00:04retirement from office after having previously announced that the 2025-2026 law firm will mark
00:10the end of his tenure as the head of the judiciary. In a statement a short time ago,
00:17Chief Justice Ivarachi announced, quote, that time has arrived and today I indicated to the
00:23acting president that I will retire on October 22nd, 2025, end quote. The Chief Justice is
00:29announcement means that he will be retiring tomorrow. Chief Justice Ivarachi said Trinidad
00:36and Tobago has been good to him and that he hopes he has been equally good to his country.
