00:00Have you been wondering when is it finally going to either look or feel like fall time?
00:06Well, I have some answers here for you. Let's go and take a look at the latest.
00:08This is our overall fall foliage forecast.
00:11So what these colors mean is that if you see red on the map or if you live in an area where red is on the map,
00:17we are expecting vibrant conditions for fall looking conditions.
00:22Now, unfortunately, if you live in an area highlighted in brown,
00:24that means that we're going to see less than vibrant, almost dull conditions here as we head throughout the fall of 2025.
00:31So I wish I had better news here for parts of the southeast and parts of the Appalachians.
00:36But overall here, you can see that this map is showing you when are you expected to see?
00:41When are you going to see the best fall vibrancy of those colors for your region?
00:47And you can see that some of these northern areas have already seen and passed their peak for fall vibrancy.
00:53But look at some of these other areas.
00:55If you live here across the Midwest, down into the southern plains, you haven't seen your best colors yet.
01:01So guess what? Mark those calendars because as we head into late October, early November,
01:07yes, get ready to get outside and see some very vibrant leaves,
01:10especially once again if you live in some of those areas where we are forecasting for those vibrant conditions.
01:16So what this means is that we're going to see some above average,
01:19even great, almost breathtaking conditions here for getting outside to see some of these leaves.
01:25Now for the week of this week coming up, you can see overall we're going to start to see some of these areas peak
01:31across the mountains and even in the parts of the Ohio Valley as well.
01:36So get ready to get outside and see some of these fall conditions.
01:39Now unfortunately, we have seen some drought conditions across this region as well.
01:42So this means that some of the colors, that's why they're going to be a little bit more dull than what we've been seeing.
