00:00All right, it's about 7 a.m. Little interesting update. So our flight from Athens to Chicago
00:10got delayed to where we'd miss our connection. And then there's no later flights out of Chicago
00:16to Dallas tonight. So we got rebooked, routed through London from Athens and then from London
00:22to DF Dover. And remember just last video when I said American had moved some flights around.
00:27When we were flying through London, we didn't really want to deal with flying through London
00:30with all the COVID restrictions. So we booked our new flights. We ended up getting an extra day.
00:35So we have to go to the airport and figure it out. The flight is operated by British Airways
00:41and not American Airlines. So we can't get seats until we get to the airport. So it could be an
00:46interesting flight home, but at least we'll get home tonight. Fingers crossed.
00:51Look how cute the way they do breakfast here is. So for COVID, they just put these little boxes
00:57with the little place settings. It's a really fun lounge. Full of goodies. Lots of food.
01:03Because it's been in time. A croissant and a roll. But it's free. I'm pretty good. We're not
01:12complaining. And some fresh OJ. This is where you can find Garrett at any given point during our stay here.
01:22It's a free snack bar. Time to go.

01:36This is a woman on a mission to get us home today. I'm just following her around. Going to the land.
01:59Lauren's filling out our passenger locator form for the UK. So I'm going to get her some coffee.
02:03I'm looking at all the snacks.
02:14So Lauren got our passenger locator forms filled out at the last minute to go through London.
02:20So, so far so good. It looks like we might make it home today. Hopefully London lets us through.
02:27We're stamped out of Athens, so that means we have to go home.
02:31Another bus to get on another plane.
02:47Bit of a downgrade from our flat on the way over.
02:52That's a very bad, but that's okay. We'll get home today hopefully.
02:55We're just going to go and speak to the ones that we need, alright?
02:57Yeah, sure, yeah.
03:12Made it to the British Airways first class lounge, even though we're flying in the back of the bus.
03:19We get to hang out here. I'm going to order some food from that little QR code thingy.
03:25So this is my first time in the United Kingdom. It wasn't really how I planned on being here,
03:28but it'll have to do for now until we come back.
03:31Just take a moment to appreciate all of the food we ordered. This is a little embarrassing.
03:36They definitely bought us three sets of silverware and then took one back.
03:39But Garrett ordered three things for himself.
03:42I didn't mean to.
03:44You didn't mean to.
03:47I got a little overwhelmed.
03:49I didn't know what a mackerel was, but it's fish, so I really just meant to get this with fish.
03:53Yeah, he ordered a salad with mackerel. So we got a spot of tea. Not the worst layover.
04:01All right, I've got the spinach and red wine pie. Garrett is eating the salad with the mackerel,
04:08salad with ham, finger sandwiches and chips, and another cream salad.
04:14It's very fishy. It's mackerel. It's a lot.
04:24I'm enjoying my finger sandwiches with a slot of tea, trying to be authentic.
04:33Spends five minutes in the London airport. This is what you get.
04:37Stacking our plates to feel less awkward about how much food we ordered and date.
04:46Why are all European airports like, you don't have a gate yet. You don't have a gate yet.
04:50You've got a gate. You're boarding right now on the other side of the airport.
04:55Time to run.
04:56We're sad to leave the lounge, but we got to go find our gate so we can get home on time.
05:07I don't know if we're going to make this train. It's a busy train.
05:15I almost left Lauren, but she caught up.
05:19We're on the jet bridge, about to board the plane to head back to the United States.
