, when you say we,
16:40do you mean you?
16:41No, preferably the user.
16:43Or maybe we should do with Jonathan.
16:44How should we customize that?
16:46Don't customize it
16:46with what we want.
16:47Customize it with what you
16:48at home want.
16:49Oh, yeah.
16:49Good call.
16:49Yeah.
16:50So what we get,
16:50we get a list of things
16:52that we're going to ignore,
16:53activities capture and detect
16:54at the top for the moment.
16:55We're going to look
16:56at the primary, secondary
16:57and other controls
16:58which are listed underneath.
17:00And for the ones
17:01which are already enabled,
17:02we have a red circle
17:04with a minus
17:04because we can disable those
17:06if we want.
17:07With the ones
17:07that are currently disabled,
17:09we have a green circle
17:10with a plus
17:10because we can enable these
17:12if we want.
17:13So the ones
17:13which are currently enabled
17:14are zoom, brightness,
17:16contrast and filters.
17:17And so those all appear
17:18in my magnifier app
17:20as options
17:21and we already looked
17:22at what those do.
17:23However, there are other things
17:24that we could enable
17:25if we wanted to,
17:26including a button
17:27to enable the flashlight,
17:28a button to enable
17:29focus lock,
17:30a button to enable
17:32different cameras
17:33so whether we want
17:34to switch between
17:34the front camera
17:35and the back camera
17:36and a button
17:37for capture mode
17:38which would allow us,
17:39Corey, to do
17:40multi-batch scans
17:41so if we want to take
17:42pictures of numerous pages
17:44and then have them
17:45all read back to us
17:46at the same time.
17:47Pretty neat feature.
17:48However, some of these
17:49might not be enabled
17:51but you can go into
17:52the settings
17:52and enable them
17:53if you want.
17:53You can also disable
17:54anything you don't want.
17:55So if I disable here
17:57brightness, contrast
17:58and filters,
17:59now I only have
18:00zoom enabled
18:01so when I go back out
18:02I just have the zoom slider
18:04and there are not
18:05those options
18:06for the different
18:07color filters,
18:08the brightness
18:08and the contrast.
18:09So pretty cool.
18:10You can very much
18:10customize it
18:11however you want
18:12to use it
18:13and we also can do
18:14the same for those
18:15detect and capture
18:16options that we were
18:17just looking at.
18:18So at the top
18:19of our settings menu
18:19we have activities,
18:21capture and detect.
18:22If I press capture
18:23then there is a button
18:24to turn off
18:25it showing in the
18:26control panel.
18:27Same for detect,
18:28I can disable it
18:29from showing in
18:30the control panel.
18:31So that's pretty cool.
18:32Now we also have
18:33this thing called
18:33activities and we
18:34haven't looked at this
18:35Corey but I will
18:36just mention it
18:36quickly.
18:37With activities
18:38enabled it will be
18:39in the magnifier
18:41controls at the
18:43bottom left.
18:44It kind of looks
18:45almost like a flower
18:46or something is
18:47what it looks like
18:48but the point of
18:49this is anyway
18:49we can save a number
18:51of settings to an
18:52activity which we
18:53name.
18:53For example if we
18:54like to read with
18:55five times magnification,
18:57white on black color,
18:58flashlight on,
19:00high contrast enabled.
19:01We can save all
19:02those settings with
19:03the name of our
19:04choice and that
19:05will then become
19:05an activity.
19:06So say we could
19:06have five activities
19:07one for reading
19:08menus, one for
19:10looking at people.
19:11And dinner rolls,
19:12one for cinnamon
19:13rolls.
19:14One for closely
19:14examining cinnamon
19:15rolls.
19:16Whatever it might be.
19:17We can set those
19:18all up each with
19:19their own set of
19:20controls adjusted
19:21however we want
19:22them and then very
19:23quickly flick in
19:24between them.
19:24So there's a lot
19:26of stuff going on
19:26here but the main
19:27thing to remember
19:28is if a feature
19:29that you want to
19:30use is not
19:31showing in your
19:32magnifier controls
19:33it's not because
19:34you don't have it
19:35it's just because
19:36you need to go
19:36into the settings
19:37and enable it.
19:37There was one
19:38other feature you
19:39left out.
19:40There was?
19:40Remember with the
19:41color filters you
19:42can actually go in
19:43and choose which
19:44color filters you
19:45want to show.
19:47This is why this
