00:00So this is an Embraer family
00:11You can see the complexities of what you might find under it
00:23We bought this particular one complete with the linings and the controls and the rudder pedals
00:45which are critical elements that we need for our customers
00:50Our customers, we typically will give our customers as much as they want
00:58This is like the base line that we can add whichever components they might be able to add
01:05and through our links we're going off
01:08So you're going to charge them to all using the parts as it were?
01:14We all work with it to make that part of the system
01:17We all provide them
01:19Yes
01:25Let everything do, the owners of the aircraft will strip all the high value items
01:30and it just leaves the base
01:32The shell, yes
01:33And we will, yes our end user will be replacing some of those components
01:38but a lot of these things can be simulated for training use
01:43so they're not necessarily the actual same component
01:46But so, but this particular cockpit is actually going to go to customers in Turkey
01:54It's really, it's from everywhere, isn't it?
01:56Yes
01:57It's really, it's from everywhere, isn't it?
01:58Yes
01:59Yes
02:00It's either, in our world, either unserviceable or service
02:05It's stupid, if we are too fly
02:07I'm too fly
02:08I'm too fly
02:09I'm too fly
02:10I'm too fly
02:11I'm too fly
02:12And this is a good example of a policy
02:14Really?
02:15Really
02:16So that's a new one
02:17We've got to get that
02:18If it's, you know, even if it's, even when Airbus and Boeing deliver the aircraft at the outset
02:28everything has paper in it
02:30so that it's all as well
02:33Yeah
02:34That's extraordinary
02:35What is that?
02:36That's a crew oxygen one
02:38That's crew oxygen
02:39Face over
02:40Over your head
02:41That's it
02:42Right
02:43So you've got a red handle there
02:44And pull the red tone
02:45And basically
02:46When you're ready
02:47Do you do both of them?
02:48Very sharply down
02:49Am I going to have to take my glasses off?
02:50You should be alright
02:51There you are
02:56I'm absolutely delighted to be here
02:59It's so lovely to come and hear such a success story of which you are all part
03:05I have to say I had a wonderful time just now in the world, 20 minutes or so
03:10I'm facing myself
03:12I'm putting on life vests
03:13But no, on a serious note, I mean, a million congratulations on having been awarded this
03:21As you probably know, they are not awarded lightly
03:24I mean, you have to go through considerable numbers of groups to get to the stage when you're seriously considered
03:32And I'm absolutely thrilled for you
03:35And indeed for our wonderful panty
03:37Because in this little hidden corner is your gem
03:41And you said, how long did you say, 30?
03:4326 years
03:4426 years
03:4526 years ago

06:01To be able to present you with this
06:03And may it bring you wonderful, good things for the future
06:07I wish you well and much success
06:10And please keep this posted
06:12It is just a fantastic day
06:15Well done, well done all of you
06:17Long before we ever considered making an application for a King's Award
06:22We occasionally contemplated pitting ourselves against our competitors
06:26For aviation industry awards
06:28I am very pleased we never have
06:30Or indeed will not now
06:32As nothing quite competes with the stature of the King's Award for Enterprise
06:36The King's Awards are the UK's foremost business accolade
06:42Setting the highest standards it allows any UK company
06:46Regardless of size or sector
06:48To be evaluated on its own merits
06:50And is successful to be recognised for its achievements
06:54Although we knew the level of the awards bar
06:57Was possibly within our reach
06:59The detail required by the application
07:01Was not for the same party
07:03And it set us on a path
07:05That pushed us to look very deeply
07:07Into what we have achieved to date
07:09And to initiate the process
07:11That a year later
07:13Has allowed us to gain
07:15Not only this prestigious award
07:17But also a very clear view of our future
07:21So the process alone
07:23Has been invaluable to us
07:25Fast forwarding from the completion of our application last year
07:29In April Deborah and I were thrilled to hear
07:31That our application had been successful
07:33And that we were indeed going to be the recipients of the King's Award in 2025
07:39In addition to that
07:41And after some additional negotiation
07:43Deborah and I also agreed that I
07:45Would be going to a reception at Windsor Castle
07:47To celebrate the 2025 Awards
07:51Where I might just meet His Majesty the King
07:53To be invited to Windsor was amazing
07:57To meet so many other recipients
07:59From such a vast range of other businesses
08:01Was fascinating
08:03But to meet His Majesty
08:05And to watch Him at work
08:07Chatting with all
08:09With such ease and skill
08:11Was the greatest honor
08:13We are so proud to receive our King's Award today
08:17It's the culmination of a long process
08:21But for us to be recognised in this way
08:23Is incredibly satisfying
08:25Furthermore
08:27For that recognition to be seen by our customers
08:29All around the world
08:31Is simply quite priceless