19:47guy gets paid the
19:48big bucks.
19:49Big bucks.
19:50So that's it.
19:53If we go into
19:53the settings and
19:54then if we just
19:55press where it
19:55says filters we
19:56will get a list of
19:57all those different
19:58color filters which
19:59we can then check
20:01or uncheck depending
20:02on whether we want
20:03those to be
20:04available.
20:04So it might be
20:05Corey that we
20:05only like white on
20:06black and black on
20:07white and we
20:08could just have
20:08those color filters
20:09available so we
20:10don't have to kind
20:11of go in between
20:12all of those
20:13different color
20:13filters when we
20:15open up the
20:15color filters menu.
20:17Very cool stuff.
20:18Check it out.
20:19Get it customized
20:20however you like
20:21it and put down
20:21in the comments
20:22how you like to
20:23customize your
20:24magnifier.
20:28So I do think
20:29the magnifier app
20:31is one of these
20:32apps where it's
20:32like on the surface
20:33you might think
20:34it's kind of
20:34boring but as
20:36you see all the
20:37crazy things it
20:37can do it's
20:38pretty powerful
20:39for a free app
20:40that's already on
20:41your device.
20:43Yes.
20:44It's very good.
20:47No.
20:47It's brilliant
20:48because here's
20:48the thing going
20:49we recommend
20:50people get
20:52Seeing AI
20:52for example.
20:53Okay.
20:54We recommend
20:54they get
20:55Envision AI
20:56for example
20:56so on and
20:57so forth
20:57but your
20:58magnifier app
20:59on your phone
21:00can carry out
21:01the functions
21:02of those
21:03not all of
21:03them granted
21:04but carry out
21:05a number of
21:05the functions
21:06in a perfectly
21:07fine way
21:08without you
21:08having to
21:09download anything
21:09else.
21:09Not to be
21:10fair Envision
21:11is free
21:11Seeing AI
21:12is free
21:13and stuff like
21:13that so it's
21:13not like a
21:14massive deal
21:14but it's
21:15just kind of
21:16cool how there
21:16is an app
21:17on your phone
21:17already built in
21:18but does this
21:19stuff.
21:19Yeah and as
21:20you know as we
21:21mentioned making
21:21sure that you go
21:22into the settings
21:23and customize the
21:24app the way you
21:25like it is a plus
21:26that Seeing AI
21:27and Envision AI
21:28don't have.
21:29That's a great point.
21:30Or again from the
21:31settings if you're
21:32not seeing some of
21:33the features you
21:33got to make sure
21:34you turn those on
21:35but that ability
21:37to turn things on
21:38and off
21:39and adjust it
21:40is I think
21:41is pretty cool.
21:41It's very nice
21:42and I can only assume
21:43that Apple are going
21:44to integrate
21:45Apple intelligence
21:46once it actually
21:47becomes intelligent
21:47into the app
21:49so that we can
21:50also have some
21:50of those AI
21:51features that we
21:52get with some
21:52other apps at the
21:53moment.
21:53Yeah I would
21:53assume the scene
21:54under detect
21:56the scene would
21:56get better
21:57well actually I
21:57think all of
21:58them will get
21:58better as
22:00Apple intelligence
22:01is able to
22:02become intelligent.
22:03Yeah exactly.
22:04Not there yet
22:05but we're getting
22:06there.
22:06So Corey
22:07talking of roles
22:08we have a live
22:09show that goes
22:10out every other
22:10Thursday
22:11and you can
22:14check it out
22:15by being on
22:15our YouTube
22:16channel at
22:1611 a.m.
22:18central on the
22:19Thursday that it
22:20goes up which
22:21if you're watching
22:21this video when it
22:22releases it will

22:23Thursday and Corey
22:24and I are live
22:25talking about
22:25various topics
22:26and we love
22:26interaction from
22:28the audience with
22:28those as well so
22:29you can put things
22:30into the chat and
22:30we will read them
22:31out so check it
22:32out if you haven't
22:33already.
22:33Make sure you
22:34subscribe and like
22:35this video shared
22:36it really does make
22:37a big difference.
22:38We are pushing to
22:39hit 7,000
22:40subscribers we'd
22:43like to do it
22:43yesterday so if
22:45you haven't yet
22:45subscribed and
22:47we're not yet at
22:487,000 and it's
22:50now tomorrow we
22:52really would like
22:52to do it today.
22:53So if we're at
22:557,000 people don't
22:56need to subscribe?
22:57Well that's if it
22:57was yesterday.
22:58Oh but now it's
22:59actually tomorrow's
23:01today.
23:02But please
23:03subscribe it makes

23:46Do we have a

23:47No actually.
23:48There's no supper
